Hang on, you’ve literally just made the argument for everything all the pro-pyramid people have been saying here for months. How can you not see that?10 points

Exactly. The thing I find most depressing about the furore surrounding Gerrard’s arrival, is how servile our media are. “What will the English think?” continues to dominate their thoughts. Gerrard may or may not turn out to be a great success at Rangers, only time will tell. But this idea that we should all rejoice because idiotic Talksport pundits like Alan Shearer might afford our game a cursory glance once in a while is ludicrous. Kenny MacIntyre has been the chief cheer leader in this field. The disregard for the play-offs and vital relegation games has been a disgrace.6 points

The club should announce 1 released player or 1 signing every day in order to make the time pass more comfortably.5 points

I’ll tell you what will be quality viewing. When Steven Gerrards wondering what he’s doing with himself as he’s standing on the touchline at the Superseal stadium in the pishing rain. Foaming at the mouth **** in the stand because Morelos has just missed from 4 yards and Doogie Imrie has scored right after to put Hamilton 1-0 up. That’ll be quality viewing.5 points

Statement from EoS on The Sun Juniors Facebook page, The East of Scotland Football League is very pleased ...to announce that the undernoted Clubs have applied for, and been accepted into, membership of the League commencing from Season 2018/2019. The structure of the League will be decided once we have a final number of participants as this could still change between now and our Annual General Meeting on 7 June due to the possible relegation of one other Club from the Scottish Lowland Football League and to allow the League to consider any late applications for membership. Clubs accepted Blackburn United Bonnyrigg Rose Camelon Juniors Crossgates Primrose Dalkeith Thistle Dunipace Easthouses Lily Edinburgh United Haddington Athletic Hill o’ Beath Hawthorn Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts Musselburgh Athletic Tranent Juniors Interesting last bit there, are they hoping for more applicants or are they fishing to try and catch something?5 points

I've heard rumours that Hopkin wants to manage a Premiership side next season. I think that confirms he's staying.4 points

I think Gary Dicker is a fantastic player, and he's stepped it up a level since Clarke came in. He controls the tempo in the middle of the park and is always the one guy showing for the ball from the defence and starting off attacks.4 points

"A pyramid system can only be good and, if Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Peterhead can survive and prosper in the senior leagues, then I am confident our elite teams like Linlithgow Rose and Pollok could compete in the second or third division." - Tom Johnston March 2005 I was looking to see who might be on the Pyramid Working Group and the first result was an article from the Herald containing the above quote http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/12396614.SFA_plan_points_way_to_pyramid_system/ This March 2005 article mentions Tom Johnston & Alan McRae would be on the working group that would eventually see Junior clubs integrated into the SFA Scottish Cup in 2007-08. Its 13 years later and these two guys are apparently still leading the discussion on an integrated pyramid. I'm sure it's all about to change any minute now3 points

Derek Lyle's first goal for us was on 16th February 2002 v Forfar which means he had 15 years, 9 months or so between them. I don't have an exact date for Tommy Bryce's first goal for us to hand but he first joined us in the summer of 1985 so it would be shortly after that. Which means it was less than 13 years before his last one. Top scorer Jim Patterson played for us from 1949 to 1963 which means even if he scored in his 1st and last games (I don't know if he did) then it's a maximum of about 14 years. Iain McChesney played for us for 21 years from 1960 to 1981. Although ostensibly a defender, he scored 79 goals in his time with us. I've no idea when he got his first and last without doing some research but there's a fair likelihood that he beats Lyle.3 points

This fact alone should act as a wake-up call to those trusting in TJ & his SJFA. I really cannot see the sense in paying a TV company money to show a game, when it will undoubtedly lead to fewer bodies through the gate. if it was with the intent to attract a sponsor, it may make sense but they've failed miserably on that score. Many die-hard junior fans see the clubs leaving as traitors to the grade or lemmings jumping over the cliff but the alternative for most is to wither and die, gradually, whilst the rest of the non-league scene prospers.3 points

We are a much better team with Dicker than without. His job isn't to spray amazing passes all over the pitch, its to break up play and lay it off to someone better which he does very, very well. Some Killie fans make out his passing is horrendously bad though and it really is not.3 points

We really could be doing without all this negative press though at a time when they are “trying” to build a bit of positive momentum. Typical FFC.2 points

Craig Campbell made an absolute c**t of himself regarding his tweet to one of the shuttle boys. If they were selling the shirts then I can totally understand where he was coming from, however it had already been stated online in a fan group (Campbell is in said Group) that the shirts were made for that supporters bus. I personally think if it hadn’t been a young group of guys doing it then he’d not have said something like that. I’ve been quite impressed with CC since he came in but this and the mixed messages between budgets with him and Hartley is quite worrying. To threaten fans on social media with legal action is a total minter, it’s came to bite him right on the arse now though, fucking embarrassing2 points

99 clubs did NOT vote to leave Junior Football behind and join the pyramid. They indicated (including my own Junior club) that they would be in favour of the SJFA as an Association joining the pyramid system.2 points

If your house is messy, tidy it. If your house is filthy, clean it. If you leave litter in your street, the street will be full of litter. If you leave rotting cars in your drive, the street will be full of rotting cars. If you don't cut your grass or hedge, the street will be unkempt. If you don't tell your landlord / council to repair the damaged doors, buildings, windows etc then they won't get fixed. Every single one of those examples is tenant choice. Apathy, laziness and a general lack of care are the reasons.2 points
