Let's be honest no deadline over Sibbalds contract was missed. He just simply wanted away from the club now to try something new. As someone else said say it enough and people will start believing the bull s***.9 points

Folk that moan about intolerance of bigotry are like the myriad racist arseholes on Twitter complaining that their freedom of speech has been curtailed because they're not allowed to call a black person a ****** any more. Of course I'm intolerant of sectarianism. You're supposed to be intolerant of mindless hate.9 points

I know who it is and they are either good or bad, and you'll delighted/gutted by their arrival. #ITK8 points

The Lowland League AGM has indeed happened, but very little has been made public. Could it be, shock horror, that they're waiting on EoSL and SoSL AGM to ratify proposals before making any public statements regarding promotion etc? Because that's very much what the one public statement that was made suggested6 points

The most hate-filled bigoted support in the universe attempt to claim the H word as the equivalent of their routine gutter and illegal terms for 'those of irish heritage'. The_ Kincardine pushing this line as far as he can... and they act like emotional maiden aunts suffering the vapours at being described as 'the great unwashed' in a jokey wee article in a pub trade house magazine 12 years ago. FFS. Do they know how 'off the radar' pathetic they look? answers own question - 'obviously not'6 points

I actually used to feel bad about battering normal Hearts fans in the 80s/90s but you’ve genuinely made me feel quite nostalgic about it.6 points

Luckily for us Khufu2 came up with a ranking system for the teams leaving but he's forgotten to update it since 8th May. here's an updated version including all the former East Juniors: East Junior 2018-19 with 2017-18 positions 6 Lochee United 10 Broughty Athletic 12 Carnoustie Panmure 15 Kennoway Star Hearts 16 Forfar West End 18 Fauldhouse United 20 Tayport 22 Thornton Hibs 25 Glenrothes 26 Downfield 29 Bathgate Thistle 31 Whitburn Juniors 32 Kirriemuir Thistle 33 Pumpherston Juniors 35 Armadale Thistle 41 West Calder United 43 Lochgelly Albert 47 Harthill Royal 51 Rosyth 55 Livingston United 57 Stoneyburn Juniors 59 Kirkcaldy YM 33 Dundee North End 35 Luncarty 37 Dundee Violet 39 Kinnoull 41 East Craigie 43 Scone Thistle 45 Blairgowrie 47 Lochee Harp 49 Lochore Welfare 51 Arbroath Vics 53 Coupar Angus 55 Brechin Vics 57 Newburgh 59 Forfar Albion Average position 37 EOS 2018-19 with 2017-18 positions 1 Bonnyrigg Rose 2 Linlithgow Rose 3 Penicuik Athletic 4 Dundonald Bluebell 5 Broxburn Athletic 7 Hill of Beath Hawthorn 8 Boness United 9 Camelon Juniors 11 Newtongrange Star 13 Sauchie Juniors 14 Jeanfield Swifts 17 Musselburgh Athletic 19 Haddington Athletic 21 Blackburn United 23 Dunbar United 24 Tranent Juniors 27 St Andrews United 28 Arniston Rangers 30 Dalkeith Thistle 37 Edinburgh United 39 Oakley United 45 Crossgates Primrose 49 Craigroyston 53 Easthouses Lily MW Average position 20 Looks like the teams leaving are about twice as good as those staying on average.5 points

Never as simple as a group of overexcited lads chatting about how sexually frustrated they are at the lack of signings, someone has to spoil the party with negative comments, don't need these bad vibes guys not today.5 points

My wife left a note on the fridge, "It's not working. I can't take it anymore, I'm going to my mums house!" I opened the fridge, the light came on, the beer was cold. What is she talking about?5 points

The utter seethe from the anti-pyramid brigade is a joy to behold. People unable to accept that the world has changed and football is having to change with it, people still seemingly stuck in the 1950s and who despite all of the evidence still think that the "grade" has a future. Utterly tragic. Congratulations to the East teams in grabbing the bull by the horns and moving onwards and upwards and for setting out all of the reasons that moving makes sense. Also well done to most fans on here pointing out that teams are moving for various on and off the field reasons and that they don't all expect to be in the SPFL within the next couple of seasons.5 points

I am pretty confident Young will have a few attack minded players to come in, but i like the way the squad is shaping up. You wonder if the manager is going to go for a smaller squad of higher quality/higher paid players or a rounded larger squad. Looks to me that we are going for a bit of a bigger squad this year, which given our luck with injuries is probably a smart move. I think we will get a good few signings in the next week or so now that players are coming back from holidays/know their options. But no complaints from me on the business we have already done4 points

The pitch has paid the price from when we allowed Dundee/Aberdeen play development matches on it. The continuous wear and tear can take years to sort when you're doing it on a budget. I played on it at the TASC funday and a bobble totally robbed me of a goal.4 points

Aye its been an exciting 10 days right enough. Whilst as I've said I'd rather wait for quality than just sign championship jobbers, pre season training is on the horizon and we're nowhere near a decent squad. No pace, width or creativity at the moment and we still havent resolved the right back situation which has plagued us since Keiran Duffy left. We also don't want to end up with a pile of players turning up unfit having had no real pre season training. I doubt County are really spending much more cash than United have over the last couple of seasons and they've done feck all with it. Lindsay for instance was part of a team that somehow managed to end up below a piss poor Partick side last season. so forgive me if I'm not exactly gutted that we perhaps missed out on another championship jobber.4 points

You could. When the World Cup starts! Or maybe next week. I've hidden a wee easter egg in there for the moment. Want to see if anyone notices.4 points

The LL/SOS/EOS meeting monthly. Promotion & relegation will have been discussed. EoS Secretary & LL Secretary are the same person. Until a format is officially agreed by the EoS you can't determine how promotion & relegation will work in 2018-19. Plus they'll have a mind on 2019-20 and any introduction of a WoS league. Khufu's just trying to troll creating a divide between the LL/EOS, when they are mainly the same people working on the common goal of a pyramid for decades.4 points
