1st half was, as you say, pretty awful. After the break though H96 were able to show a bit more imagination and deservedly ended up winning 2-0. First goal god awful defending allowing Harnik to stab a header from Füllkrug (cross from Bebou) over the line. Second goal scored by Ihlas Bebou (his first for the club in only his 2nd appearance) who had came on for Felipe in the 1st half. Usual pyro nonsense in the away section. The smell of cordite or whatever was strong enough up at the opposite end of the ground where I was. Wouldn't have liked to be directly next to it. H96 will no doubt end up in the bottom half of the table, but currently sit top of the Bundeliga. Travelled up with a pile of Hamburg fans, journey back was certainly 'pleasing'.

R.I.P. Harry Dean Stanton. Great actor. Loved him in Lynch's work - as Carl Rodd in FWWM / The Return, Johnnie Farragut in Wild at Heart and Freddy Howard in Inland Empire, as well as his iconic role in Paris, Texas. Lynch is definitely up for a continuation of Twin Peaks btw. He's playing the long game on this. It's just a matter of whether Showtime, or failing that, another platform such as Netflix, come up with the money and cede the requisite level of control. It would likely be another 3-5 years in the making, as Lynch is a fastidious filmmaker. Despite low-key noises emanating from Showtime's President David Nevins, I'd be surprised if they weren't already deep in negotiations for season 4. The finale to S3 opens up a whole new range of possibilities. If The Return had a minor fault, for me it paid a little too much lip service to the original and was shrouded in a kind of bittersweet nostalgia. Some of that was wonderful, like the tribute to the log lady, but it felt, at times, like Lynch was torn between paying homage to the old, and forging something new. I'd like to see more of the world of episode 18, which ranks amongst the most unsettling work that Lynch has produced in his career IMO.

I love every single one of the Italian sides. Except Juve. And even then I usually hope they win in Europe. At a push I'd maybe say Milan because I loved their team in the 00s, and Lazio due to my favourite FM (Champ Man) game ever. They just all have great kits (Sampdoria ), they all had great players in the 90s, So many iconic moments from my childhood. There's 8 or 9 teams who when they play against each other (which is most weekends), I'd watch over games in any other country.

Still for me one of the best pieces of the entire Twin Peaks story.
