This is the 4th or 5th time Hearts have been relegated in the last 4 months. You'd think it would get less enjoyable with repetition. Yet it doesn't.55 points

They're not very sectarian and mostly vegetarian And otherwise contrarian The Thistle Family They like to drink craft beer Their stand's called 'Colin Weir' Their mascot makes you fear The Thistle family They didn't want relegation They went to arbitration That just led to frustration The Thistle Family54 points

Felt sympathy with Hearts, Partick and Stranraer as it was bad luck to be bottom when the music stopped same for Falkirk who we were lucky to be a point ahead of. However Hearts and Partick couldn’t accept it and dragged ourselves Dundee Utd and Cove into this at legal cost to our clubs while being shite bags in not naming Celtic too, classic picking on the wee guys bullying tactics. Get it round you both, hope the legal bill and impending fine are large.44 points

Mind when Hearts were going to: - Get an interdict to stop the season starting - Get £10M compensation - Have relegation overturned - Get £8M compensation - Relegate Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove - Bankrupt Scottish football - Put multiple clubs out of business - Get the Dundee overturned - Have the vote to end the season be done again - Reconstruct the leagues so that they stayed up - Cross exam Neil Doncaster and expose his corruption - Bring down the SPFL - Bring down the SFA - Stick it to Lawwell - Shite on Dundee United's doorstep (literally) - Go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport - Win their last 8 league games and stay up - Win at St Mirren Park42 points

He'll say something like: "Neil Doncaster and the SPFL have achieved their pyrrhic victory, but it's a success for legality over morality. Make no mistake, this whole sorry saga will lead to bitter recriminations for years to come."28 points

So the stunning precedent has been set - if you finish bottom, you get relegated. Spectacular.27 points

Ann Budge, Jacqui Low, Tom English, Ian McCall, Euan Murray. You boys took one hell of a beating26 points

I am wondering what the holdup is. Even if they're just debating the next step legalwise, they could easily put out an anodyne 'We note with disappointment the Arbitration hearing result and we're taking legal advice for the next step to be taken'. The longer this goes on, the more it looks like nobody with the authority to put out a statement is available. I have visions of Ann Budge with her da's Korean War revolver in one hand, taking huge swigs out of a bottle of gin in the other, staggering around outside Leslie Deans' front window and yelling for that useless wee b*****d to come outside and explain in person why his last 4 months of ad-hoc legal advice turned out to be absolute, utter, gash, while a couple of her hangers-on try to restrain her without getting shot at.24 points

Referring to themselves as 'The Partick Thistle Family' is sufficient grounds to dump them out the pyramid altogether.21 points

Can people stop putting pictures of Budge on the thread. That’s three times I’ve been close to the moneyshot while reading the thread only to be abruptly brought to a halt.18 points

I have to admit, I thought there would be some kind of sweetener but the medicine is bitter and cold. Wow. This is up there with Rangers liquidation on the banter scales. Truly historic. Budge has misjudged this at every turn and even managed to rope in some others, notably English, at the same time. Stunning turn of events.18 points

Pretty apt, as their young son seems poised to take a sh*t on a Partick Thistle beach towel.17 points

Tom English blustering his way through the explanation here - sounds utterly gutted. A big victory for Dundee Utd, Raith and Cove - f**k off, they were already promoted ya fud. He says Hearts and Partick might be liable for some or all costs - duh.............. On Neil Doncaster - ah, this is going to be the thread he keeps tugging at. He is dribbling on about "full disclosure of the documents"................as if Hearts and Partick havent already seen them as part of the arbitration. The man is a fanny, a complete lickspittle fanny with his tongue right up Budges hoop. Sounded broken - Good17 points

Hibs got relegated to the bottom 6 due to PPG and you dont hear them going on about it. A great bunch of lads and a credit to their city.16 points

With all the war references, will Budge next claim that she'll 'fight them on the beaches'? Because Hearts can do just that in the upcoming season. They can 'fight them on the beaches' of Arbroath, Ayr, Kirkcaldy, Greenock, Dundee etc15 points

Not to generalise too much, but the folk I've seen on my social media who have booked for Ibiza and Marbella are the same folk who were piling 25 folk into gardens, going to "Big Licks" for ice cream five nights a week and driving 60 miles to walk up hills, all while the R rate was through the roof and 1,000 folk a day were dying in the UK.15 points

Intrigued to see the reaction of Tom English to this. He backed the wrong horse from the start, continued to double down at every turn and completely trashed his credibility in Scotland. The findings today make a mockery of his stance the entire way through. He surely doesn't have anywhere to go now other than admit he was wrong.14 points

What part of this was about anything to do with changing "the decision-making processes, the perceived lack of leadership, the lack of commercialism"? It was about trying to avoid relegation and nothing more. She didn't put anything forward that would have affected any of the things she claims there.13 points

Dear Neil Doncaster Over the past few years I, in common with all other Scottish football fans, have made certain statements regarding the SPFL governance that may have been somewhat misconstrued. Forum posts and social media tweets such as 'FFS, can the SPFL dig their tongues any further into Dave King's colon?' and 'Go back to conveyancing in Taunton you useless Cornish cockwomble' may have given the erroneous impression that we thought that the SPFL were a gang of third rate merchant school rugby blazers who couldn't be trusted to run a whist drive in a care home, let alone a professional sporting competition. Nothing could be further from the truth. We would like to clarify that the current SPFL governance team are exemplars of probity and sporting integrity, whose decisonmaking skills are unparalleled in modern football organization, and that the Scottish league system will no doubt continue to be in safe hands for years to come. We are happy to set the record straight and apologise for any confusion this may have caused.13 points
