I'm sure he misplaced a pass or two, aye. But we got 3 clean sheets and looked a whole lot more defensively sound in those last 3 games. Is he a natural defender? Nope. Would I rather he played midfield? Aye. But if him playing there provides the defensive balance we otherwise wouldnt have without him there, then fine. Saying hes been shite the last 3 games just screams that you made up your mind on him months ago and wont accept evidence to the contrary.8 points

Couldnae help but smile when the voiceover managed to fit in an obligatory 'successful businesswoman' line. Tom English demanded it on threat of resignation, I hear.8 points

His laughable tone when announcing the killing of a terrorist (obviously a good thing) and still showing he doesn't know what dogs do:8 points

There is nothing wrong with listening to Radio 2 via DAB or any other source, as long as it's on weekdays between 10.30 and 10.50.7 points

My favourite aspect of this pandemic, is that it’s the perfect cover for me being an unsociable p***k. I’ll need to revert back to the old fashioned, but infinitely less well received, “because I don’t want to” excuse.5 points

1300 viewers for yesterday’s game. Obviously a lot of those would be season ticket holders but it is better than I expected tbh. You’d probably be looking at an attendance of around 1800 at the game in normal circumstances so it is a decent effort. Well done to all at RaithTV for the excellent service. When you see issues clubs like Inverness, Arbroath, Ayr and Partick Thistle have had as well as teething issues at a few other clubs we are very fortunate the club have produced a product which has been great from the very first showing. I think that it reflected in the numbers tuning in (winning convincingly most weeks obviously helps too!!).5 points

As soon as I read that Gary Locke was an integral part of the first episode my interest waned completely, although I do wonder how long before he updates his linkedin profile with a link to his Imdb page.4 points

Really? A bizarre stance. You'd want Scotland to not be able to run its own affairs and not be forced in to shite like leaving the EU against the will of the electorate just because there are are some shite SNP politicians? Yet you'd be happy for all manner of Tory scum to tell us to to eat our cereal forevermore? The same shower of evil who vote to starve children and give away contracts to their pals for fun? There isn't going to ever be a single party where there aren't shite politicians. The SNP won't be in power forever in an Independent Scotland, and should the 'coup' you mention happen those noted won't be running things forever either. Were they to take over an SNP government in Scotland and were shit, we'd at least be able to vote on our own future, including the possibility of getting them punted. Right now our votes hardly mean a thing save for the Scottish Parliament elections.4 points

https://www.idlehandsduffy.com/post/diamond-watches-airdrieonians-5-0-clyde A lot more fun to write than the last two! Roll on Wednesday. As @ShineOnYouCrazyDiamonds has pointed out (in painstaking detail, no less), this set up seems to be when we play our most effective stuff. A clean sheet to add to the goals hopefully underlines you can be hard to beat and unpleasant to play against without being shorn of guile, craft and attacking energy.4 points

Wasn't expecting that - if he keeps going like he has been (and that is the biggest of ifs with Watt) - then it's a great piece of business...4 points

This was something I noticed as well. We’ve not actually dropped a point or even conceded a goal to a non OF team in the League since the Hamilton game back in August(albeit we’ve missed several games due to Covid). Even going back across our last 6 league games against non OF opposition, we’ve only conceded 1 goal in 540 mins of football. We’ve also picked up 13 points and scored 10 goals in those 6 games as well- which included trips to Easter Road and Pittodrie. As much as these OF drubbings are becoming slightly tiresome, it’s not something I’m going to lose much sleep over. They actually seem to have clouded over the fact that after a poor start, we’ve otherwise been motoring along quite nicely and seem to be heading in the right direction.4 points
