Hopefully UEFA force rangers to play in front of full stadiums as punishment for their sectarian singing.16 points

They didn't get relegated. They were liquidated, and a new club was parachuted into the 4th tier with their name on it.14 points

Mark Millars got cult hero status for me. IIRC came in with a shite haircut from Celtic, two footed some Dunfermline player on his debut. Was absolute ass the full season. Came back next year with a baldy and ran through brick walls with a team of youngsters. Brilliant player who's career seemed to only go down once he left us. Also scored the winner in our last game against Rangers FC R.I.P x13 points

^^^^^It certainly wasn't a sickening result for the vast majority of the Scottish populace.13 points

Jon Dahl Tomasson...........ripping the piss out of Sevco and their lickspittle scribblers. F*ckin' beautiful. ETA - apologies if already posted but surely worth a repeat.10 points

I get that not everyone is able to buy a season ticket, but to proclaim that since you didn’t get a ticket to the single most sought after game in saints history you’re not going to support saints any more! That’s not a fan, that’s someone looking for an Instagram or Facebook post to show that they go to games. Give me the 3000 core fans every day of the week, the ones who sit in the pouring rain and snow in December and encourage the team every step of the way. You’ve just got to look at the atmosphere in the Scottish Cup Semi on 2014 when all the day trippers didn’t bother and you had your core fans, what a day that was and what a noise produced for the entirety of the game, even after we went 1-0 down early on.10 points

Will always love him for that goal, one of the best games ever at TFS. Peter Martins commentary on Sky also superb.9 points

This reminds me of when I met a young guy eating a donner kebab about 3.00am one Sunday morning when I was on night shift and we got chatting. He told me he was on his way to a lecture. I asked him who on earth would be giving lectures at that time on a Sunday morning? He replied, 'My mum'.9 points

Disagree. I thought it a very shrewd move. He’ll play every week, they’ll build a team around him and his reputation will grow game by game. He’ll attract attention and have his choice of next moves when he’s ready. Smart lad.9 points

I think people are quite rightly allowing their hatred of Rangers to cloud their judgement.9 points

I am more comfortable that it was a Champions League match which could be seen as a spectacle that anyone may be interested in. The key thing is that he didn’t enjoy himself.9 points

Looks like The Good Guys / The Main Players / The Main Event were ahead of the curve yet again. Mass/community testing is a load of utterly pointless shite? Who could have predicted it. The hypochondriacs who line up every week will be gutted. Same with those companies who are profiteering from it like there's no tomorrow. Get them straight in the bin. Let's not forget some of the so-called 'experts' either telling us that 'the vaccines alone wilnae be enuff!!111', and that testing is 'part ae the solution!!!11'. Well, that will be gone sooner than later. I'm sure masks will follow since all they are doing at this point is reminding us psychologically of the crisis we did once live through, but has now passed. With the arrival of highly effective vaccines, you never needed to be a medical 'expert' or epidemiologist to know that Covid would just become another bog standard respiratory infection like all the others we put up with. You simply needed to have a rational and pragmatic grip on reality, and not be a psycho with ulterior motives. If you're like that, then the path back to old, normal, pre-pandemic life is clear.8 points

Some might say decking Derek Adams should win you Player of the Month rather than a red card. Last month Dunbar manager Geoff Jones was dismissed from the dugout for disputing a throw in. In a pre season friendly. In the 90th minute. With his side 3-1 up. The Dunbar committee relieved him of his post the next week.8 points

For any Rangers fan disappointed by tonight, you have to remember how far you have come. It was only 9 years ago that you were a new club battling to get out of League 2, and now look at you, even being on the same pitch as a club like Malmo is a fantastic achievement.7 points

First time seeing Callum Wilson; what a player. Only has one thing on his mind and that is being as direct as possible. Will terrorise L1 defenders I'm sure. A must start surely6 points

Your posts bring a lot of memories back. My late, much loved (and first) dogJura was a fantastic boy - here's a pic. He was a rescue collie and was already 3 when we got him (really skinny, and with a pinned leg where it had been broken, and a broken tail - from goodness knows what kind of past neglect). He was pretty shy at first for obvious reasons but soon became the most pampered, indulged dog in Glasgow, and stuck to us like a limpet. He was diagnosed with lymphoma when he was only 6, which absolutely broke our hearts. No cure for it in dogs but the experts advised that his life expectancy could be expanded from possibly only 6-8 weeks to 12-15 months with chemo, so that's what we did. He tolerated it really well after initial adjustments and the year or so more we got with him was really valuable and so special, albeit bittersweet for obvious reasons. So many treasured memories from it. Like you are doing with Archie, Jura got more and more luxurious food treats! Because why not. You are doing all you can for Archie, and he's got a great owner who cares about him deeply. In the circs, that's all that matters. Hope he continues to do OK for as long as possible and that he's feeling better after yesterday.6 points
