  1. I just got the all clear from my oncologist , I'll be followed up for a few years but for the time being I have no cancer. It's a massive bloody relief . Thanks to all for their kind words and a couple of guys who have been in a similar situation on P&B who were kind enough to PM me with advice and messages of support. I will take the weekend off P&B to enjoy my weekend with Mrs Romeo. Cheers. ETA...feel free to PM me personal abuse if/when killie gub Celtic [emoji6]

  5. Another joy of a SUPERLEAGUE is there can be no arguments about which is the best team. Are Dundee better than Dundee Utd this season? What about Falkirk and Arbroath? No such problem when you put everyone in the same league. Congratulations to MSU who wins his Lucky 13th league - and a SUPERLEAGUE to boot. DublinMagyar is 2nd ... so it's 1 .. 2 for the ex-pats. Not much else to say except Welshbairn are Peasy23 are in a play-off for the last Premiershit place. Tempted to do a question on Tekken (the Angel in question was taken from that game) since Welshbairn was the only player to get it right ... but I won't. I think Slippers is somewhat waylaid this weekend so I will ask the play-off question .... So for @welshbairn and @peasy23 only ... Dobbies Garden Centres has revealed that Saturday 8th December is officially ‘Bring Your Christmas Tree Home Day’. ... a more pointless futile self-serving "Day" you could never hope to find. But the question is ... how many Dobbie's Garden Centres are there currently in the UK? It's a shite question for a shite day. And in P+B Quizmas Cup News... I can exclusively reveal that the teams in this season's blue riband cup competition will be "The Old Guard" vs "The Young Whippersnappers" and will be another Ride-her Cup type-affair .... it will kick off on Monday 17th December and there are 48 teams taking part so far ...

  7. The colts teams + assorted useful idiots League 3 is a terrible idea, and I've not spoken to a single person who thinks it's anything other than that. Which means it's probably nailed on for next season.

  8. Decent interview with Paton a lot more refreshing to hear than the usual pish we listen to from Sammut, Lewis etc etc.

  9. Good advert for the Junior game. Both teams tried to get the ball down and play football. Rossvale were very impressive and Vics no 2 stood out for me.

  13. It is not a change to the badge or the name that will bring in new supporters the only thing that will do that is an improvement on the park.

  14. The assumption that if you are not a fan of the festive season, or get waayyy carried away with it sometime in november, that you're some type of scrooge or whatever. Some of us are just sensible enough not to fall for the yearly flannel and enjoy it for what it is. Time off work to have a good time. How we choose to do that is none of your fucking business so away and put far too many christmas lights up in your garden and be sure to post pictures of them on all your soshul meedja outlets to somehow 'prove' that your doing it so much better than everyone else. Yay!!!! Christmas

  20. Took this game in today, as it looked to be a cracker. I’m not too sure the ref bought into anything BSC we’re doing, but when you have two players making rash challenges they give the ref a decision to make. I thought BSC dominated most of the game, and Kelty can have no complaints.

  21. Hats off to Jeanfield and Broxburn for earlier deciding to bring forward today's game 30mins to 1:30pm ko. Having been delayed 30-40mins for bad injury (ambulance needed) it thus finished instead of likely being abandoned for darkness? Hopefully injured Broxburn striker isn't badly hurt.

  23. Felt like a bump, and afterall who'll stop me? Whitehill's prospects grew grimmer after Dalbeattie won at Edinburgh Uni... Rosewell men 6pts adrift and Star have 1 game-in-hand. Big wins for Newtongrange and Hill of Beath over Musselburgh and Penicuik today (latter losing their 100% and unbeaten record) has Conference A's top 4 separated by only 4pts. Bonnyrigg and Dundonald look likely to wrestle for B but maybe Tranent can reel them in using games-in-hand. Jeanfield's win over Broxburn lifts them into 2nd but again there are 4 challengers separated by only 6pts. 24. Rossvale scored at important times when on top, 2nd goal in particular sealed it. Agreed both teams tried to play football and Rossvale good value for their win. Made very welcome on a dreadful day , shame about the lack of support but with no shelter there's little chance of neutrals pitching up today.

  25. I agree. There may well be a large percentage of our fans who hope/dream of a return to Glasgow, but I doubt very much that it is a majority percentage. It was made very clear that cash flow is under pressure and that if we are serious about moving up the leagues, we need to increase revenue streams. If including our Geographic location on our badge helps bring on board new partners/sponsors from the local business community and helps locals to identify with us more easily, then bring it on. It may ultimately not help much, but it can certainly do no harm. It is, to my mind, nothing like changing the name and I certainly don't see it as the thin edge of any wedge. I was, and am, vehemently opposed to any name change, and I am as proud of the Club's history as the next man, but I also want to see CLYDE F C moving forward on and off the park. Cumbernauld is our home for the foreseeable future, so let's do everything we can to make it work for us without compromising our identity.

  31. H_B’s trolling attempts [emoji23] what an absolute oddball. Good to see the WBC have ordered an immediate rematch. May / June at Old Trafford would be tremendous. More importantly though, nearly a year to the day since I had the honour and privilege of watching boxing’s P4P best put on a masterclass at MSG, the absolute top boy is on again tomorrow night and likely to unify the lightweight division. Pedraza’s height and reach might get him an early advantage, but fully expect Lomachenko to have worked his way inside within 3 or 4 rounds and then to systematically break him down. Absolutely love any opportunity to see the genius at work.
