  3. Ive got an English auntie who responded to some post before the brexit ref ‘if we can come together and win ww2 we can make brexit work’. Shes a moron but this is reflective of the mindset of many brexiteers, there is absolutely no logic in their belief. Its the same as the people in the parts of the UK like wales which benefit most from EU membership voting against it for some reason, do they really think that Westminster will actually give them anywhere near the same regional funding as the EU? Then the people who think Brexit will lead to better trade deals, does the fact big industry like Airbus, Rolls Royce, Jaguar/Landrover/BMW and many others not ring alarm bells? Even the basics of economy of scale suggest a bigger market will get a better trade deal, the concessions which we will be forced to accept for even a terrible trade deal with the US (like accepting inferior meat and poorer unsafe childrens toys etc) is anything but a good deal. Yet blue passports. Any person who still wants Brexit is a moron.

  5. Well he's not playing tonight, and even if it's true it's not necessarily the end of his Dundee career. You can't realistically expect someone with his complex issues to encounter absolutely no setbacks or relapses whatsoever. Send him home, sit down with him once the management return, discuss it, re-establish some rules, discipline him if warranted, and move on. McCann said he wanted to be supportive, so DFC can hardly play absolutes with Caulker while standing behind McGowan despite repeated misdemeanours.

  6. ... and to really blow your mind, as well as the shock pad being "tarmac coloured", the rubber pellets spread across the playing surface on completion are - wait for it - "grass coloured" (ie. green ), not black....

  10. The worst thing about this incident isn't actually the Celtics excruciatingly epic not getting it and victim blaming It's you c***s. Crowing like f**k in between your Boyne celebrations, spitting on priests and wanking yourself to death over an orange top. f**k directly off back under your rock, please and thank you.

  12. Who gives a f**k about Hartlepool fans. The Scottish Championship is a completely different level to the National League down south so they’re opinion about him is completely irrelevant to us. Scott Flinders went directly to Hartlepool after us and ended up making way over 200 appearances for them over 6 years. I’d imagine most of their fans would have a good opinion of him despite him being fucking dreadful for us and up there with one of the worst ‘keepers I’ve seen play for us.

  13. Shire went down to Hawick last year, on a Saturday night, as part of the groundhopping weekend, it was great! Got down to Hawick early, roasting hot day, drinking in the sunshine on the outside tables........like being at the World Cup! Still missed the kick off, mind you, over indulging a bit and it got a wee bit nippy in the shorts and t-shirts by the time the game was underway. Groundhoppers are always looking for club merchandise, so a good chance to cash in. If you're really smart and embrace the weekend, you could to team up with Dunipace and Camelon, supporting each others games, plenty time to organise and save up for it. Shire have a free week that weekend as it's a date set aside to get rearranged games played, so hopefully, we get a home game on the Saturday and I can get to all the games. I'm sure other Shire fans would support it. Falkirk are away to Inverness on the Saturday so you could invite their fans too. Make it a local groundhopping day within the larger scheme.

  14. For the record, I never really boo anyone because a grown man standing going 'Booooooooo' seems odd to me. I will shout abuse if I feel it is warranted however, but I ensure it is not racist abuse. Stringer Bell is my favourite character on The Wire.

I once had someone come and complain I wasn't sending read receipts and it looked like I wasn't even getting them. When I showed I could read and delete without it ever going to received I thought she was going to cry

  17. He had eight goals by Christmas and was I think their top scorer at that point. Then they signed Hardie / Miller and suddenly decided to punt him out on loan to Brechin. For whom he scored against Falkirk, incidentally. He's the big target man we all wanted and is coming here with something to prove. That'll do for me.

  23. Ffs, how would most people react if they had been proven to be racially abused by a group of people then continued to be abused, racially or otherwise, by the same group of people? Why would you not have a me versus them mentality? There are certainly people who come out of this not looking good but Logan is way down that list. Who has his behaviour had an adverse effect of empathy on? Celtic fans, that's it. The shifting of the blame on here to Logan is exactly how Celtic have played it from the start and what has filtered down to their fans.

  25. "It probably doesn’t help yourself if you walk about after the game and make all sorts of gestures." Doesn't matter what you think about Shay Logan, that ^ is a fucking stupid thing to say. Classic victim blaming language. Gestures excuse racial abuse? Amateur stuff from someone who must have had media training. Embarrassing. How about: "We love a bit of rivalry, and Shay knows he can give as well as he can take but, we draw the line at racial and sectarian abuse. That is totally unacceptable and we'll deal with any fan found to be using such language. In any circumstances. I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise to Shay and Aberdeen FC for this repeat, regrettable incident." That would have been a 2 star clubs response. Criticisms that also commonly fall into the category of victim blaming: Reporting things too late Reporting things too soon Reporting things Not reporting things Reporting things wrongly Speaking to the press about it Not speaking to the press about it Having "a history" I hope this clears things up. #WeAreAllShayLogan

  32. I think this nails it for me. Kane can do a job as a bit part player at times, Gary Fraser could go with a month long deal to cover us through the League Cup games, but if either of them are getting any great deal of game time for us this season we're gonna be struggling. If our aim is to be challenging for the league, which the vast majority of people connected to the club (including players/ management) believe is the case, then we have to be adding 3/4 additional quality players to this squad, and I'm sure we will do in time

  38. Most fast food is utter rubbish. £15 for a pizza is the one that gets me. You can get a decent one from a supermarket with fresher ingredients for £2. They are the sort of people at work when you ask for a recommendation for a restaurant tell you they went out and had a fantastic meal at Frankie & Benny's / TGI / Chiquito / Bella Italia No you went out to a chain restaurant barely better than McDonalds or Burger King where the majority of food is pre-prepared offsite then frozen and delivered in portions for reheating or mocrowaving. You can eat OK at these places if that is the options available but you cannot have a fantastic meal at these places. It is mass produced, cheapest ingredients possible product.

  41. Two years ago we were all certain that he would play in the Premiership sooner or later, but a mixture of him bulking up and slowing down and Duffy messing around with his position led to a very patchy 18 months. I think he's a good left back at Championship level, and he has shown the potential to be so much more, but will need to do some serious work to get back to where he was. Some Morton fans have been a bit unfair on him in recent times. He has been excellent in his (few) appearances at left back over the the last few months, but Duffy mostly played in in midfield (where he hasn't shown to be at all capable) which has left a negative impression. If you're looking for an understudy at left back and a bit of a project to get the most out of his potential, then he could be the right signing for a club like St Johnstone.

  44. We've been linked with a youth striker from Middlesborough along with Falkirk and St Mirren. Agents definitely leaking the story in the hope he doesn't have to come to any of those clubs. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/07/09/por-scottish-trio-eye-boro-striker-armstrong-on-loan/ I'd post it in the Falkirk thread but I ken you're all watching, perverts x
