If you allow your football preference influence your political preference (or vice versa) then you shouldn’t be allowed to attend football or vote.25 points

They're about 10 years old. I honestly can't believe this is still in discussion. Let them bloody enjoy themselves and if you're not attending football because the noise is too loud then perhaps tennis is more your sport. Can you imagine going to a steward and saying "could you ask the Tartan Army to calm down with that drum?". You'd laughed out the stadium, yet here we are talking about compromise and drum lessons. A suitable code of acceptable conduct was even requested earlier. Here's one, come to the game, enjoy yourself, don't be a dick to others. Everyones happy.8 points

Seems to be mixed messages coming out of TFS. Some rumours are suggesting that ALL bids are now off the table/chased away by greed and others are saying at least 1 bid remains and is ongoing. Time for another update I think FFC....7 points

If you weren't permanently on "Send", you'd know. It's been explained at least 3 times on this thread very recently. Burton O'Brien - it's when a thread is going backwards and sideways but getting no further forward.7 points

Hearing from sources that Kearney was promised a 33% sell on fee windfall from the John McGinn transfer to Villa, and was disgusted to find out it was only 3%.6 points

It's good that there is clarity but the bottom club in a 16 team league should always be relegated regardless of what is going on. The pyramid needs more movement.6 points

Would be happy to accept £5/6 million from an English club for McKenna Celtic would need to pay £10 million Which they won’t Are Celtic even a big enough club for McKenna?6 points

Delighted we now have a permanent ‘holm’ Had to be plastic to get the grants, but seems to be a good surface and will serve the community well. Still a lot to be done but given time it’s gonna be a cracking ground for both home and visiting fans5 points

During the season, we generally just piss-fart around the lower regions of the bottom six. Then during the close season, break out the popcorn and play the closing ‘boom, boom, boom’ from Eastenders. We are certified box office gold and are once more crowned Scottish managerial crisis fuckwittery champions. Nine in a row, no less.5 points

Hang on. I thought we'd all fucking agreed we were signing strikers? What's with all this Dennon Lewis chat? If it's a joke it's no funny, and if it's genuine...it's no funny either.5 points

.....and judging by the flags at Ibrox, it’s hardly the Newton Mearns, Bearsden or Bridge of Allan Loyal that buy into it. It’s people from the very communities that the Tories thought nothing of decimating.....5 points

I got over the Turnbull to Celtic move quickly after the bid was first accepted, which was more than a week ago. As a fan, I would have always preferred him to go south to avoid playing against us, but the cash Celtic were paying was a good bit of business for us. Good luck to the lad. He signed a new deal in January when he could have picked up a bigger signing on fee by signing a pre contract and moving for buttons. He signed that deal, with the agreement that if a good offer was made for him then we would accept it. £3m is a massive amount of money for us. The amount of people losing their shit over the move is cringeworthy. I’ve seen everything from wishing him a broken leg to not renewing season tickets as it’s Celtic he is going to. Maybe I just don’t take things so seriously these days!5 points

Why do you bite? Every time someone has come back at you, you've bitten. Also, this daft notion about Falkirk fans being illiterate, is patter at its poorest. It's just throwing insults for the sake of it. Have a bit more decorum. The point to be made here initially was that everyone seems a bit obsessed with what Falkirk are doing these days. We've taken our ribbing for going down (good job). Yes, we deserved to go down, yes we poached the manager, yes it's a bit ironic and funny he got us relegated. I find it funnier that although all of this happened, we've still managed to attract a lot of Morton's players to a league lower. So, forgive us for giving some back.5 points

Making light of domestic abuse, which makes up a very large proportion of this countries recorded crimes of assault and murder is just as damaging to this country. Its not all about macro economics and money, it’s about the kind of country we become. Donald Trump has given the far right a breath of fresh air and Bannon has ensured that they have a direct line to the white house. Boris Johnson is every bit as bad and also linked to Bannon, its as important to highlight Trumps sexual harrassment, racism and sexism as it is to highlight Johnson’s domestic abuse, racism and incompetence. It should all form a bigger picture, saying its not important is wrong, because for the battered spouse in this country having an arsehole domestic abuser in high office is just as important an issue as having someone who shows contempt for the poor would have on the economically marginalised. The fact that Boris is both of these should be viewed as such and one shouldnt be seen as more important in identifying his unsuitability for office. If Johnson’s incident had happened in Scotland he would absolutely have been charged for it.4 points

'Bigoted view'... away and take your face for a shite with that patter. That's another reason why I dislike Celtic so much, because anyone who criticises them in any way is labelled as bigoted. That is complete nonsense and ironically, a bigoted view in itself. I have explained my reasons for disliking Celtic and all of them are perfectly reasonable and based on my own experience of them and their support.4 points

I have no idea what religion/mythical creature the founding fathers of my team Ross County worshipped and frankly I couldn't give a toss. In fact I've no idea what faith or religion the guys who sit around me are, I'd assume some/most were atheist but I don't know and again couldn't give a toss.4 points

Dieng is by far, the best keeper we've had in the air since Rab. Being 7ft made a difference but he was nowhere near awful, spilled a couple of shots in bad places but his all round game was very good (apart from one cross at Hamilton) and he took a lot of pressure off the defence. He'll have a better career than Dundee when a good coach works on a couple of wee things.4 points

Surprised so many people are giving it the "if he's fit and on form then he'll be a great signing" re: Fyvie. Does nobody think that's exactly what the DABs thought before us? If he was capable of being a top player in this league then they wouldn't be letting him go. Naive to think it'll be different for us IMO.4 points

Why are we in financial meltdown though? We spent a lot of money last season with payoffs etc but we took a lot more in than usual from prize money, telly money, Transfer fees and gate receipts. I don't believe for even a single second that we have gone from break even to the financial shitter in a year where all income increased significantly to offset increases in outgoings. And without warning, this financial meltdown rhetoric has simply come from nowhere. Its simply not logical. And not true. We may well have trimmed the budget again but I'd imagine that's into relation of how the budget ended up rather than how it started, given we were presumably well over budget last season all said and done. That does not equate to the club being financially fucked.4 points
