  1. This new incarnation of Rangers is so tragic. The old Rangers had a genuine 'we don't care attitude' which came from a deluded arrogance that they were just better than everyone - on and off the park. They were a horrible club and it was their false belief that they were superior that made them so horrible. This new version is an insecure, paranoid, desperate shadow of a club that are now permanent victims of supposed injustices. Their former belief that they were superior has now been replaced by a desperate need to feel superior, whilst knowing that they aren't. Their very birth was born out of what they felt was an injustice and it is now in their DNA to complain, moan and play the victim - characteristics which used to be the sole domain of the Green half of Glasgow. This whole saga just sums the new club up.

  2. Today is a good day, After a few bad weeks. Just under 2 weeks ago my mum tested positive for Covid-19. She's asthmatic and we all feared the worst. She's now on the road to recovery after a dreadful few weeks. It's the worst she has felt in her life she said and wouldn't wish it on her worst enemy. She reckons she won't be back to normal for around a month as her body took a beating, but glad to report my wee mum is back! For folk looking for info on the testing, she got tested at a drive through in Port Glasgow and got her results the next day. She is an NHS employee though. Stay safe everyone.

  4. Rangers are like Donald Trump. They couldn’t give a flying fùck what the rest of Scottish football think, they are only interested in appealing to their own moronic support.

  5. Their sanitiser failed to meet NHS standards and the owners have been creaming money from the company into various shell companies of their own. Investors have paid for one of them to own a New York flat over and above his official salary. Long story short, Brewdog are a shower of posturing c***s who make sub-standard beer and even worse sanitiser.

  6. Rangers have done what they intended, their fanbase has been whipped into a frenzy, and no matter what happens have completely forgotten about another season of abject failure and can convince themselves that everyone is out to get them. Theyll sell plenty of increased price season tickets off the back of this.

  9. The quotation around 'dossier' is a nice touch. It's this kind of petty shit that makes our game so great

  10. Ahhh! The reek of desperation. Let's face it your team is pish and deserve to go down. Even after you got a new diddy to manage your club, you remained pish and spent heavily in the process, which is highly amusing. You couldn't even catch us, and we had two fit (21 year old) centre halves, no recognised right back and two of our best players, one of them being our captain, ruled out through ACL injuries. Get fucking doon!

  16. Pffft. Large reports of this sort are easy to get the gist of. The first thing you do is hit the conclusion section, find out what they're *really* saying and then track back to the bits of evidence that actually support the conclusion. And if you're able to see at a glance that those are pish, then you don't really need to trawl the details of the flimflam to denounce the report as a whole.

  18. I wonder who the sniveling little grass leaking the WhatsApp conversations is? For the sake of privacy, let's call him Scott G. No that's too obvious, let's say S Gardiner.

  21. Sevco: "You said you cannae give out loans" SPFL: "No. We said we wouldn't" Sevco: "But ye did" SPFL: "No we never." Sevco: "You gave GRETNA A LOAN!" SPFL: "That was the SPL" Sevco: "Who are you again?" SPFL: "The SPFL" Sevco: "What's the difference?" SPFL: "During the short existence of the SPL six clubs went into administration and two of them were liquidated. Including yourselves. Perhaps we shouldn't be taking their financial mismanagement as a default position." Sevco: "IT'S A FIX!"

  23. I know I said I'd do one drawing per week, but I'm cracking up now so it was between this and prank calling Robbie Neilson all morning. There's only so many times you can pretend to be Tony Ashgar, inviting him to Gussie Park for a few bottles of 'Rona, before his enthusiasm starts to wane. Anyway, here's our second instalment; Dark Blue Heartthrob, Gary Harkins. Next up... I'm not sure yet. Thoughts? Thank you.

  24. Toddler tears and tantrums from Sevco all because Celtic are better than them. This is all to try and stop Celtic winning the title for this season. That's it. What a bunch of absolute scumbags. Genuinely the most stupid and horrible kind of folk.

  26. So Rangers accuse Doncaster of being ‘the guiding hand’ - is that not exactly what his role is and what he should be doing?

  27. If you don't want to click on the Sun website, here's an apparent rundown: Gers accuse chief executive Neil Doncaster of holding back key information from clubs and being ‘the guiding hand’ who determined the league’s actions. They claim the SPFL could be liable for up to £10million in refunds to broadcasters by ending the season prematurely. Gers say Doncaster suggested the SPFL handed over a sponsorship deal to Sky Sports which was significantly below the league’s market value. They question why SPFL lawyer Rod McKenzie issued four ‘cease and desist’ requests to Ibrox chairman Douglas Park - insisting he blocked their bid for a new resolution. They query a letter sent to UEFA outlining how Scotland’s clubs wanted the season over before any vote had taken place. And they insist there are still unanswered questions on why Dundee performed a voting U-turn.

  29. If this were any other club (except Celtic) the fans would openly admit that this is an utter embarrassment but they must blindly follow whatever the clubs states, truly remarkable what these two clubs get away with in terms of supporters just going with it.

  31. The Junior grade deserved a better demise than this. Some of its appointed and self-appointed spokespeople should take a good look at themselves and ask how much their intransigence played a part. The pod asked a question about what the future of the grade was - well the fact virtually 100 clubs have left in the past 2 years answers that, eh?

  33. You've got to feel sorry for the Hearts fans, they've been happy to have Rangers fight their corner in the way you want that mental mate to defend you in a fight, only to watch in horror as that same mental mate performs a Cleveland Steamer and they can't back out because they're balls deep and we're at the vinegar strokes stage.

  35. Tom English doesn't like admitting he's wrong and that's always been his problem. I don't think he's a bad journalist, but this has been a shambles on his part. He's backed himself into a corner and started digging a hole he can't get out of.

  37. Surprised you would say this to be honest, perhaps your support of Lochee is colouring you viewpoint just a little? As has been mentioned in at least one previous observation, not all he said was wrong but the sheer, seething bitterness of just about everything he spoke of was awful. From this podcast appearance you can safely assume that there will continue to be little in the way of positive engagement with the Pyramid on his part and that will continue to be detrimental to his club and to the rest of the Tayside teams.

  41. Because an alarming number of people think Britain almost singlehandedly liberated Europe from the Nazis, and it's in nobody's interests to persuade them otherwise. It's a bit trickier to claim the same for Japan, considering the Americans made damn sure the world knew who'd ended that particular chapter. Also worrying how many people refer to 'we' or 'us' winning World War II; you did f**k all, mate, it was the work of a generation who'll all be dead from old age soon. Stop trying to tag yourself on to other people's achievements and suffering by association.
