Thanks guys. Last night was a bit better and when I say bit I mean fucking miles better. She told me downstairs she didn't want to go to bed and had to sleep on the floor so I just said ok and went with it. Arranged her duvet and a pillow on the floor for her before we went up and said it's bed time. She said "no it's not bed time it's floor time" which I had to laugh at. Anyway, went into her room and when she saw the pillow and duvet on the floor she was over the moon and crawled in said night night and gave me a kiss and let me leave the room straight away. Slept right through to 9am this morning. Ok, she's not in her bed, but it's a step forward from the meltdowns and needing me to stay. If she keeps that up a few days then I think eventually she will be happy enough to go back into the bed. I've also ordered a gro clock and will see about a sticker chart but she's in a far better mood this morning and early days but seems back to her more "normal" self this morning. I can live with her kipping on the floor for a wee while, I just couldn't afford the time it took to stay in her room and get her to go to sleep, too much going on for that. A wee step back in the right direction hopefully. In other news Fraser doing brilliantly and probably be home in a couple of weeks. Hannah onto day 12 of chemo and whilst she's knackered and struggling to sleep due to some side effects she's tackling it head on.

The SFA don't really care and to be honest, don't have a full grasp of the situation. Personally speaking for my club, having all the clubs around us playing within the Pyramid but unable to play them as they are members of a seperate league would be bad for us. We want to play them within the same Pyramid league structure, Broxburn being unable to face Pumpherston for example makes no sense and benefits neither, same with us and Whitburn. If we agree to that, then there is no guarantee that will ever change and we continue with an artifical divide which the Pyramid is supposed to blow away, but this time the divide goes right through West Lothian and Fife. It needs to be oppossed in the strongest possible terms. We need to get this right straight from the start.

I despise Paul Hartley for what’s he’s done to the club I love however it’s gross negligence from the board to have sat back and let this happen. We are going down this season without a doubt. It’s unrealistic for anyone to think we have a chance after January. That would mean replacing a whole team and the new players to gel and hit the ground running immediately. It’s not going to happen. Its fucking devastating to watch this happen.

I'd forgotten to reply to this in the wake of H_B's pish last night. If anything the negative impact of UC is under-reported. It's a fucking dreadful system which set up to make claimants fail from the outset. A few of the common issues we come up against in my line of work: Self Employment - Application of minimum income floor. If you have a quiet few weeks your UC calculation will still be based on you earning £274 per week, even if you're nowhere near that. Sickness - If your GP signs you off sick, you can still be compelled to spend 35 hours per week looking for work, entirely on the whim of your work coach. The waiting period - it's been reduced to 5 weeks, however most people realistically will need to take out a UC advance to survive. This means for the next 12 months your UC will effectively be below the minimum amount the Government decides you need to live on. Significant chance of incurring rent arrears during the waiting period as well. Processing errors can take weeks, even months to sort out. Eg if an employer reports a wage wrongly through TRI, or a work coach makes a mistake on a case it's nigh on impossible for third parties like CAB, Welfare Rights etc to assist as UC service centres won't allow them to act on claimants' behalf, unless they are physically with them. Terminally Ill - Despite DWP's insistence otherwise, the process for terminally ill claimants is still hard to follow, strewn with errors and processing times are shamefully long. Eg numerous claimants die before ever getting money. Those are just a handful off the top of my head. Additionally, rumour has it that lots of UC processing staff, work coaches and case managers are going for jobs at the new Scottish Social Security Service instead, leaving an already overstretched service well and truly in the shit. Resulting in further delays to claims, more errors being made and less being resolved. It's a disgrace and a fucking shambles and it absolutely boils my piss to see cuntresses like Esther McVey and Kirstene Hair stand up and say how great is and how it's helping people back into work. It's not, it's actually dissuading people from self employment, punishing the disabled who want to try and work and giving folk a stark choice between shit minimum wage jobs and foodbanks (often the two combine). It's an utter shitshow.

No, I think they have been tricked into looking down on others. This is correct. It's an attitude I come across a lot in my job (I work in Welfare Rights) and it's virtually inescapable on social media. Hell it's even in my family My parents were never what could be considered middle class, and indeed my old man was pretty much a socialist in the 80s having suffered through Thatcher's destruction of heavy industry. They're now both hardline Tories and won't hear a word against them. Every single minor life inconvenience is the fault of "Sturgeon" and they can't stand Corbyn. Any visit to them invariably contains a snide reference to "how many folk have you helped get benefits this week then?" Reminding them that State Pension is a benefit is usually a good laugh, and for added seethe I occasionally chuck in the estimated monetary gains for my month's appeal wins Even worse are my bird's family. Won't have any criticism of Theresa May and the tories. She's recently failed a PIP assessment despite having a long term brain injury and shitloads of side effects. We visited her parents the other week not long after she got the decision letter and were subjected to a long rant about it being the SNP's fault. I can only assume this is for failing to protect her from the party her mum actually votes for. Tory welfare reform has cause actual financial hardship to members of her family and still they champion the fucking tories. Mental. In my experience, by far the worst demographic for looking down on benefit claimants are (ironically) pensioners. I'll never forget having to deal with a ranting pensioner in my old job who was absolutely boiling at not getting Council Tax Reduction despite having £400,000 savings and two other properties he rented out. He genuinely thought he should get it for simply being a pensioner and duly ticked every cliched box, ie "I've paid in all my years", "immigrants and junkies get all the benefits", "what about all those syrian refugees?". Just an old c**t, sadly there are many more who hold similar, bullshit views.

Listened to it on the drive up the road this morning. Was excellent. Didn’t think he came across as fragile to be honest, quite the opposite, sounded like someone that had come out the other side of something horrendous and was all the stronger and grateful for it. Definitely worth a listen.

The lower end of the LL must be worried about what they could get relegated into. Quite a few of them must know that the clubs who'll be coming up in future years will more than hold their own and they'll struggle to get back up if they do go down, so they ought to be fairly concerned about this.

On personal level I joined the Dee4life group, donated and helped fundraise in the early days. As a collective the fans asked for, and got a rep on the board. Unfortunately he turned out to be a useless c**t. What do you reckon we should have done?

I'm not particularly a person that really likes programmes at football but I looked at the ones we used to get and thought I could do better than that. When our printer(and the designer of the previous programme) was on holiday at the start of the season I'd already suggested we do the design in-house and get it printed locally. They asked me can you do it for us and we've went from there. There's been a great reception to it so far from everyone I've talked to especially the players and the manager and it gives me another job to do at the football. They are good skills to learn. You can pick up a massive amount from Youtube videos. Just start off with tutorials and use football players instead of images that they use and you'll create some excellent images.

The "no, me neither" comment is just another way of saying "I am completely ignorant of teams and players outwith Celtic and Rangers because I am a lazy, ignorant, useless c**t".
