  3. Gerrard's "We're a class above Aberdeen" remark at the start of the season, followed by three defeats in Glasgow to them, including being fucked out of both cups. Absolute peak banter years stuff there

  4. There’s a meeting next week between the eosl and ersjfa management committees I believe. Requested by the eosl. A think this is a positive step and congratulate the eosl for getting everyone round the table at a level below the PWG. Be great if both organisations can work together and resolve the current complete mess and come up with a consolidated pyramid structure under one organisation.

  7. Watched the highlights and Morelos should have had multiple bookings. There were at least 4 dives, the first of which he was booked for. He also made the 'card' motion to the ref to try and get an Aberdeen player booked. That used to be a booking. He's cowardly scum and the type you'd absolutely love to see take a kicking.

  8. So that's Connahs Quays made more national cup finals than Rangers have in the last 2 years.

  10. I don’t doubt it, I could probably write a snappy ditty about it myself if I was that way inclined. I find the one about wanting to know when Ryan Jack’s going to die pretty crass, although I do enjoy barking JU!-DAS! in the middle of it. BUT ENOUGH ABOUT SINGING SONGS, BACK TO THE DANDY DONS There’s a touch of the renaissance paintings in this one. Biblical.

  11. The whole of Lochgilphead is delighted for Kieran, getting his rewards for a lot of travelling and dedication now. Hopefully a few more goals before the end of the season and great news that he's getting another year at least.

  13. That’s a very closed view prior to any discussion glad you won’t be at the table lol. For me we will only get anywhere if we forget about eosl and ersjfa and look at what’s the best scenario for non league football in the east of Scotland. An all encompassing pyramid including tayside teams should be the goal. How we run it and how we get there should be the discussion.

  14. Indeed, the entire Rangers-Celtic rivalry is just an excuse for weak people who have utterly failed in life to find an all-powerful evil conspiracy to use as a scapegoat for their own inadequacy.

  15. I am a committed pyramid supporter and I have said before that I would like to see ALL clubs in the pyramid with a clear path of progression. But this obsession with not having to travel further than the end of the road really annoys me. Even with Glenrothes in the EOS St Andrews will have a minimum 20 mile journey for every game next season but we don't make a song and dance about it. Clubs should be looking to progress on and off the pitch as we are trying to do and creating a couple of wee local leagues isn't progression. But clubs shouldn't be moving to the EOS just to avoid travelling a few miles. JC1, any answers to the questions re 2nd new team, pyramid and Breadalbane?

  17. I have had a bit of a grudge against Aberdeen since someone threw a mutton pie at me during a match at Pittodrie. However- I am now prepared to draw a line under this unsavoury incident. Well done.

  18. Just home, some of the maddest conditions I’ve ever driven in coming back. First 20 minutes falkirk got absolutely battered by county, I thought it was going to be another trouncing. Falkirk then came more and more into the game, missed a couple of good chances in the first half. Second half falkirk had county pinned back for large periods of the game without really creating many clear chances. The last 10 minutes was every county player in their own box kicking the ball in any direction to get rid of it with falkirk piling on the pressure. If falkirk got that penalty 10 minutes earlier then I would have been confident of an equaliser, maybe even a winner.

  19. Just in from Ibrox. I had to buy a ticket from Rangers to get to see the match, and that made it all the sweeter. I had to obviously keep utterly schtum throughout, but it was great seeing their fans in action from close up. We scored our second with half an hour to go, but the moment it went in, at least half a dozen around me left. They were streaming out with 10 minutes to go. Great seeing the guys really enjoying themselves in the corner at the other end. What a result! And it was magnificent how we managed to get eight separate players booked only once. One of my best days out at Ibrox.

  22. Morelos and McGregor are the worst kind of players happy to dish it out stamping on folk trying to break people's legs but can't take anything back, utterly embarrassing when no contact is made and they go away crying to the ref almost so desperately that he has to stop the game.

  24. That season was abject misery. Football that was eye-bleedingly bad to watch. But we closed it off by spending 180 minutes ragdolling Rangers and tbh I wouldn't change it for the world.

  27. Problem with The Peepul is they are really bad losers. They can't stand it. All the sectarian guff is ok if they are winning but soon as they lose it's all a religious/sectarian conspiracy.. which is great because the tears and snotters are great to watch.

  28. Bates came in and played the last couple of games and did well. Forming an exciting young partnership with McKenna. He's a key player for hamburg who have just won their league to go back into the bundesliga. Why in the name of God are people wanting him dropped for a past it Charlie Mulgrew??

  29. Are you seriously suggesting the exodus has been sparked by a few posters on an internet forum? If any club committee base major decisions on the future of their clubs on some posts on P&B, serious questions need to be asked...

  30. Teams will play each other 3 times. This should be the end of any pyramid discussions re the East Juniors. Good luck to every club who takes the decision to play in this set up but it's clear that the motives are not consistent with teams looking to push on or develop. Leave them to it.

  31. Will it? I'm a Whitburn man and I won't be back to Central Park until they are in the pyramid. This is a backward step and a half, what a farce!!

  33. As said, if the club thinks that's right, that's what you'll need to do. But I think you will regret this as I just can't see this league having any appeal. This all due to some misplaced loyalty to a "grade"...
