  1. Unless someones spoken to a relative of Regans, then I don't think we'll believe it for now thanks.

  3. Just in from the match so haven’t seen any highlights yet. From my recollection of the game, it was watching through my fingers for the first half hour then we woke up. Well worked first goal, with great trickery from Gallacher to get round McGregor without losing a leg, and a good shot to finish. Andy, Andy, Andy, Andy Considine with a tap in for the equaliser and at that point the Rangers defence was all over the place. Has Flanagan really played international football, and Gallacher had the big centre back, not Goldson, shiting himself every time the ball was played down the right hand side second half. Sam should have scored a third with an easy header, but taking three points would have been greedy. I don’t often celebrate a draw, but feel that was justified tonight. Real battling second half performance which was needed for the fans, but not the ones that left at 2.0! The two despicable human beings that are Morelos and McGregor are so suited to the institution that is Rangers, it is scary. I have no idea how many times that Morelos dived tonight, and not once was he booked for it. And he doesn’t just fall over. It’s the face clutching, the multiple roll overs, the greetin’ face, he’s obviously Rangers most important player and I get that the Rangers fans love him, but he is a horrible individual. And no idea what McGregor was up to with the referee at the end, but he likes to be the victim all the time. An angry, angry person.

  4. I'd like to give a massive shout out to the owners of C & G Systems and Stuart Carswell and Kyle Hutton who earlier today provided a wonderful visit and meet session at the stadium to my grand-daughter and a bunch of her excited primary school pals. They were shown all around the place, got to sit in the dressing rooms, had races on the pitch and took their packed lunches in Bar 72 where the players answered questions and signed autographs, etc., From the feedback I got, this appears to have been a great experience for the kids and an excellent bit of PR for DFC - thank you, and a huge well done to everyone involved.

  6. To be fair, it took a good bit of patience to get to that point. This is probably the 4th version of Motherwell that we've had since he arrived (Staying up Motherwell, THUNDERDOME Motherwell, Davie Turnbull Balon D'or Motherwell, now we're into a dozen different scorers Motherwell). All of them seem to have taught him something else, and each version he's had has a different set of players, and a different style. Given the ups and downs the Buddies have had over the past 2 years, it'll take some time with Goodwin. That photo is tremendous. Can we just ban any other photos being posted so that stays as the cover photo forever? I just clocked Robinson in the background

  7. Much more solid at the back, we've already kept more clean sheets than we did the whole of last season. McDonald is a better left back than Murray and Anderson is a better centre back. We don't miss him.

  8. Found this on facebook The Dutch media are not pulling their punches. This was published in the Volksrant, a daily newspaper. As you can see it depicts the UK being gang raped by Johnson, Farage, Cummings, Rees-Mogg and somebody else...... edit(is it gove?) The BBC is saying, “Move along now. Nothing to see here”. Seems to me the Dutch have a grip of what’s happening here and the BBC’s role in it.

  9. There was a small section of the fans ready to bin him but, for the most part, everyone was happy for him to stay on. We radically changed how we wanted to play football going from the 3-5-2 hammer throwers to getting a couple of wingers in and realising the best midfielder in the country was chilling in our under 20s team until about November.

  15. Yep. The attempt to attack Johnson (rightly) and portray Corbyn as some sort of man of the people on this site is quite frankly pathetic. The man is anti-semitic, doesn’t have a stance on two major issues (indyref2 and Brexit) and is constantly spouting cloud cuckoo land soundbites (including his unsustainable spending plans) to try and get the young, naive students on board. He’s an utter fool and while Johnson is too, the idea that we’ll be totally safe with Corbyn in charge is baffling.

  18. As JR alluded too on the podcast Bill, Darvel wouldn’t be what it is today without all the efforts off the ball from Chairman and Darvel Legend/working committee, suppose you could say that for a nearly every junior club but they probably don’t get the recognition they fully deserve tbh. The sense of community feel about the place is remarkable and JR touched on it, the fans firmly believe they are part of something already. Mainly down to the environment created where players/managers/coaches are all engaged with fans pre/post games etc. We have all bought into it (when I say bought I mean it literally not physically before we get slaughtered for spending money again). Contrary to popular belief we are all level headed doon the brae and are not getting ahead of ourselves, but more so excited about what may lie ahead for us as a club. [emoji106]

  27. I was expecting a tough match tonight but for the first time in a while Saints were not hard to beat. They offered very little going forward as well. Hylton was class for us again and the work rate of Polworth was incredible in forcing Saints to go longer.

  31. @Casual Observer Your chat is awful. Thats the second time in 24 hours using the phrase "hibsing" it. You are either (a) a boring sad wee man jealous because us Leith boys are just world class shaggers and all you can manage are those last vinegar strokes thinking about your sister. or (b) crying those salty salty tears because one of our Leith shaggers has been up your mum more often than her pimp. Piss off back to the Killie threads, nobody is interested in your shite.

  35. And another 10 out of 10. Students of French in the 90s will remember La Tricolore textbooks, where seemingly every other sentence made reference to the vibrancy and richness of things happening in La Rochelle, France. I was absolutely convinced growing up that La Rochelle was second only to Paris in terms of size and importance. Of course, having just looked it up, it would appear that's a pretty ordinary "city" with a population of around 75,000. Which leads me to wonder if students in France eagerly open their cahiers des textes to read about all the goings-on in, say, East Kilbride.

  36. It's not to back up Cumnock fans, it's a fact, infact add rather wind them up than back them up, but Cumnock don't have control, we played them in the section Cup, kick off 6:45pm, changed till 8pm as Cumnock couldn't get onto the pitch as it was booked, game was a farce warming up beside the pitch till exactly 8pm, till about 60 weans came off, straight onto it straight into the game, the game got replayed as the lights went out before it was finished, they can't just cancel all block bookings and say look thanks for keeping the facility going but we're booting use off it this week oh and in 2 weeks time and then again the following week, or know one would use it, as a say kello will most likely make way, but only if asked, but the other 3 Teams may not be so keen to step aside, the block bookings are the bread n butter of the sports hub, the money from them keep the facility afloat, it was mentioned a few years back that Cumnock were effectively homeless and only leasing a pitch the same as whittlets, rossvale petershill, they don't own a thing, Whit a state for a proud club like Cumnock to get into. There was nothing wrong with the ground ,great grass pitch. Why the bloody hell did they want to be part of a sports hub and not be in control of what happens at their own ground ? Been better staying at Lugar lol

  37. I’ve done that. Took 60 seconds. My daughter and I will be away, so have no chance of making the game. When I saw how quick we were selling out, I put a quick call to the ticket office this afternoon to let them know we wouldn’t be there, and asked if they could open out our seats and sell them on. They took the details and said they could do that no problem. Would rather the club got the extra cash and someone was in our seats cheering the team on than them being empty.

  38. I think this part of the rules is badly worded. Presumably if I criticised the methods used to found the Israeli state, eg. ethnic cleansing, land and property expropriation, and terrorism, I could be accused of claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavour. I don't deny the right of Israel to exist, it's just a fact, and generations of Israelis have been born and lived there, now often with no living memory of before. The way it came about though, and the continuing expropriation of land in the West Bank where only Jews are allowed a vote for their de facto rulers, is and was a racist endeavour.

Aberdeen holding on for the draw is lovely. Me and a solitary dons fan giving it fist pumps, he went as far as shouting get it up ye to the young teuchters. Delightful!
