  4. I think it's a great shame that games just continue as normal over Christmas in our league. Boxing Day and New Year's Day games are much better.

  5. Just seeing this and its turned into a car crash. Things happen and are said during the 90 minutes that are maybe wrong but can be put down to emotions. This is just embarrassing to slag and question someone's Integrity a day and a half later. We got beat, we pick ourselves up use the 2 week break to try come back stronger. Mookshaw if your a New Farm Man. Thanks for the support but please give it a rest. Taken it too far now

  9. Literally hundreds of folk on here saw you, who looked like a bald middle aged man, in your St Mirren PJs, playing FM, then heard your maw speaking to you in the background. Just because your mate @Div, who also allows you to continue posting after your bans for holocaust denial and homophobia, has purged the evidence doesnt mean it didnt happen.

  11. Mitchell has to be Lennon's best signing with us. He has been so so important for us he's definitely my player of the season so far. Top lad, top keeper.

  14. We played a 4-3-3. McCall and Kerr both commented on this saying that to get our best players on the park then playing 3 in midfield was a must. It was also easy to switch to a 4-2-3-1 with Kelly pushing on a bit. I wouldn’t start Moore at all right now. He’s better coming in against tiring defenders and he definitely isn’t suited to a lone striker role. Put Geggan in for Kerr and allow Forrest, Moff and McCowan the freedom to go and cause problems.

  17. As you know I'm a nationalist and a member of the SNP but here's the irony of where we are now, in their 1970 election manifesto the SNP were strongly opposed to Common Market ( EU) membership, yet times, attitudes and policies change. There is absolutely no doubt that Ireland has benefited greatly from EU membership and will continue to do so as many other smaller nations have done likewise.. I have never said that, I am more than aware that there will be economic difficulties on Independence but the benefit of being able to stand alone as a nation and decide our future will outweigh those difficulties eventually, it is not the likes of us on this forum who will take the country forward but our children and grandchildren, it is they as proud Scots and not British, whatever that was, who will benefit. As I have mentioned before having worked with Danes I have seen at first hand what a small European nation can achieve with the right education and attitude, and bear in mind that they do not have the natural resources we possess, Denmark for instance have a substantial share of wind turbine manufacture throughout the world with Vesta, and how about Denmark's Maersk one of the largest merchant fleets in the world, and then we question what happened to the great Scottish shipping companies such as Denholm, Ben Line, Lyle, Hogarth's etc etc. And why were North Sea platform modules built in Middlesborough and Sunderland when Clyde shipyards stood empty, we have been systematically stripped of industry and fed fuckin crumbs through our own blind adherence to a fuckin failed so called Union.

  24. You can fit an oil tanker sideways in the political space between Corbyn and Blair. Its not either or. Labour's problems are not economic (though as they try to gain seats in the SE of England they will face issues with economic competence or at least the perception of it) they are social. There membership is young and educated. Key voting demographics are not. What the former want in a leader and what many constituencies will want are rather different. They need someone who looks competent, who people can imagine being a prime minister and taking tough decisions. They need a leadership team that is competent, that can anticipate how policies will be seen by the public and attacked by their enemies. Not simply drawing up what looks like personal wish lists. They will need to make hard choices and think laterally and perhaps ground breaking in some areas. It has to pull together a coalition of about 13 million voters who live in different worlds, it needs a leader who will be happy to be stood next to soldiers and police officers, raising defence and crime as areas Labour is strong on, while its membership and urban voters do not collectively loose their minds and start twitter storms about "neoimperialism" or something. It needs to be comfortable with capitalism while not having to go down the unfettered markets route. We are in increasingly polarised societies (its a general trend). Peoples entire world views are curated by social media algorithms that, for purely financial reasons, promote the most lurid and emotive stories into peoples news feeds. We live in a world where so many people are being radicalised: just think the alt right, incels, jihadis etc. There is a trend of people becoming more and more wound up. And this includes part of the Labour membership (you should see the insane shit some of the popular sites knock out, The Canary, Novaramedia and Swakbox: unrelenting OTT clickbait). Large sections of Labours voters are disappearing down different echo chambers. Swathes of the country feels socially and economically excluded, and for 3 1/2 years they have been seeing proBrexit stories, stories about immigration etc on their news feeds. 2019 needs to be a wakeup call to how polarised and divided we are becoming. We live with almost separate realities to each other. Objective truth is no longer something we agree on and share. Its not Blair II we need, and its certainly not Corbyn II. Its a clean out top to bottom and replacing them with people who will face perhaps an impossible task, bridging to many gaps that will likely continue to grow. But we need people to understand how rapidly the country is changing and the social, economic, demographic and technological drivers of those changes. The 2020s are going to be "interesting".

  25. The tackle by Fyvie was an assault with no attempt to play the ball and was very clearly a red card, up to that point the Ref had had a good game. Hartely then got involved with our supporters and his team with only 10 men started to waste time and take the piss out of the Ref with their time wasting. When we lost that last minute goal Hartley lost his head as did their Directors. They and Hartely were a disgrace to football by their behaviour at the end of the game.

  26. Round at a friends house for a few drinks on Saturday, they have a Xmas playlist on the go . White Xmas comes on the playlist with someone mentioning they like Bing Crosby, my girl friend then announces its just a shame hes a rapist... After much confusion and some questioning turned out she meant Bill Cosby.

