  1. You, my good man, are 100% right, a shambles and a joke indeed. Friday nights deadline for teams withdrawing was 8PM, the fixtures should have been out by 8:01PM. It's disgraceful that anyone would have taken part in a Zoom Meeting to sort out the Conferences structure. 2 hours in a meeting that should have been spent getting fixtures out. How dare anyone then take some time out on a Friday night to enjoy some time with his family. Chilling out with a glass or 2 of a favourite tipple whilst watching a film on Netflix. Reprehensible!! Then to make matters worse to go on and postpone the planned release of the fixtures on Saturday at 5PM due to another team withdrawing after the Friday deadline. Shocking!! What was I thinking? Leaving the house to do a shopping for food? How dare anyone have a life outside of this? Fixtures finally released at 11AM on Sunday is not good enough. I will therefore look forward to your incoming application to join the IMG of the WoSFL and let me step down from this role. A role which clearly you are better suited to than me. As for the website, the admin of that made a couple of copy and paste errors in his haste to let everyone know about all the games that nobody can go to. Sorry about that. I shall make sure he is sent to Outer Mongolia for that dreadful mistake. Kennie Young Soon to be ex-Secretary of WoSFL

  7. All going well fans will be able to buy this weekend's stream from midday tomorrow. Season ticket holders signing in will already have access for the game so all you need to do is log in. People making one off payments it'll be similar to the Forfar game. Just log in and pay. You can just ignore the access code part unless the club has specifically sent you one. We have a working scoreboard and timer to add to our commentary now. We've been assured the bug from the Pars game is fixed and last weekend's games all went pretty smoothly but I'd log in nice and early just to be safe. Commentary might go out of sync again as Pixellot currently don't think there's an issue there, but there is. I've got a few ideas how to fix it but stadium is closed till the weekend so hopefully can sort it for Airdrie game but you never know it might just stay in time. If anyone has any trouble logging in or anything else just give me a shout on here or email the club and we'll get it sorted.

  10. More damage to the club? That's a good 1 We finished 24th last season in Scotland even though we are around the 10th biggest club We don't own very much of the stadium which is miles from finished even though we've been in it 16 years. Our turnover of players recently would make Vladimir Romanov wince. We haven't won a meaningful cup in 63 years. We would get laughed out of town by giants of the game like Livi and Hamilton if we met them in a cup tie. What exactly is left to damage????? Right now we are a car that drove off the cliff edge and as it explodes on the ground you're hoping the magic fucking tree is salvageable. I couldn't give a f**k who we sold the club too. There is nothing left of the fucker.

  11. I did insult him so I don't see an issue with him defending himself and giving a bit back. I've been listening to Off The Ball since the start and it's definitely a habit. When not at the football I'll always have it on. It's been discussed a lot but it's become so sycophantic and arse licking towards what it used to vehemently oppose and proudly stand against. Folk like me who felt that the show was for them have been so disappointed and feel let down by a show that spoke to and for us. The slagging of Tam Cowan's musical tastes are nothing new and I'm sure he's used to it and it most likely doesn't bother him. Anyway, still unsure why I should be posting under my real name on here. No one else does and it's because it would be extremely unwise given how many psychos there are kicking around.

  13. Sounds a stand-up kind of guy. The first thing I noticed was that he didn’t actually apologise for wanking during a meeting. He only apologised for forgetting to mute his sound and video before having a w**k during a meeting. Possibly while staring into the eyes of one of the attendees and grunting away like a proper fucking deviant.

  14. I have let go of a huge rasping fart when i thought i was on mute. The VC thingy we use highlights the picture of anyone making noise. I just pretended nothing happened. I realise farting and wanking are different pastimes, but it seems relevant.

  19. I am genuinely saddened and confused by all this. Who hired Gow? What was the process? Why are we chasing away people with a real track record of turning round clubs much bigger than ours? Why are Thompson and Lang and co trying to get back in? The message I got was that there is a real chance if us being out of business next year if this doesn't go through. My feeling now is of complete and utter helplessness as I watch these arrogant individuals inflict death by a thousand cuts on the football team I love.

