  4. This was our 1st visit to Broadwood yesterday v cove rangers. I am a season ticket holder at ibrox. My 2 grandsons aged 7 and 10 are wee celtic fans. So apart from the odd scotland game we don't go to the football together. So we have decided to go round the scottish league grounds together. My opinion of the day is as follows. The game itself was a good game really enjoyed it. As for value for money it was an excellent day out, I thought the atmosphere created by the clyde fans was brilliant. Back to the value 1 adult 2 kids a programme 2 pies 2 chocolate bars and 2 cokes for30 quid. Excellent value. As for the rest of the season we would like to wish clyde fc and their fans a successful campaign. Yours sincerely Granda and the bhoys.

  8. That’s a nonsense if true. These 3 guys should be kept with the 1st team squad to help with development and get some game time. Lemon in particular looks a find a should be pushing for a 1st team place as the season goes on.

  10. What the f**k did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the f**k out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're fucking dead, kiddo.

  12. Aye, he's only taken them to their highest league position in over 25 years and matched it three seasons running, having won a trophy for the first time in over 30 years. You continue to be the thickest poster on this whole website.

  13. Folk have been all over BPM recently regarding him trying to put a lid on the start we’ve had (IN LEAGUE FUCKING ONE, JESUS CHRIST). I absolutely agree with him. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the start Sheerin has had. But f**k me. Been a really tough read in recent weeks. We beat East Kilbride and folk lost the plot saying everything was rosy . Sheerin got it wrong in the second half. To lose to Queens Park at home was a fucking embarrassment. Still not beat a full time team in this league .

  14. You can’t waste all that possession, over hit almost every cross into the box & waste a golden chance with the penalty (Horrendous pen) and expect to win the game. It was a wasted opportunity to go top & hopefully stay there. Still a long way to go though. Ref was very poor, laughably bad throughout. Thought a few players were off it too & if you give Simon Murray that much of the goal to aim at, he was always going to score, Robbies positioning again was poor. Great to see such a big crowd inside the place too. Although, as is always the case, we shat the bed with it.

  15. If a bit of gamesmanship is what it takes for us to scoop a win with this squad at a place like Links Park right now then I’ll take it, no issues. I’m a classic football fan though, so reserve the right to squeal like a pig if the circumstances are reversed later in the season.

  16. I think that's harsh on Ferguson. He generally knows what he's talking about, and struggles to put it across, which is obviously a problem in itself. I'd rather listen to Ferguson mangling sensible thoughts than Bonner and Miller though.

  17. Wondered why he was been singled out. Is it for having the audacity to be racially-abused? I suppose Celtic fans did it with Shay Logan for years - two cheeks of the same erse indeed.

  18. I guess there was always likely to be a backlash against the good start we've made as soon as we (inevitably) dropped points at some stage. I really don't think there is too much to worry about yet though. The performance yesterday was night and day v an M&M game last season. We dominated QP throughout and were completely out of luck with the disallowed goals and the penalty. How Seb Ross missed the target with that header is a complete mystery too. I'd be concerned if we'd been outplayed or failed to create anything but that was far from the case. Some underperformers for sure but no reason for panic yet. Also I think Sheerin was saying in his interview that we shouldn't expect anyone in by Tuesday but he did say he hopes to get 2 loans in before the end of September.

  19. Really enjoyed yesterday. Everyone at Falkirk was nice and the game had a good atmosphere. No doubt we were under the cosh for large spells yesterday. We defended very well at times. Good to see Fox and Kilday for the first time together. I thought they were excellent. Charlie Fox was my MOTM. Murray is making a habit of scoring free kicks and thats the way uh-huh uh-huh we like it. Sorry Falkirk fans, you all seemed perfectly sane before the match but some of the 12th man shouts are hilarious. Keena parked his arse into our defender and hit the deck before Fox even jumped for the ball. He’s looking for a pen and cheated the ref. Then your No6, Miller I think, done the most spectacular dive in the box. Tom Daley would have been impressed. Really desperate stuff towards the end.

