We are supporters of a non city club, and I thank every single one of us for not following either side of the arse cheeks, but let's be realistic, I am 30 years old, in 97 I went to a Scottish cup final and it was massive, once in a lifetime stuff!! For me I was only a young lad so never appreciated the length of time we took to be there, 20 years later, I have managed another 2 plus 2 semis. 2 Scottish cup finals in the last 10 years 1 of which was just 2 years ago and within that time we have competed with 3 of the biggest clubs in the country. If you fucking dare call any of that mediocre, then you sir are a fool with delusions of grandeur. Should we be doing better ? That's up for debate at the moment, has Houston done well ? Little Jimmy really loves tractors, he has tractor toys, tractor wallpaper, tractor bedding, tractor pyjamas, basicly everything he has is tractor related. When playing in a nearby field he stumbles across a real tractor, with no farmer around little Jimmy decides to have a sit in the tractor and pretends to have a drive. Suddenly out of nowhere the farmer arrives "Oi you ya little c**t!! Get the f**k oot ma tractor!" This upsets little Jimmy, he runs home, heart broken and pulls down his wall paper. He no longer likes tractors. 2 weeks pass and little Jimmy has a new found love; Fire engines! Everything he owns is to do with fire engines. Across the road from little Jimmys house, a fire breaks out at another house. Excited with all the fire engines, Jimmy goes down for a closer look at them. His attention is distracted however by hearing the firemen talk, "The smoke is too thick and the mother and baby are still inside, we cant get in" Little Jimmy interupts and said "I can help, trust me!" So the firemen, with no ideas left, let him help. Jimmy walks up to the door opens the letter box, puts his mouth up to it and sucks all the smoke out. The mother and baby are saved, Jimmy is a hero! The fireman asks Jimmy "That was amazing, how did you do that?"

It's not a full season if for potentially six of those games he can't play. Celtic are our biggest rivals for success in Scotland, we won't be challenging in the league but they are our biggest challenge in the cup. To give up arguably our best player for a good player who can't play against the team that prevented us twice from winning trophies isn't a great deal. The notion that we would knock off 450 thousand from the deal for a loan player is also ludicrous. We would effectively be developing another player for a team who have also taken one of our best. Cash plus Christie on a loan is a terrible deal for us. Cash plus Christie as a permanent I can't see happening. Tbh Dons best position on this is to maximise the cash return for him, or not sell him.

Don't give up Toma, there is always hope. Just because your relationship has failed doesn't mean you need to give up. Try and do something positive each week/month. I was going through a shite time not too long ago. My friend sent me a text, telling my about a bloke that was lost at sea for 76 days after his boat sank. Brave as f**k post mate. Can only echo what others have said in here. You will get through this. And yeah the bad times will come again but you'll get through that too. I know what it's like to feel so overwhelmed by the sadness that all you want is a way out. That maybe you're just not meant for this world. It's not true, it's never true. My friend recently committed suicide, clearly felt there was nothing here for him. 300 people crying their eyes out at his funeral would've told him emphatically otherwise. The advice is give is to get out there and talk to people. Doesn't have to be about this, just socialise. People's company has an odd knack of being a relief. When i was at my worst I locked myself away and hid from the world and it's never a good idea. Hang in there mate, get help. You will get through it. As someone else said, one small step at a time.
