Equally, fully expect the "Yes Da's" to insist he's innocent regardless of what evidence comes out during the trial. The extremes of both sides will be as horrendous as the other. I'm an SNP member and a huge proponent of Scottish Independence, but this trial has absolutely zero to do with either and is merely about whether a man has acted indecently and committed awful crimes or not. I'll be reserving all judgements until details emerge. If he's guilty of the more serious accusations, then the book should be thrown at him.17 points

I’m sure you didn’t mean it like to sound that way, but that’s one of the creepiest posts this side of “average-y looking cocktease”.9 points

@BawWatchin that's just embarrassing. Using alleged sexual assaults on a series of women in a terrible attempt to score political points. Its the kind of post that does more harm than good to the independence movement and if you cant understand that then maybe you need to take several steps back.8 points

Weir was terrible when he did anything but foot the bill for the academy. He forced massively unqualified Low into the "Chairman" position solely on the basis that they were pals and then threw the toys out the pram when she was rightly sacked. The appointment of Caldwell and the treatment of Doolan was horrific. The majority of supporters who want him back seem to be the core, shouty gimps in our support.6 points

I don’t see what the army has to do with football or Dundee. If they want to do something for a worthy cause, then pick a local charity. These strips are a minter. Surprised it doesn’t have “born to serve” stitched onto the back of the shirt instead.5 points

People on here saying we shouldn’t pre-judge but I reckon all of us will to some degree. Either Salmond is lying or ten women are lying; I find the former more probable than the latter.5 points

In defence of Alex Salmond and his rape allegations @WATTOO has sided with Salmond and against this "weirdo" generation. Apparently it's perfectly normal to go around moving folks hair to whisper in their ears and also perfectly acceptable to pinch arses. "It's a compliment!". "Thankfully Eastern Europe is still normal so at least the whole world hasn't gone insane". creepy c**t.5 points

Priti Patel says poverty is not the fault of the government. I’m not one to pontificate about people’s views but if you’re considering voting Tory in this election, you are a fucking idiot.5 points

Nobody is saying we don’t deserve to be here. But it’s an absolutely terrible league, and no fan from any other League One club will convince me and the majority on here otherwise.4 points

Yes. It's a solid metal bar that is about 75cm long and threaded at both ends. You've even mentioned it in your post, you lunatic.4 points

When I was in the scouts, I took part in a guard of honour royal Fergie at a local hospice. We'd been told the correct terms of address to her if she happened to ask us anything but it ended up going out the window. She was inside for about 30-45 minutes while we were standing outside in the pishing rain the whole time. When she eventually emerged, everyone was freezing. She was walking up the line and stopped to ask me if I was cold and I replied "Aye, gonnae hurry up." Tbf she did.4 points

Kuro has lost it in the Alex Salmond thread, claiming to have seen evidence of his innocence and they establishment are out to get him. He also seems to be trying to communicate partly in morse code.4 points

Weir funded the academy. When it looked like the club were going to be bought out by a company who were apparently going to make money by selling youth players at Barnsley and Thistle, Weir withdrew his backing. That looks like common sense to me. Hardly throwing the toys out the pram.4 points

A Scotsman, Irishman, Englishman and stunning blonde are sitting in a train carriage. The train goes through a tunnel and the carriage is plunged into darkness. Suddenly, a loud “smack” can be heard and when the train emerges into daylight, the Englishman is sitting holding his face which is now bright red. He thinks “someone must have touched up the blonde girl and she thought it was me” The Irishman thinks “he must have made a move on her and she’s slapped him, good on her” The blonde girl thinks “he must have tried to feel me up but got one of them instead, and they have smacked him” The Scotsman thinks “I can’t wait for another tunnel so I can thump that English c**t again”4 points

Nonce thread. Apparently, Colin Montgomerie shagged Professor Brian Cox in the back seat of a car Kuro was in, and Bob De Niro tipped him a fiver not to tell Pep Guardiola about it.4 points

No wonder he was grumpy, being quizzed by the bell boy on the age and sexual preferences of his companion. Cox probably warned Montgomerie not to engage with the weird porter.4 points

Very pleased with this news. Nothing is going to change dramatically in the short or even medium term and indeed personally I'd like to see the current BoD fill a number of positions on the interim board. There is a lot of experience there that would be a shame not to utilise. Again Partick Thistle have much to thank Colin Weir for. I think it is unfortunate to say the least that the change in Board was handled so badly that it led to Colin Weir initially walking away from the club. That incident aside I fail to understand the level of vitriol that some direct in Colin Weir's direction. IMO everything has ultimately worked out for the best. It's a real shame though that for a while it was all so bitter. I don't suppose it matters now but I'll forever question why and how the news of the initial consortium became public especially given that not a word, until very recently, came from them. I can't help but feel that some individuals were playing games with people and were distinctly less than honest in what they claimed to know. Onwards and upwards.4 points
