  2. It's quite the fairy tale, really. When the plucky Ibrox side were formed in 2012, few people predicted they'd reach such lofty heights. Sure there were stumbles on the way up the league structure, from (same old) Alloa, always cheating, to the humiliation at Fir Park, but they fought manfully against all the odds - and the 'deep state' SFA agenda - and I think we should all congratulate such a Roy of the Rovers success story. Well done Rangers, you now have the same number of league titles as Third Lanark, Kilmarnock or Motherwell.

  3. Loving the idea that the police force for the largest city in the country, that was scheduled to hold a climate change summit with huge potential for protests and demonstrations just can't do anything if a bunch of knuckle-dragging morons predictably decide to gather in the streets. Clearly the only thing to do is to chaperone them through the streets like an Orange walk! An absolute, full-blown minter for Police Scotland and by extension the SG who they report to.

  4. It's good for Scottish football that a team that isn't Celtic or Rangers has won the league.

  5. Having won every domestic trophy since 2016, Celtic's stronghold had to fall at some point. Congratulations to St. Johnstone on being the team to finally end Celtic's domestic dominance. It has clearly had a positive impact on other Scottish clubs and that shouldn't be underestimated. Just today, Rangers took heart from Saints' League Cup victory by winning their very own trophy. Hopefully this is a defining moment in Scottish football and we'll soon start to see even more teams taking confidence from St. Johnstone's achievement. Congratulations to the Perth club.

  8. To be fair it's understandable - you just can't win with unhinged bigots. You can't educate morons, just look at the way they eat their way in to an early grave at 50. Old firm fans don't have the capacity to understand or admit when they acting like tools, they lack any empathy what so ever and their single existence is simply to get one over on each other.

I could have voted for Jak II like someone else did and got it a bit higher, and in all honesty I liked that game more, but something compelled me to include this here. This was one of the first non-racing games I played and there's something perfect about my perception of the whole game that isn't purely wrapped up in nostalgia. I know the feelings of the sounds and the music and the things that happen on screen are part of that but the game is just a little bit more than the sum of its parts to me, and I think as a series it's woefully under-appreciated from a PlayStation-centric perspective. Poll-maker backlog status: The PS4 version is on there. I've toyed with making it my 175th platinum but I might have Project Cars set up for that by the time I reach it, so I'm not sure. 27. Devi talking about the lockdown not being strict enough is just more deflecting away from the fact that the primary problems were in care homes and hospitals. Both governments seem keen not to talk about transmission in these settings in case the public get the idea into their heads that anyone should be held responsible for all the deaths there. We'll hear Sturgeon and her outriders bang on about house parties and celebrations but I haven't heard a peep from her about 60% of severe cases being contracted in hospital.

  28. All fair points. I'm sure the club will review the whole thing at the end of this season. I know a lot fewer people watch the highlights on B&W TV than on the old Youtube channel, for example. It's a difficult one, Ayr's first video paywall (Ayr World c.2009-12) was successful on its own terms (it paid for itself and for equipment that is used to this day). It did not contribute anything financially to the club though. So much has changed in the last decade and there is a much higher expectation from fans for content (free and otherwise). It will be a difficult circle to square for the club to keep fans happy while making Black & White TV a revenue generator. Interesting times...

  29. Thats Humza doubling down on Jason’s ‘ill take your euros away’ pish. Id suggest that if UEFA or Fifa were even remotely concerned about crime or public safety they wouldnt have had a world cup in Russia (and some of the euros) and the next world cup in Qatar.

  31. If it was upto me (and it isn't) the people who should be quoted as "Mr/Mrs/Ms Falkirk" aren't guys like Totten but the volunteers who help round the club. That photo of Totten has Sarah Scott in there, the amount of work she did for the junior bairns and the benefits the club have got from that has been immense how many fans that might have slipped into the old firm support were brought back by the junior bairns? Or guys who run buses for no reward year after year.

  37. Quite amusing seeing this debate and the justifications being thrown. I think 99% of people would sympathise with a spontaneous explosion of emotion if there had been a dramatic event to cause this. let’s be honest, the title was won months ago and it’s not even official yet. This was pre planned, orchestrated gathering so the club and the fanboys on here can spare us the emotional argument. The frustrating thing for people is not the gathering itself but fans, the club and even the media desperately trying to justify it.

  40. My niece turns 1 in less than a month, they live about 400yds from my house and ive been legally allowed to visit them for less than a third of her life. My wee boy is 2 almost 3, hasnt had the chance to go out and go to the soft play and football classes he absolutely loved which help with not only his socialisation skills but even just the life experiences and introduction to sports etc. He asked for a birthday party, doesnt want presents, wants a wee party for his friends with his grandparents there (my wifes parents have seen him twice since December), yet he cant have that. Wife’s knocked her pan in with work, taking on extra days for vaccine clinics and we’ve had no support from the government yet in Devi’s eyes this hasnt been harsh enough? Shes stressed out her nut and cant even go a swim or whatever to unwind. What does Devi want to do? Lock every c**t in a fucking cage? Make your own sunshine in a 6x4 cell Devi? You know I get that she is obviously a book smart intelligent person but thats certainly not the same for her emotional intelligence and self awareness.
