- Inverness called for null and void for 'reasons', although I strongly suspect that said reasons were they thought they'd have a good shot at getting in to the Premiership via reconstruction. - Whilst calling for this they also wanted the prize money for finishing second. - Ross McArthur, probably because he's on the SPFL board and has most likely taken the time to look at things and understand them, pointed out to Gardiner that null and void would mean an equal share of prize of money, and null and void would mean wiping out the season and no league places could be awarded, thus no one was entitled to more or less of the league money than anyone else. - Scott Gardiner inexplicably took this as a 'threat' and 'bullying'. - Squabbling and pish. Vote for reconstruction fails. - Gardiner and some others release teary, thiny veiled statements. Partick Thistle and Falkirk were quickly out of the traps with tear drenched, delusional nonsense, although Sevco and Hearts dwarf their efforts with the most bitter, stupid and outright false pish, all wrapped up in a very weepy, red faced tantrum, furiously scribbled in crayon. - Ross McArthur releases a statement pretty much saying, "Pipe down ya wee fanny" after getting annoyed at Gardiner's pish. 5 other clubs in the Championship support it - Brechin release a statement, much to the same effect as McArthur's, and for much the same reasons, stating that not only has there been no bullying, but other things have been outright made up. ALL League 2 clubs are said to support it and are prepared to corroborate it.25 points

The remaining games in the 19/20 Scottish Cup don't need to be played before the 20/21 season starts, as they don't determine what league teams will be in for the 20/21 season. Playoffs determine which league teams will be in, and would therefore have to be played before the season starts. It is also impossible for clubs to budget to build a squad for the season if they're not going to know what league they'll be in until a few days before the season starts as they're playing in a playoff just before the league gets underway. This is extremely simple stuff which shouldn't need to be explained to anyone, but here we are.21 points

Scottish football's reputation isn't 'down the shitter' because literally nobody outside of the domestic media circus gives a toss about who said what to whom. The rest of Europe are busy getting embroiled in very similar debates over 'sporting integrity' and self interest: Scotland has simply wrapped up most of the campaign instead of kicking the can down the road. Scottish football continued and indeed flourished in 2012 after the death of Rangers and the psycho 'sink us and we'll sink you' agenda adopted by its tragic tribute act. The idea that it can't possibly cope with a bit of mud-slinging in the media now is utter nonsense.21 points

Enjoying the irony of people mewling about how much of a shambles the SPFL have made of this, then proposing we have play offs before the season starts, giving some clubs a weeks notice as to what division they will be in.20 points

Tremendous stuff today guys. Proper Vera Lynn, good old Blighty, Blitz spirit getting us through the pandemic. -Todd still claiming it's a bad case of the flu. -Teachers are feckless and should bloody well work for free and if they don't like it they should bloody well get another job. -Oaky having one of his 'episodes' Lowkey highlight for me though was @Granny Danger and @SlipperyP having an argument about the morals of 'buying' Thai brides. All in all, I'll be out giving it laldy with the pots and pans on Thursday night in recognition of everyone's commitment on here.19 points

I'm the EIS rep at my school, so have a bit of knowledge on this. Two things: 1) No, we're not. I myself am having to juggle the equivalent of working a full-time job, under circumstances quite different and quite more difficult than what I've been trained for, whilst caring for my own three children. I don't know any teachers who are enjoying being off. I would far rather be back at school, as would my colleagues both in school and within my union. 2) That's just not true. There is plenty appetite for going back. What there isn't appetite for is going back under a 'business as usual' model. Just this morning we canvassed all staff to ask for their opinions on how going back could be best managed and what precautions could be taken. Please don't fall for the spin that teachers are enjoying being at home right now. We're not. We're trained to teach kids, and that's what we want to be doing.17 points

I like Tom English. He's got this wrong though. I think that being critical of the SPFL and Doncaster is usually a pretty sound stance. It probably even is this time, given that the Good Friday vote was poorly administered. However, he's found himself siding with clubs who clearly have a greeting faced agenda. I think he's also quite enjoyed resisting the stereotype of being the anti-Rangers Irishman. It's led him down a blind alley. He's not good at admitting errors or misjudgements, meaning that he can wind up looking foolish.13 points

