  3. We have retained the Calcutta Cup despite being 31-0 down at a place we haven’t won at since 1983. I’m not sad or annoyed. Just proud.

  4. Wise words indeed from the poster who once pretended that he had autism to try and win sympathy from the P and B masses. Get back in your box.

  5. Brilliant result, sorry we weren't much help to you in the Dundee & St Mirren games but it looks like you are doing it yourself anyway. Mon the Diddy Alliance plastic pitch teams.

  7. Lads, I was there. I can't decide if I'm happy or sad but I'm absolutely proud as f**k. I also represented the P&B boys when I shouted " FUCKING SHITEBAG VUNIPOLA" and he clearly heard me, then an English guy tried to give me a right good talking to about my obnoxious behaviour at the end. What a fucking game.

  9. So it’s been a while but it seems to hit you in waves when you least expect it or think you’re ‘over it’ or ‘getting there’. Been about 6 weeks or so now and although I’d say I’m fine overall, those times I’ve been on my own with nothing to do but think, pretty much suck. Also those times when you have company but let your mind wander or someone says something that takes you back, are pretty hard going. Don’t even know where I’m going with this but sometimes I think it would be good if those mind-wiping devices from Men In Black were real.

  12. I’ve enjoyed all 3 episodes but that was the best so far. The couch conversation is starting to feel much more natural as the guys get better in front of the cameras, and the addition of the match footage during the chats made a real difference. The two Duncan’s segments are proper laugh out loud funny, more of this please. As much as it pains me to say it...the Hearts song really is the best football song about.

  13. Without doubt Rose and Adams are our strongest central defenders. Bell is not in the same league. Muirhead is strong and hopefully he will develop as a player at Ayr but he was poor at Falkirk. As for Jamie being a bombscare - well what nonsence as before his injury he was a rock in our defence. Also, why would anyone want our best full back playing out of position. Liam Smith who has been immense is a RB and not a LB. Get behind whatever team is selected and we can grab 3 pts today. We are due to give Queens a doing.

  15. Too little has been made of this IMO. We had the P&B A Team going to Embra mob-handed and getting their collective arses felt but trying to turn tragedy in to triumph by making a cup round out of the questions they failed to answer. Meanwhile, the real Don Quixote of our thread saunters in to a pub in The Sneck and wins actual silverware assisted by some teuchter Sancho Panza who was probably too drunk to know what a windmill was, far less how one tilts at it.

  18. Eddie here is spot on. You won't forget, but eventually you'll get to a point where you don't think about your loss every day. You'll feel guilty for not thinking about it or "forgetting" for a while when you do remember, but that will pass too. People that haven't dealt with this kind of loss will struggle to understand or think that it's easier to get over because you never met your baby - and you're allowed to punch these people in the face. In your head, you met them, you gave them a face and a personality, you imagined a future and then it was gone. There are plenty here that do understand and you should talk about your grief, it's an important part of the process. Yes, others will focus on your wife, but you need support too. When I miscarried while with my first husband, my mum and sister flapped around me. My dad took my husband aside and gave him a huge hug. My parents had been there too, my dad knew what he needed, and there are dads on here too that will understand what you're dealing with. Please come back here and post if you need an outlet. It's sadly common, but not talked about enough, especially where dads are concerned.

  29. I reckon they’ve got the balance about right in the studio now which was definitely the biggest area requiring improvement. Segments all worked, I like the social media updates and all the features have been tremendous so far. I hope @The Real Saints gets the call to do Fair Maid at the end of one of the episodes before the end of the season. I said this after episode two, but I hope they get the chance to carry on with this into next season. BBC deserve a lot of credit for taking a chance with this and the guys behind the show have repaid that faith with some top quality content.

  30. Hey again folks didn’t want to clog this up with all my Cheltenham stuff and there wasn’t to much from anyone else so just left it till today. Overall at Cheltenham it was a good meeting for me. 4 x 50 bets I had for the 4 days with Defi De Seul my only winner sadly. On day 1 my tip was a non runner and my replacement pick was 4th well back though. Day 2 Battleoverdoyen pulled up and yesterday saw Gardens of Babylon finish 3rd. A double of Frodon and Paisley Park on day 3 capped off a wonderful day and yesterday 3 singles on Hazel Hill, Early Doors and Ch’tibello left me with an overall profit of £314. 69. I honestly think that’s the first time I’ve came away from Cheltenham with a decent result. It was this time last year I moaned about about the standard of the Saturday race being pish then tipped the outsider at 22/1 who indeed cantered it. I was looking last night at the possibility of Solstice Star but since it worked last year I am takin the outsider Dr Robin. It runs fine on heavy, it likes the course, it’s nicely weighted and has a good claimer on its back. Ticks all the same boxes as last years selection so why not. 3 miles in the mud could easily turn out to be a battle of nutrition. My only concern is the fav is very well weighted too. Best of luck people as always and a big mention to jagfox and Frodon. I’m not surprised your on nearly perfect best of luck mate

Play off spot firmly in our own hands so lets back the team! Heading up to Arbroath today, forecast isn't great and I'll be more than happy with a point! Mon the Fife

  39. Well Below Average Intelligence, I have not heard anyone at Broadwood being racist. If I did, I would point them out, no problem with that. As for the Love situation, many thought he should have been sacked if found guilty. The fact that he wasn’t did not sit comfortably with me and others. However it’s history now and frankly I’ve moved on with my life ! Youve led a very sheltered life if you think we’ve the most despicable support in the country ! Every club has an element who behave less than responsibly at times. I even witnessed one or two idiots following Edinburgh City at Broadwood recently. To make a sweeping statement and call our support (who have followed the club through some terrible times and yet still travel to support the team in numbers, putting to shame the following enjoyed by every other club in the league), despicable says more about you my friend than our support.
