  2. Hello Falkirk FC fans. I recorded a podcast with Rory Loy, who talks very highly of his time at the club, from joining them in 2013 to missing out on the league title, to the Scottish Cup final appearance, to his return to the Bairns 12 months ago. I think you'll all enjoy it. You can listen to it HERE.

  4. All titles and cups won during the EBT years be declared void. Official statement that the current club is a different entity from the one formed in 1872. Any office bearers at the old club to be declared Not Fit and Proper. You know, common sense stuff based on actual reality.

  7. An entire 4 youth players who had fines against them. You will be delighted to know they have since been paid before the news broke and that we are still doing just fine. Is Perth really that boring you have to read up on the only big team in Tayside? Tommy Wright was probably the one who reported it.

  8. Stick to writing storylines for Dennis the Menace in the Beano, that's about your limit. IMO.

  11. Picture the scene : It’s the 31st of October 2018. Hearts are playing Hibs at Tynecastle. It’s the last minute and the score is locked at nil-nil. Hibs have a free kick 25 yards out. I’ve already been thrown out the ground for singing songs about Rudi Skacel and Wallace Mercer. Mallan steps up. Goal.

  28. since the early bird stopped we've been selling on average 10 season tickets a day...doesn't sound great however if that continues till the league starts we won't be far shy of the 3000 target. I think we'll end up about the 2700 mark I think equalling last season's total has to be considered a success after finishing 8th but it would be nice to get closer to 3000.

  30. Being somewhat over dramatic there IMO. A quick look at the other teams threads accross the leagues and just about every team still seem to be short of a couple of players according to their fans. It's 8 days until the League Cup (which in the absence of Killie in the group this year for me is basically just a set of 'competitive warm up games) starts and more than 4 weeks until the properly important stuff starts, far too early to be claiming 'shambles' etc.

  32. Get the 4-5-1 to f**k! Another season with a lone striker isolated up top on his own with little/no support won't cut it for me or many others. Play offs have to be our aim!

  33. As the World Cup has shown, Messi only performs when he's surrounded by top class players so even Lionel couldn't help you chaps escape that league.

  34. Try and imagine the SNP never won in 07, and imagine an alternate history where the Scottish "executive" was run in perpetuity by Labour. It'd be like a parish council on a Sunday afternoon, forever. Even your concept of a devolved parliament intent on "improving" Scotland is based on hard won gains by the SNP, to transform what was a glorified council into something capable of delivering that change, both in terms of it's legal remit but also in terms of it's moral dimension. That Holyrood is a significant player in Scottish affairs, that it is seen as a government in it's own right is largely the work of the SNP. Scottish Labour would have been content to f**k about with minor bills for ever, in the hope of one day graduating from MSP to MP to the Lords.

  37. More so than I ever have. I've been a major critic of McCann but with you lot, St Mirren and Livi in the league next year he's really got a free pop this season. The following season will be the one where it'll be top 6 or bust for me in regards to him, but I like the way he's building us. I love the way he riles opposition up. I love the way he fucking ragdolled Tommy Wright and made him look like a complete bumbling moron. But most of all, most of all, I love the way he moves. Seriously though, most of all, I fucking love when a manager cultivates an 'us against the world' mentality. It gets ripped to shreds on the likes of P&B and other Internet forums but it makes for a cracking atmosphere at times.

  39. Thoroughly enjoying the way Stubbs is managing to turn some of our fans into even bigger foaming frothballs than normal. They moan we haven't signed anyone, then moan when he signs three guys in 24 hours because they haven't heard of him. They moan that the squad wasn't good enough last season (just the 12 points clear when we won it), then moan when he tries to get rid of some of said squad. Keep it up Alan

  40. Great player. You should sign him up on a 3 year contract immediately.

  41. I've been thinking that too. Only problem is.... would Messi sign for a club who have so utterly dominated , (some might even say humiliated) his beloved Barcelona in Europe throughout history????

  44. As far as I can tell the complaints are multi-layered: - Despite being told that the medium is equivalent to a UK small, folk aren't happy that the adults sizes don't start at small (the small is equivalent to the Youth XL). - You can buy the Youth XL (equivalent to the Macron small) but because it's a youth size you can't get the sponsor print on it because of legislation involving gambling companies advertising. - So despite being provided with 2 options: 1. Buy the medium adult size (equivalent to a UK small) with sponsor or 2. Buy the cheaper youth XL (equivalent to a Macron adult small) without a sponsor people aren't happy because you can't buy an adult Macron small with a sponsors logo on it. - You also have the contingent who don't appear to be able to grasp how sponsorship works and, presumably because the youth versions are sponsorless, have been contacting the shop wanting to buy the adult sizes without a sponsor which you can't do because...the sponsor have paid money to have their logo on that sort of thing. Long story short you have actual grown adults working themselves into a shoot about fitba shirts. I mean I like fitba shirts, I have a wardrobe full of them but...Fucking hell. I think that's pretty much it but if I've missed anything it's because it's a wormhole that quite frankly I can't be fucked getting any further into.