Jesus wept there is some pish being spouted about teachers from folk who know f**k all what they're on about. I'm a teacher, I am definitely working my contracted 35 hours a week. I'm still responsible for planning and marking as normal, added to that I'm also responsible for training some of my colleagues on how to use IT effectively, organising our website, delivering technology to children without access to IT, school improvement planning, curriculum development and cpd to name just a few tasks. Would I rather be teaching my class and actually helping them learn rather than trying to chase up kids and families who can't or won't engage with learning? Damn right I would. We do get good holidays, I won't deny that. But considering all the other crap we put with I think it's fair. Plenty other jobs have other perks, this is ours.13 points

So Scot Gardiner managed to piss off the whole of the Championship and unite the clubs against him? File this into things you love to see.12 points

See how Doncaster said legal action could harm clubs - do we get to pick the clubs?12 points

My absolute favourite so far is the wailing from certain Rangers fans on twitter, almost primarily Unionists, that 33% of clubs voting for an investigation means there is an appetite for it. But 'Wee Nippy' will cry and cry until the Indy vote goes her way and 45% means there's no appetite for that.11 points

Why wouldn't we demand extra pay if we are forced to come in over the school holidays? Do you work for free for your employer?11 points

Rangers are being laughed at for spending 2 weeks claiming they had some incredible evidence, before revealing to square root of f**k all. The brass neck of a club who, along with Doncaster, tried to bully, threaten and coerce sides to their will just a few years ago, now claiming they're the bastions of integrity in the fight against bullying, threatening and coercion in Scottish football also adds to that. If anything Rangers are actually harming any fight against ineptitude at the SPFL by being so ridiculous in the opposite direction. Their own failings are giving Doncaster an easy way out.11 points

As much as I’ve quite enjoyed the tear stained statements and mudslinging, the reduction of every matter in Scottish football (and wider society) to Rangers/Celtic is fucking exhausting. I can’t put into words how much I would love it if both of them just fucked off or ceased to exist. Although I think the dossier was largely full of nonsense and I don’t think there has been any bullying etc, I’ve started to come round to the idea of an independent inquiry because there have clearly been issues with the way this episode has been handled by the SPFL. But like those above, I’ve absolutely no confidence that an independent inquiry would allow us to move forward because everything would boil down to conspiratorial pish by one side or the other.10 points

ICT timing their late run to be the most pathetic, laughable club in the process perfectly; moving effortlessly past Rangers, Hearts and Dundee in the final furlong. Fair play.8 points

St. Mirren statement as a footnote to the weekly updates going out... And finally We are being quoted in the media as one of the clubs that has scuppered reconstruction talks. We feel that it is important to put the record straight within our own support. At the meeting our Chairman clearly stated that we were in favour of continuing reconstruction talks but only if it was a permanent change for the benefit of Scottish Football. We also made it clear that any final decision would be made by the St Mirren board. Reconstruction is one of the points within the shareholders agreement that requires agreement between SMiSA, Kibble and Gordon Scott, so the board would never make a final decision without the correct protocol being followed. With reconstruction off the table for now and today's resolution failing it is important now that we all concentrate our energy on finding a way to populate stadiums safely and get back to playing and watching the game we love. Take care of yourselves and stay safe.7 points

Disappointing that we went down the old school tactic of commenting to the press instead of issuing a statement on our tinpot club website. And also that we didn't stick the boot in even further. The 9-1 verdict in the division says it all about Gardiner's ability to win friends and influence people in the game though. Inverness have got themselves a real keeper.7 points

I'd need to see something far more convincing than Daily Record journalism to believe that a serious, organised plan has been in motion. Occam's razor points to a very stupid executive in Gardiner acting on his own behalf to ingratiate himself to both his big team and former employer in the top flight, while aiming to get his current employers a grubby promotion through top flight expansion. His bullshit was called out by other Championship clubs, he lost the SPFL vote and the top flight finally crushed expansion talk on Friday: hence his tear-drenched statement at the weekend. No grand conspiracy is required to explain this one.7 points