  22. Right, will do the draw first. Then will make some comments on some of the big ties/ the ones i can be arsed doing(as I'm not commenting on all them, f**k that). @WhiteRoseKillie v @scottmcleanscontacts @Arch Stanton v @MSU @Helpma v @Adamski @Silky Si McFly v @Leeds Saint @Bully Wee Villa v @Rugster @The DA v @peasy23 @Geaky v @JamesP_81 @The Hologram v @Tynierose @The_Kincardine v @Spring Onion @Snobot v @NotThePars @German Jag v @Cardinal Richelieu @The Captain v @deej @Eednud v @Salvo Montalbano @NJ2 v @MixuFruit @101 v @pleslie99 @Arabdownunder v @Ross. @mathematics v @BigBo10 @kingjoey v @Blootoon87 @ArmadaleKillie v @LincolnHearts @SlipperyP v @die hard doonhamer v @Jacksgranda So, where to start with that draw? Quite a few big guns facing each other, will make for an entertaining first round. Once The Hologram and Tynie have stopped arguing/flirting it should be another interesting tie. Cardinal out of the wilderness, how will he fair? f**k knows, shite probably. Also, regarding posting scores. I will check the leaderboard regularly to see who has done the quiz(but i may miss it if you don't use your usual username), but feel free to post it on here as well. I will likely be in touch if there are multiple scores posted under the same name, just to clarify). The deadline for doing the quiz is 9pm on Thursday(UK time). Should be enough time, and i have tagged everyone in the quiz.(if i've picked somebody with a similar name, you'll just have to rely on them informing me/ you noticing this post). Anyway, enough talk. Here we go! First round of quiz

  23. Just wee update. Firstly thanks to everyone for the interest and concerm in my previous post through PMs and posts... My friend should be up once his Bank of Scotland Super squirrel passbook account will allow him to remove enough funds to cover the "advanced" mega bus fare .. Our final concern due to recent regulations & for those ITK , Is whether he will be allowed to bring on a couple packets of poundland sandwiches and a copy of the Glasweigan to break up the journey on public bus now ?! Simply to pass the time as oppose to wasting other peoples time.. Kind Regards SSB

  24. I've done a wee spiel about the rituals of going to a football game and how the game can have positive and negative impact for fans and players alike. If you fancy a wee read then it's here. Without wanting to go full Scotzine (never go full 'zine), if anyone ever wants to contribute then fire me a DM. I've been thinking over the last few months about how it would be positive to have another place to promote the club (whether it develops into a new club specific forum or podcast). Any constructive feedback is welcome!

  30. Yeah, there's no inconsistency in recognising it's a compelling and sometimes excellent programme despite the idealism and cloying nature of Sorkin's writing, while also acknowledging that it's given a significant number of the centrist idealists who loved it brain worms along with much of it dating horribly (CJ ranting about affirmative action ruining her father's career prospects comes to mind before we even go near repeat issues like foreign policy and portrayals of women). Of course it's more of a US issue and obviously those who've allowed one television programme to so heavily influence their worldview are to blame rather than anyone involved in making it. However you can genuinely see a through line from the West Wing's projection of an idealised version of politics where compromise and consensus consistently succeed with good faith actors on all sides finding common ground for the good of democracy despite their ideological differences *Charlie looks on sincerely* to the enduring faith of some Democrats in bipartisanship, politeness, taking Republicans at face value and the importance of strictly abiding by convention even as they've been consistently ratfucked by a party showing absolutely no interest in compromise, precedent or the rule of law for decades. While the main contributing factor is Blairism, this is repeated in the Labour Party with their belief that a 'moderate, decent Conservative Party' is just waiting to emerge, oust Johnson along with the more mendacious fuckers in cabinet like Patel & Gove, join a customs union with the EU and above all else stop being so mean if Labour just demonstrates that they can work alongside those moderates in the centre ground in the spirit of compromise by, erm, failing to vote against anything the Tories propose no matter how evil. The fact that no Tories are breaking the whip when the government legalises murder and rape by the state somehow hasn't resulted in them accepting the futility of this approach.

  31. Probably posting more tonight than I usually do on here due to the fact I’m utter perplexed at the thought of this not being passed and even further annoyed at the likely repercussions. The last few years have been an absolute nightmare. I can’t begin to think of our club becoming even worse than where we currently are. I never for a minute thought we would be out of the Premiership for this long on the day we were relegated at Rugby Park , yet we couldn’t be further away from it if we tried. The thought of becoming an Airdrie or Clyde, with all due respect, drives me insane . It’s time we make change, this is our chance. I say our, it’s the shareholder’s chance. Future of the club lies with you.