  20. Mikey McKenna isn't playing as a striker, and hasn't done at all this season. When he played as a striker, in League 1, his scoring record was very, very poor. One of the main reasons he's been so good this season, and is flourishing, is that he is being played consistently in his best position, which is not as a striker. He is playing in a free role 10 yards behind the striker, which is entirely different. Playing in this role takes away all of the discipline required positionally as a main striker or in any of the midfield positions, and allows him to essentially do what he wants without worrying about leaving his man/ not tracking etc. If he was playing as an actual striker, and receiving the ball as the closest player to goal, that would be somewhat ridiculous and not a role he can play at all. Playing in the role he has the last few weeks, allows all of the positive attributes in his game to shine through. He can run about and chase whoever the f**k he wants without any positional worry, he can turn up out wide or in the middle and most importantly goals wise he can make late runs into the box and play off the actual striker. Nouble is our striker, Mikey McKenna is our number 10 in behind him, and it works extremely well. In my opinion, Mikey isn't a Championship player in any other position than the number 10 role. However, in this role he is fucking superb, and all of the negatives of his game can be avoided, and all the positives allowed to shine through.

  22. I think the sample size is big enough to suggest alexanderball works, and f**k knows how. I think it's a combination of analytics and voodoo. There has been a fair bit of chopping and changing, and there are some players that are still getting up to speed, which hopefully accounts for the silly mistakes. Hopefully the break helps with this, and getting any further signings up to speed. I also enjoy the shithousery of Slattery. With him and van veen, plus us winning by playing shite, we should generate a fair amount of hate this year.

  23. Yeah, Keena most definitely wasn’t ‘very poor’. He never loses the ball and any time it comes to him he does something with it, few times in the first half he got the ball to feet in and around the edge of the box and managed to twist and turn and beat a few men and was unlucky not to score. More often than not though he gets the ball into feet with not a lot around him and he keeps it then finds a Falkirk player. Doing things like that which mainly goes unnoticed is absolutely invaluable. Also it was clever play from him to get his body in the way that won us the penalty.

  24. This has been terribly hard for me to post. Last week we had to put Roxy to sleep. It was very sudden, she developed a limp and after an x-ray it showed cancer had eaten away at her front leg and had spread throughout her body. It was so difficult as she still had all her faculties. We are all devastated. Such a wonderfully loyal family pet who loved every one of us. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. She was just fuckin ace eh. Roxy 2011 - 2021.

TASC SOCIAL MEDIA MAN OF THE MATCH - RESULT Congratulations to Michael Mckenna on winning the TASC Social Media Man of the Match for his performance in the Lichties comfortable 3-0 win over Dunfermline in Fife yesterday. 31. Thoroughly enjoyed my day yesterday. It was more like a cup-tie than a league game with both teams going for the win. Not surprisingly, with a bumper home crowd behind them, Falkirk - still title favourites - had a thundering start and I was at the just-a-matter-of-time stage when we started settling down and holding the ball a bit more. Not sure where the hoof ball came from but the last half-hour of the game was what we are about. But expecting silky stuff for this match was too much and the performance overall was one that suggests whatever our Directors & CEO have plans for this season, the playing and coaching group are out to win. As a humble fan, taking 3 points from Falkirk at Westfield is as good as we could ever hope for this season. As always, max endeavour and effort from all and a solid performance from all five in defence. Fox was outstanding again and continues to amaze with his ground skills. Kilday was exceptionally good given his time out and like Fox, reads the game superbly. Robson and Doyle both had control of their areas throughout. Willie Muir! MotM for me though was Gillespie. His influence on what happens across the midfield is huge and it happens every week. And then there’s Simon. Scuffs a six-yard sitter and hits a free-kick like Ronaldo. you gotta love him. Interesting to read so many FFC fans criticism of the ref. QP fan’s felt the same, especially in the second half. Maybe he’s consistently poor. Like most of them. The players did well in such heat and provided good entertainment. Both these teams will be in the top four at the season end. Decent travelling support, noisy to the end. Happy days

  37. Calmed down now. My thoughts are that we deserved the win over the piece. Celtic came out the traps and had most of the pressure early on, which seems to be a feature of "Angeball" (lol). When I saw Balogun was playing at RB I did have the fear, but he was magnificent and deservedly MotM. I thought we dominated the second half and disappointed we didn't get another as the last 5 mins or so with Celtic pressing was nervy. McRorie was composed in goal and had a couple of good saves. I'm really surprised Celtic didn't test him more often. Edouard's miss encapsulated the shadow of the player he's become. His retail value must be dropping like a stone with every shambolic performance. We were nowhere near back to our best, but didn't have to be.

  39. He explained it very clearly in his post, that's the life expectancy at birth, but once you make it as far as 80 you have a much higher chance of living even longer. It's a slightly less extreme case of the old story about the life expectancy being 40 in the Middle Ages - that was strictly true, but it didn't mean that people didn't live into old age, it was just a remnant of the fact that childbirth was so risky that many newborns died and pulled down the average.
