This was posted on Twitter the other day and aside from showing the badge is the most fabulous football photo ever to emerge from this city of ours:8 points

Fucking hell, I'd rather read NhicolaGhirls opinion of the Mayweather v McGregor fight than that pish. Never restart that argument again and we can all forget it ever happened. In better news, tickets for the Lomachenko v Rigondeaux fight arrived in my ticketmaster account yesterday. Fucking buzzing.7 points

Was visiting a relative in Aberdeen a few years ago and on the train back to Glasgow the guy across from me fell asleep. He woke up when the train was at Montrose and realising that was his stop, jumped up and off the train in a hurry. He didn’t realise he had left his shopping behind. It was top gear too, trainers, jeans, tshirts and a cracker of a jacket. Sold it all to a mate. Easy £500.5 points

Whatever happened to him anyway? (Roachford, not Helpma) ... anyway, this clip might help implant Roachford more firmly... Apologies for the lack of league tables. Yesterday was a big day in the life of a Richelieu, where I gained two personal bests - number of warnings handed out in one day (three) AND number of whole years lived on this planet (40). I'll get the league tables posted at lunchtime, but in the meantime, apart from the usual absentees, I'm missing AFJ's score from Monday, and alang1993's Monday and Tuesday scores.5 points

Today I placed an engineer on contract 2 days a week for a water treatment company. He's 71 and will earn £425 a day when he's on site. He's delighted and his wife phoned to thank me for getting the auld coffin dodger out from under her feet. Let's hear it for the 3rd age4 points

I agree Moonster, a good turnout would be helpful. The next year looks like being absolutely critical; it's not just the new stadium proposal, we should be very concerned about the governance and financing of DFC and I think that has to come out in the discussion. Anyone mentioning Gary Fleming will be hacked to death on the spot.4 points

Hello sir, have you been unable to follow the simple signs and tannoy announcements indicating which one is the train you've purchased a ticket for? If so, I'm your Scotrail appointed dolt herder.4 points

Not train but directional related. A guy I knew left a party in Strathaven and against advice set out to walk to East Kilbride. After a fair way, he stopped to light a fag. He forgot he had turned round to shield the lighter and walked back to Strathaven.4 points

People are stupid. I don't think social media helps- not Brexit related but the same shit goes around about the EU. I saw some ridiculous statistic posted as fact. Immigrants apparently get their housing paid for, then on top of that they get something like £27 a day in food vouchers per person! The synopsis was "£756 for a family of 4 per week, on food! No, they are buying vodka & cigarettes with this money, selling them on, then sending the proceeds back to whatever land they came from" utter tripe with thousands of "likes". Stop the planet, I want to get off.3 points

There does seem to be elements of the Thistle support either utterly incapable of listening to reasonable criticism or vice versa where they are unconditionally negative - and obviously in times like these, both factions are more prominent. When speaking to folk following our opening fixtures, I said whilst I wasn't troubled by our performances so far, I was worried that despite them, we had picked up so few points and that it didn't augur well for when our levels dropped. For my money, we are suffering from two main problems. Firstly, Archie has absolutely bugger all idea what his best attacking quartet is. We've been hampered by circumstance at times what with Storey and Sammon's ineligiblity forcing change but the lack of any sort of continuity is patently damaging. It's harking back to the tendency of latter seasons to shoehorn anyone but Dools into the team. We know that the understanding between Dools, Erskine and Lawless is sound yet they've rarely started together - by my count, twice, one of which was our most impressive showing in recent times in the hounding of St Mirren. Admittedly injury has prevented it at times but I believe going back to what we know works should be high on the manager's list over the next few weeks. What he knows for damn sure, and should have an absolute abundance of evidence to prove, is that we are desperately short in midfield which brings me to the second issue. Like many others I'm sure, I looked at our squad in pre-season and could see that we needed a central mifielder. We had lost Welsh (and David Wilson who counted as a squad player, I suppose, although could say he's been replaced by McCarthy) and had a player returning after a lengthy injury who was always likely to have a niggle at some point. Allied to this, we have guy who everyone and their granny can see is infinitely better in defence meandering about the middle of the park with all the urgency and tenacity of a dead sheep alongside a guy who has both of those assets but not an ounce of tactical or positional discipline, neither of whom appear to contribute very much defensively or offensively. Saturday was the first time I've heard Archie admit we have a shortage in midfield despite it existing for months. His neglect to adequately recruit in this area is a major failing - and it could prove a very costly one at that. We have been undoubtedly impacted by an awful injury accumulation but again, poor squad management has deprived us of proper left back cover in Booth's absence. I wouldn't hang the decision to send Penrice out on loan around Archie's neck too much but if Christie was going to be our starting right back this season, he should have been just that. Shunting a right footer to left back hinders our system significantly in my opinion. I think the recruitment in the full back areas has been questionable and that extends to the retention of Dumbuya in the summer who should have been cut loose. I noted down a very conservative points estimate for various points of the season, the achievement of which would still have left us needing a couple of wins post split. We're 6 points off that estimate. What concerns me most is that the team were by all accounts outfought and outbattled on Saturday and previously against Motherwell. Archie still has my full support but he's not beyond criticism. There's some serious questions that he's going to have to find the answers to over the next few weeks starting on Saturday. Only a win will do.3 points

This is true, and entirely logical. Disappointingly however we are a national of servile shitebags. Whether it's political decisions, sport or indeed almost anything else, given the opportunity for meaningful change we will without question utterly shit the bed and vote for anything which brings us more misery. Frankly, we deserve everything we fucking get.3 points

Folk that choose to sit at the very front of the top deck of a bus (particularly when the whole deck is empty) . Back when I were a lad on the school bus, those were the seats for not just First Years, but those at the very bottom of the food chain, the absolute cannon fodder who would go to bed dreaming of the very back centre middle seat occupied by the alpha male.2 points

There is a independence conference at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh on the 4th November which is near sold out. I really hope this is the start of a proper campaign rather than another talking shop. The SNP doesn't need to be directly involved in this at the moment (albeit Alex Salmond is one of the main speakers) and they can avoid the "get on with the day job" criticism that helped the Unionist parties in the recent elections. It's organised by the Scottish Independence Convention and is part of the wider YES movement. I would say this is definitely the way to go to start the indyref2 campaign. We could be ready and have the momentum by the time the SNP government pull the indyref2 trigger2 points

A magnificent 7/10 was scored. However, this was several pints ago and in the middle of the pub quiz (in between rounds, no breaking of the 'phones away' rule here, straight as the day is long, mind you can;t believe those gits on the next table didn't give us the points for the first line of "Our House" as "Mother wears her Sunday best", after all we gave them the points for "brother" even though the right answer was "father", hell they're all relatives aren't they, anyway (missed out on Roachford as well, I never seem to remember Roachford) where was I, oh yes, the P&B quiz, yes, 7/10 but cant remember any of the questions never mind which ones I got wrong at this moment, maybe I can revisit it tomorrow, I do remember being pleased with 7 which probably means that at least 5 were guesses. We did win the quiz though. Close run thing tonight, but triumphant in the end. Yay for music of the 80's (excluding Roachford).2 points

The performance wasn’t great, but Glasgow performing poorly pushed the English Champions to the limit away from home. In the past, our poor performances have seen a hiding, and we’re now actually coming away from a ground like that raging that we haven’t won. You are being over-critical, and the pish about “owing the fans” is ridiculous. It’s so typically Scottish to lay into the players, while the opposition fans are relieved that they won and shiting themselves about the return fixture.2 points
