I think Baird has been fine. He was well off the pace in his first few matches but I think his performances are steadily improving although a few more goals would be nice.11 points

I’d much rather have Longridge with us than against our defence that’s for sure.11 points

I'd wager the best things to happen in the vast majority of Dundee fan's lives has happened away from football. If the greatest thing that has happened in Dundee United's fan's lives is when their team won something then I'd suggest they have had a far worse existence.8 points

Aye. I heard at the weekend there wasn’t ever any contact between Falkirk and Goodwillie. It looks like Brian Carrigan has succeeded in getting the attention his parents clearly never gave him by fabricating a story. I know I won’t trust anything he ever says on here again.8 points

The part from Brian Carrigan which you've highlighted isn't true. (for some reason I can't quote both posts). I have no idea if we were in for him or not. What I do know is that it never got to the stage of him being told to report to TFS for a medical, after which he would sign the contract and would then be photographed / interviewed. The three processes are always done at the same time and in that order. TBH, the idea that a player would be introduced to the press BEFORE signing a legally-binding contract document is just a bit silly.8 points

The whole premise of Tinder is that both parties have to consent, so I can understand why Clyde fans are confused by it.8 points

Genuinely can’t understand the fans that don’t rate Longridge btw. Quite comfortably our most creative player and only real player we’ve got that can make something out of nothing happen in the final third. Aye he’s inconsistent but that’s exactly why he’s playing with us if he could figure out how to be at his best week in week out he’d be a regular starter in the Premiership imo. We’re definitely a weaker team without him.6 points

Munoz having the gif-strewn breakdown literally everyone predicted. Outstanding [emoji23]6 points

I have never really noticed what an absolute walloper @Munoz is until this thread. A truly horrific poster. Well played @Scotty Tunbridge.6 points

I don’t think it’s disrespectful to point out that there are some potential spanners in the works for the ownership and finances (and by extension the continued existence and functioning) of the football club, which Weir had only recently purchased, while in ill health, and with other legal proceedings having been ongoing. None of this detracts from his generosity or disrespects his memory. They are matters having a bearing on the employment of something like 40+ people, and the continued existence of the football club.6 points

God must indeed be a Bairn. Divine intervention saved us from the bearded conman and the rapist.6 points

Clearly not. Thought he put a shift in. He done a fairly good job with his hold up play and some great vision with his passing. Should have been on the score sheet as well. He's not exactly set the heather alight but he definitely brings something to the team.6 points

Longridge can be a frustrating player but he is one of the few we have with any creativity. Losing him to a direct promotion rival would be very bad business, if not rank stupidity in my opinion. This would come back to bite us.6 points

You say that as if all of us are 100% buying into Ogren’s long-term viability? At the moment there is nothing to suggest he is a charlatan but nearly all United fans also have a cautious attitude when thinking about the long-term. At the moment things are great, so the immediate reaction is hugely positive and it gives us plenty of ammunition to be a bit cocky about things. We all know that it could get difficult but there is no way of predicting that.4 points

What a surprise Rory Currie's, Russell McLean's & Archie MacPhee's loans have not been extended! Here's a list of all their contributions: Rory Currie: ... Russell McLean: Scored his only goal on his debut in a 2-1 defeat to Raith at home. Archie MacPhee: ... Excellent loan signings, not.4 points

Whilst I would usually agree I think I've told this story before that a guy once got down to the final few in a selection process dues to having 'professional sheep sheerer' on his CV. No experience in our field (lol) but was asked what it was like. "No idea, I only put that on the CV so people remember me". Didn't get the job but still, he bombed some other poor bugger out a chance.4 points

1. He does not have a conviction of rape, neither party was afforded the chance of a criminal trial therefore a judge in a civil court said he probably did and awarded damages. It is safe to say that horrendous crimes of this severity should not be in a civil court but a criminal court so whatever party get the correct justice. For the record, if Goodie was found guilty in a Criminal court by a jury then I would have him nowhere near my club. 2. The player wasn't exactly joking about rape, such a strange assumption. However in context, it was a bad choice of joke to start with given everything.4 points

Here we are the final award. The Worst The Rangers Poster 2019. With a tear in my eye let's announce the very deserving winner. Third place @TavTastic a double bronze here for Tav' most as been said in my previous post the previously banned @AWRA an awful troll but there are definetly worse Sevco posters than him. Also naming yourself after a footballer on here is pathetic Second place @bennett who else? I honestly thought bennett wasn't going to feature here as he wasn't nominated until about halfway through the votes which shows the real strength of the winner but he still managed to storm into second. An awful awful poster offers literally no thoughts on his team or any games just posts shitty 1 line fishing attempts and has never been to Ibrox in his life deserves double the red dots he's already on. First place @The_Kincardine taking over half of the popular vote The Kincardine deserves this. He will no doubt claim his award while correcting spelling and grammar... IF he's not drunk which is highly unlikely if he's not drunk he'll be hungover anyway. To be fair unlike @bennett he at least will offer some sort of opinion on the football even if it is a horrible bigoted opinion. Goes crying to the mods anytime someone posts 3 asterisks. Thinks he is smart by changing his avatar to inflamatory flags to try and see how far he can push the envelope and likes to act like he is above everyone else. A really horrible man well done ***.4 points

I saw that on my feed when Thunbergophobia was peaking. The (late fifties) wumman who posted it was completely oblivious to the number of times it talks about things we had, or did. Had. Did. Things her parents' generation put in place. And we don't have them now. And this is the fault of 16-17 year olds because why? Aye, it WAS your wasteful generation who fucked up the planet.3 points
