  1. Scan results in. Other than a tiny change in a lymph node which they aren't worried about at all there's no sign of anything! Fucking yaaas!

  5. The veiled reference in that leaving statement to personal and family reasons was clearly an attempt to claim the victim role. I'd have had more respect for them if they'd said they reflected on their performance in the role and realised a better standard of board member was required. The departure matched the quality of their tenure. Good riddance.

  6. Our two after an evening walk chasing some glow in the dark balls. Brodie, the boxer, sadly has cancer in his liver and lungs and is about six weeks into palliative care, so every day we get with him is a bonus. It’s all about trying to make sure he can spend his final days being as happy as we can realistically make him.

  7. "Great question" is a statement, not a question (we're quite the experts on the difference between a statement and a question on this thread), so no question mark required. An exclamation mark would have been appropriate. It's ex-players, not x players. Careless use of "tour" instead of "your". Several commas missing. C+ tries hard, but could do better. And here's a good Stephen King title for you: Piss off. I know I'm being a c*nt but you deserve it.

  12. As you've witnessed, apparent well established business men may not be any more intelligent than your average fan in regards to running football clubs. At least with idiot fans in charge your club is likely never to die, and in theory it should be easier to bring about changes in the board room if fans are voting it in. I also suspect Falkirk will have a wide range of people who have the skills to run a football club within their support, it's just a matter of finding them. If you've got the chance to own your club, take it with both hands.

  13. Can you blame us and as for the quick to blame bear in mind that the club went to press calling us racists without any evidence only hearsay, rumour and speculation. The club issued the notice again gone to the media on the copyright and legal action and once again the club blamed the fans for the results on the park so remind me which part of us is meant to be happy with the above.

  15. This is great news but it’s just the beginning. The Club needs emptied this time, no more shuffling of the deckchairs. McFarlane needs to get to f*ck pronto along with Holt. Ritchie and Alexander need to sell their shares and never darken the Club’s door again with any input at all. When a new Board of Directors is appointed, then there should be no place whatsoever for vermin like Andy Thomson to stink the place out, whether that’s in a voluntary position or not. This is our chance to finally get the Club on the right track again. Don’t f*ck it up!

  16. I’ve said this before but the low point of the pandemic in Scottish terms was John Swinney refusing to close schools two days early before the Christmas break, for a pointless Monday/Tuesday where everyone was watching films, because ‘schools are actually safer than the community’. The schools of course did not return after these very safe two days until March 15th. Poor little buggers thrown to the wolves for three whole months. The baldest, speckiest tube.

  20. If I’m completely honest I don’t go to games as often any more, not so much for the political reasons of our illustrious board, but more because I have started to feel more and more detached from the club at every level. I can’t think of a time in the past where I couldn’t care less if we lost every one of our players tomorrow or wasn’t gutted about a defeat. I can only hope that I’ll get that feeling back again sometime soon but there is a long way to go before I think I’ll be desperate to attend every week as I used to do……

  21. I think its important that if the NB group are putting together something that there is an attempt to unite the other fans groups first and appeal to any fans who'd like to be involved to be part of the bid. My concern with the NB bid last time was that there was no detail on who they were. It seemed like the Rawlins were the best option on the basis that they brought proven successful involvement in football when most of us knew nothing about those involved in NB. As others have said, simply running a business and making some money/being a fan isn't a guarantee of being up to running a successful club, far from it otherwise MR and SA would have worked. Also important any fans bid doesn't become a vehicle for egos to take over. Important in this regard that there is wide and varied input along with some kind of democratic process when it comes to selecting the new chairman etc. Hopefully the Rawlins will stay involved in some capacity too. I assume everyone is now happy to go back to games.

  22. I trusted Kirstene Hair to make a complete c**t of her re-election campaign in 2019 and tbf, she did it magnificently, turning a 3K+ majority into a 4K deficit in a constituency packed with Tory farmers and pensioners. A thoroughly useless cuntress.

  24. Nice to see the guy who defended the use of one slur a few months back and spends most of his time here white knighting bigots just casually throwing in another as part of his "I wouldn't put it past this Pakistani politician" material! Great fun!

  25. Already booked Paterson scores a 90th min winner then rips his shirt off as he runs the length of the park in celebration. Ref shows him the inevitable 2nd yellow followed by the red. Paterson shakes the refs hand as he trots off still holding his shirt.......just as VAR kicks in and deems him to have been a big toe offside !!!!

  29. Let's see what comes next. I'll go back to home games when there are tangible steps towards fan ownership or at least involvement in running the club. At the moment it is unclear if that is the plan.

  33. The fan base have had every right to be very angry the past 4/5years as the club have gone from one disaster to the next. The one constant throughout that is the fans, whether rightly or wrongly have backed the club financially and have every right to expect better. Whoever takes over isn’t getting a club on its arse supporter wise, they have something to work with and let’s be honest here our expectations have been driven so low by recent boards that we would probably get behind any sort of recovery/improvement.

  37. Surely I’m not the only one thinking this is a great opportunity? If the NB group, Patrons and ‘less wealthy’ fans can come together we could have 3 cash injections and true fan ownership. f**k them, let’s take our club back and start the comeback ourselves

  41. I'd say that is inevitable - the US prosecution system loves nothing more than doubling-up charges to get longer sentences, and I note that the Guardian article has already been updated (link) with this: He had his initial court appearance on Wednesday on felony charges of driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in death and reckless driving that could get him up to 26 years in state prison if he is convicted. Logically, you might think that the first charge essentially includes the second - but this is likely added due to new information suggesting that he was driving around 150mph at the time of the accident... as more details are released from the crash site, more charges will be added. Luckily for Mr Ruggs, that time will likely be spent in relative comfort (whilst reading up on the law I found this (link)): Note that the Nevada Department of Prisons tries to segregate people convicted of driving drunk from violent offenders and to house them in minimum-security facilities. Generally, I would agree with that. But unlike most crimes, where there is a level of ambiguity, with driving under the influence and causing death there are far fewer grey areas. Were you DUI? Did someone die? I'm guessing that his lawyer (likely hired by the Raiders) will have known pretty quickly yesterday morning whether or not the police are going to be able to prove that. Possession of a gun whilst intoxicated is, I believe, a crime in Nevada. So this will likely add another couple of charges and another few years... The killing of the dog may also be a separate crime. Any way you look at it, this is an absolute tragedy. I hate stories like this, which are far too common in the NFL. The young woman's family completely torn apart in one moment of completely unnecessary stupidity/arrogance. Ruggs' career over before it has started, and with it goes so much potential and opportunity for him and his family etc.

  43. Also, just for the avoidance of doubt, it’s possible to be against the principle of privately rented housing, and still use one through the lack of an option to do anything else. I’d have thought that was obvious, but here we are.
