Who was it that was quick to rubbish the fraser hornby shout because there was no way a Premier league youngster that plays for Scotland U21s would join us in this division?15 points

Don't expect an answer to these questions all the time Rugster, for obvious reasons, but at the moment, I'm currently sitting with the media officer in the stadium. However, he and I are pals so we might just be having a sociable evening together.11 points

Just when you think Falkirk can’t get any more box office, on comes Long Suffering Sandra Shepherd. The drama never ends. What a fucking club.10 points

Not too hopeful about Petravicius given the reviews from Motherwell fans, but he is young, dropping down a level and he has a cool name. Maybe it's a mobile option off the bench? Willing to give him a chance anyway given I've not seen a great deal of him. Can't get over the Sammut signing - I really think that could be a masterstroke. Captaining Chelsea to multiple trophies last season is a great pedigree. Looks like Portsmouth were sniffing about him too so we've done well to get it through. The Loy tweet made me feel genuinely sad10 points

As a Torquay fan (now living in Edinburgh and getting to know my new local side), McGinty is definitely a level above Balatoni. He started every single league and cup game in his two years for us, was our captain last year and was offered a new contract. His spell coincided with us being an absolute mess, skint and fighting relegation both years, but he was relatively stable given what was going on around him, and it was the lack of quality around him that brought relegation. Balatoni arrived in January and played 16 times - doing ok but not excelling. McGinty is a no nonsense type defender - big, physical and good in the air. With 4 goals last season he could have been our top goalscorer, but we signed a striker on 16th March that scored 6 goals in 7 starts and he ended up winning it. Biggest flaw is definitely when he's on the ball and distribution - his hoofs up the pitch nowhere near anyone were a running frustration, but if you don't ask much of him on the ball his other attributes make up for it. I'll be curious to see how he gets on, and will try to take in a Thistle game whilst groundhopping.9 points

Rovers supporters, eh! "When are we signing players? It's all too quiet!" *Good signing announced* "We don't have anyone good to play around him!" Not happy unless they're moaning.6 points

This time two years ago we were facing the prospect of when, not if, Vaulks would leave and not far off hearing the words "So Will's wages have gone to John Rankin". Let's just let that sink in.6 points

It's a bit of a misconception that he didn't do well for us. There was a stat on our thread in the last week about points won with or without Froxy and I think we won around 95% of our points with him in the team, I think Brechin were the only team we beat without him. He was massively under-used in his best position, leaving him out wide exposed his defensive problems and after he failed to track his man in the Irn Bru final (which lost us the game) he was barely seen again. His free kick that won us the TNS semi-final will live with every Sons fan for a long, long time. Ridiculous effort causing ridiculous scenes. Plus, I'm sure when he does this at East End again he'll be instantly loved:6 points

If Falkirk think I am going to sit at work and do nothing other than monitor their twitter page all day, they are absolutely correct.6 points

I tell you what, it would be good if the club did what airdrie have done and publish how many ST sold and how many we have in previous years. Might help push on if there was a target to aim for. The more season tickets sold the bigger the budget available to the team. We need to do as much as we can in order to help push the club on and hit the expectations everyone has for it. No point moaning when we don’t if you aren’t helping to push it on. Every time the club posts on social media about season tickets, give it a share. Encourage others to join. The more folk that go to the games the more money made. Simple. #monthefife6 points

Not to be too mean about him - but he is genuinely one of the most useless players I have ever seen at Fir Park. And I saw Gunni Jonnsson. And Jacob Blyth.5 points

I am a big fan of Falkirk's policy of only signing players based on looks. Navy will really bring out Froxy's beard imo.5 points

AUmedia have jumped the gun here, unfortunately. The club, AUmedia and myself had agreed to look at live streaming home games next season. It was to be dependent on several things none of which have been finalised (including pricing). I am only going to be involved if I think the video side of things is reliable enough and of sufficient quality. Early tests look promising but we are not at the stage of selling subs. Annoyingly, I met up with all of AUmedia at Somerset on Saturday and there was no suggestion they were going public. Glad there is some interest though!5 points

Bittersweet in the end, Rory was the man the first time around, whatever issues he is facing I hope he gets them sorted. Now that frees up the budget for a couple of absolute ballers.5 points
