  5. Most astonishing turnaround I’ve seen in all my years of watching East Fife.I believe most fans including me wanted Darren Young out.I will say he handled the criticism flung at him very well. still believe he would have lost his job at most clubs. He now has his own players in and got rid of some fans favourites.Frankly that is as good an East Fife team as I’ve seen for years and Darren Young and his back room team with the players deserve all the credit.

  6. larkhall 0-2 neilston much needed win against spirited larkhall team we hit woodwork 4 times and there goalie was a busy man but he stood firm and wee missed some big chances credit to larky mind u they came out the 2nd half fight and our goalie had two cracking saves don’t like to comment much on other teams ... if they tighten up they will pick up points cos were bit of circus at dealing with long balls... there big 9 was a handful and going forward played some neat stuff all the best and fair play to all at club for sticking by them

  8. The thing is Billy Dodds is all about the integrity allegedly. So it’s really an integrity issue that he believes he can vote to kill a company off and then later, hopes to start earning a wage back at the company he voted to kill off. Where’s his integrity there? He may be a good coach or not but ultimately it’s bigger than that. Many people suffer through an admin, people like Dodds who lose jobs, people who are due money, the fans. Dodds acts like he was the only one affected, many Dundee fans did loads to keep the club going when he voted to end it all. It was there second time having to do it! Then the same people who dedicated the time, the money, the emotion to keep things going are expected to welcome him back who went against everything the fans tried to do! It’s just so fundamentally wrong! Yet him and his journos pals are like, need to move on. No. Plenty of good coaches out there and to be frank, if McIntyre has to have him, well in my mind, there are plenty of other managers of mcintyres ability about. (This isn’t meant to be a rant at you personally forkboy, just frustration at the situation and media) So to sum up. f**k Dodds and f**k any journalist who says Dundee fans need to get over it.

  9. Billy we don't care if you have or don't have a grudge against Dundee supporters. What you need to clock is that we cannot have a man who voted to effectively liquidate the business - you were, of course perfectly entitled to vote that way - and then turn up as if you had not taken that line. At the time of course you had a clear conscience as you said and that's fine too. I can't remember what you said when Rangers were liquidated. Would you have voted the same way had you been owed money? Football is a mercenary game and you have been one of its greatest mercenaries for many clubs, where your loyalties are devoted to the money as a professional sportsman. No issue with that either. But for us poor b*****ds that support our club through thick, thin, disgraceful management that resulted in administration, years of pish off and in the park, our loyalty is to DFC and if your vote had been successful you wouldn't even have had the sniff of a job at Dens! The irony is too much. Good luck to Jim.

  10. Had a good chat with Kennie today at the game I really like his style going to different games and being approachable. I just wanted to tell him that I thought he was doing a good job and how much easier it's been for the supporters club to get things arranged in advance. Ended up chatting about a few different things but the thing that struck me was his open and honest approach and replies to the questions asked and how it's clear he has the club's and the game at heart. So once again Kennie keep the good work and thank you.

  13. You are correct and I’m not defending them if they were being wee dicks because the older guys that go are not there as babysitters. They have been told that. What I would say though if you were standing closer to the Darvel ones you couldn’t have heard everything the dalry ones were saying. The young ones are good for the game and at some point yes they will probably end up getting a slap and that goes for all young teams , there’s always somebody bigger. On another point , great gesture by dalry to offer all kids free snacks.

  14. Make the protests big enough so they're impossible to ignore and people will be reminded that there is an alternative, and will swing the polls and push the politicians into action if they want to save their jobs. Apathy is corrosive to democracy.

  15. They all want to start it acting the big baws but when challenged about it the give it but am only sixteen. Well son 16 is an adult in the eyes of the law so you deserve all you get. And before anyone starts (not u GOTW) i would say it about our fans but guess what our fans police themselves and most know the score.

  16. As bobbykdy said it's completely understandable and a normal reaction for such dreams to upset you. Grieving is a process and it takes time, you'll have days were you are fine and days were seemingly minor things make you upset. The important thing is not to consider breaking down and crying as a negative thing, because it's part of the process. If you need to cry or take some time to be alone then do that. Take care, and if you ever want to talk about anything then feel free to message.

  18. Ok well before his eminence post a final league tables and confines me to the dreggs of the quizzing society, it's time for the 1st round of the (still to be sponsored) P&B cup. The draw was made about 5 minutes ago under the watchful eye of a very experienced and independent adjudicator (my 9 month old daughter). The 1st round will include everyone in a 2 legged tie (there will be 3 ties with 3 teams). The winners of each tie will progress to the champions cup with the losers progressing to the highly prestigious losers shield (in the ties with 3 teams only 1 will progress to the champions cup, no losers allowed). In the event of a draw there will be a tie break question to determine the winner. Anyway I'm sure you are all wanting to know the draw. Goober Bud v Leeds Saint Ross. 20. After taking 31 points out of 33 to start the season, you could be forgiven for expecting to be more than 3 points clear at the top. However, by this time next week the gap could be zero, as we're on cup duty and Benburb have a home league game against Dalry which on current form they should win. The important thing for me at this stage, though, is where we are in relation to 4th place, with the top three getting automatic promotion. As far as that goes, it's been not a bad opening 11 games.

  25. Completely understandable, you have had a hellish time of it losing both parents in a short space of time. You will learn to live with it eventually but in the meantime try not to stress too much as you can end up making yourself ill. Get out and do things you enjoy to try to take your mind off it. All the best.

  28. Just for comparisons sake, I picked up another friend on Monday and we just went a drive and talked nonsense. I had not seen him for about three months prior to this (not for any particular reason, we were both just busy) and there was no mention of the fact that we hadn't seen each other for such a time. Why is this? Normal functioning adults are capable of not seeing each other for a long time and then meeting again and getting on as if there was never any absence. Narcissists are parasitic and constantly need people to feed off of.

  32. Wait a minute...the guy who was making a huge deal out of the fact that he would not be returning to a Sons game again, because he was berated for hoping we lose to a Stevie Aitken managed team is returning tomorrow? I am shocked by this news. Not for one minute did I have his resignation from supporting us down as an act of attention seeking. Nope. Not for one moment.