  31. I think Dundee putting the final nail in our coffin during the relegation season wouldve hurt more if they had kicked on and became a team challenging for a top six place and went on some big cup runs. Instead, they struggled to avoid relegation in the following seasons before being put out of their misery last year and to top it off, they are watching us cigar it to the title whilst struggling to stay in the play off spots. Im sure they will still come up to the Premiership forum from time to time to say hello [emoji38]

  34. Got some sad news today. After 7 years of medical training, my good friend has been struck off after 1 minor indiscretion. He slept with 1 of his patients & now can no longer work in the job he loves. What a waste of time, training&money. A genuinely nice guy, and a brilliant vet

  35. Waiting in the bank to put £50 in notes into my account, using the fantastic new time saving machine which has a human permanently showing people how to use it. Some bint had a heroes tub full of change and folded notes that kept getting rejected. 10 minutes down, she finishes, I go second in the queue. The old couple in front have just presented the helper with a carrier bag of change. Fucking fucking fuckitty f**k

  37. Apologies if the names ain't 100%, but here goes. Aberdeen. Best - Scotfree, Mullarkey and the lad who opened up on the depression forum (can't remember his name) All good guys. Worst - None stick out, probably because they're a bit dull. Could imagine them going to a brothel and being more interested in reading an old copy of the Radio Times from the 80's that's on the table in the waiting area. Celtic. Best - He gets pelters, but when he takes the green blinkers off, Flybhoy can actually post some decent stuff. Doesn't mind taking a bit of stick either. Worst - No shortage of candidates, but I'd sum up Romeo in one word. That word is 'Cock' Hamilton. Best - Scotty Tunbridge, Accies1874, but tbh, I won't hear a bad word said about any of them. Really don't get the hatred towards their team. Worst - N/A. Hibs. Best - Throbber, Mixufixit and Bambino (if he ever gets home from his Caribbean cruise) Mostly good lads though and the undisputed Kings of the Gifs. Worst - None really, but VanCityHibs can be a bit of a dick who always appears when Hearts lose. Odds-on he has a JKB account. Hearts. Best - Tynierose, Currahee, Egg Shen, LondonHMFC. Would buy any of these a pint (Milk for LondonHMFC though. Kind Regards, Thank You. Gem x) Worst - N/A. Killie. Best - Moomintroll. Decent poster, not afraid to call out his own. Worst - The sadly missed Dindeleux. The fantasies that went on inside his head were something else. His claim to have been sucked off by a teacher will never be topped. Livi Best/Worst. Nobody sticks out for either. Pretty decent posters on the whole tbf. Motherwell. Best - Capt Oats. Knowledgeable. Worst - Not sure of the name or if they got emptied, but the lad who had a Karl Pilkington picture with his username was a fruitcake. SG Rangers. Best - Kincardine/Bennett. The seethe and bites they create and get are a masterclass at times. Worst - Probably the same pair. Ross County. Best/Worst - See Livi. St Johnstone. Best - TrackdayBob. Worst - Ali_91 - A tree-hugging, lentil-munching apologist of epic proportions. You can have an opinion (as long as it matches mine.) Probably the biggest tit on the site. St Mirren. Best - alang1993 and Coventry Saint seem like good lads. Worst - Dunno if a Jambo rode his mum while he was watching but Lex seems to have a massive chip on his shoulder when it comes to Hearts. Still doesn't come close to winning this though, which is down to Munoz......an utter weirdo. ANY adult who owns AND wears a pair of club pyjamas are at best OFTW.

  38. The comedown has hit some more than other, the results..... Eccies Play Off @Moomintroll P5 W3 L2 last app 23/11/2019 Think it will be slighty more than half so will go for 28 to match my prediction of how many goals Killie will score in the league this season. v @Tynierose P12 W9 L3 last app 05/10/2019 NO SCORE Swadgers Play Off @The_Kincardine P17 W9 L8 last app 07/12/2019 So 50 state capitals and there will be 36 occurrences of the letter 'e'. v @Cardinal Richelieu P19 W11 L8 last app 30/11/2019 I can only think of 49 of the b*****ds, as per that episode of Friends. I've got 28 Es so far ... and I'm pretty sure the state I'm missing with starts with A. Since a majority of states DON'T have an E I'm sticking with 28. v @BigBo10 P6 W3 L3 last app 30/11/2019 148. Seems like a random enough guess. Question - The letter "E". How many are in the 50 State Capitals of the USA. 36 https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._state_capitals Congratulations to @Moomintroll for not understanding the answer, however still trumps @Tynierose with his Hearts desplay of not turning up. Also congratulations to @The_Kincardine, bang on the money. Sorry @BigBo10, with an answer like that, you deserve to stay in the Diddy League. AND, we come to the @Cardinal Richelieu, you can be a fool, but the fools fool shows his workings. Well played. Diddy League is too good for a man like you. Well here we are again, Christmas is upon us in the next few days. I take this opportunity to say to everyone of you, that contributes to this thread. Thank you very much, and have a great time with your friends and family. Merry Christmas x

  39. Got to be trouncing the **** 6-1 in the play -offs . Saving ourselves from relegation while consigning them to another year in the lower leagues was glorious. It was like all the planets aligned to f**k them over big time. Highlights of this included the three one win at Ibrox with Ainsworth crossing himself after scoring the third sending them into a rabid frenzy. The twist and shout singalong by the Well fans after being kept behind. Refusing to give them a full away ticket allocation after they fucked us over at the last minute for ours and the subsequent heads gone from ra peepul. That Cammy Bell punch. Sitting behind two Rangurs fans in our end as we pumped them three nil at Fir Park which ended wae the wummin *** bursting into tears . Leaving the game to witness the utter seethe of the reduced away support as we pointed and laughed. Oh the memories!!
