I realise that, indeed have used that argument in favour of Scottish independence, but that didn't stop Labour in particular talk about "leading the Union", Cameron talking about a "Partnership of equals" or Gordon Brown trying to proclaim Holyrood "Permanent" in UK law (which obviously it can't be. What's good about this judgment for Sturgeon is less the legal issues involved and more the deconstruction of several of BT's arguments from last time, and a weakening of the case for Union this time.4 points

Just as a comparison, ParsTV has roughly 50 Season Pass Holders, plus regular, occasional and first time users who buy the service on an individual game basis. Our home match vs Hibs this season saw (if I remember correctly) 75 paying customers for the match plus the regular SPH, so over 100 viewers were tuned in. However, at other matches - Dundee United at home in the Irn-Bru Cup for example, which was live on TV, we had a total of 6 viewers - AFAIK - throughout the match and I don't think anyone physically bought the match, it was all SPH. In terms of revenue, we charge £7.50 for a home match video stream and £5 for away matches (a reduction due to the chances of problems arising being larger). If I'm right, its £50 for a Season Pass. Audio only SP's can be bought for £10 with ParsTV and we are currently trying a free audio service (use to cost £2.50 if you were only buying an individual match) and since we have scrapped the price of this stream, we have seen a remarkable increase in listeners. In terms of the rules relating to showing a re-run of the full 90 mins - this is allowed, but can't be put out until, I believe, 10pm on a Saturday evening (not sure about midweek matches). Highlights also have a restriction, I think it may also be 10pm but not 100% sure on that. If you want to discuss anything or ask any further questions on ParsTV or the setting up of live streaming, pldssd don't hesitate to PM on here. If I can't help directly, I'd be happy to help you guys get in touch with the appropriate people.4 points

After 2 years, 2 operations on my back and a disgustingly thinning head of hair I'm starting to get back to being a human again. So I thought I would pop back on here and see what's happening. It's changed just a wee bit. Cannae wait to find out who the rampant bams are these days. There must be a whole new generation of them.3 points

So, are we in a situation here where people who claim to want the British Parliament to claim back power are complaining because the British Parliament is being forced to exercise powers that it already has?3 points

He tried his best, but in reality he just wasn't very good. I was delighted when he signed, as was every other Thistle fan I spoke to, so you can't really criticise Archibald for bringing him here in the first place. Strong management from Archie once again I'd say. He doesn't f**k about when it comes to shipping out guys he's brought in. Especially seeing as we've been tracking him since we were first promoted.2 points

Something the BT campaign and it's supporters did, and the subsequent Scotland act as well. Legally the supreme court had little choice but to rule as it did, politically however it stomps all over a lot of rhetoric that came from the Unionist side last time and deconstructs the arguments around "equal partnerships" and Scotland's place in the Union. It simply adds colour to repeated arguments that the size of Scotland's representation is not enough to give Scotland an equal voice in the UK.2 points

Bet yer glad ye didn't invite rod Stewart to help with the draw [emoji33][emoji23] Am I right in thinking no matter who wins, we'll have a first time cup winner? Best of luck to all the semi finalists!! Is this the mind games begun from blackislekilie and Bullyweevilla? I'd post the Kevin Keegan rant gif if I could but can't get it to work on my phone.2 points

To a degree, but the EU provides a considerable level of protection. Remember it was the threat of falling foul of the EU that forced devolution of power to Scotland in the first place, following the debacle of the 1979 referendum. Without the EU, I, and I suspect many other, have serious qualms about the dedication of Westminster to devolution.2 points

You're right - I've just looked him up on Wikipedia. And the name is by Half Man Half Biscuit! It's not a song title in itself, but a line from Dickie Davies's Eyes.2 points

I think McEveley has turned out to be quite good next to Davies at centre-back, he's really settled down after an error-strewn start to his time at County. I think that partnership is the strongest the club has had since Quinn+Boyd two years ago and it's arguably a lot better. I think the team missed Jay's composure from the back when he went off - Murray tried to chase him but couldn't put McEveley off his stride. I also really like how aggressive McEveley is in nipping in front of forwards to clear or intercept, which sets a positive tone for the team and it tends to trigger some exciting counter attacks from Routis & Co - it can also result in a cheap FK which has happened, but the reward is worth the risk and it suits what McIntyre tries to do with the team. I don't know where Quinn fits into all this, but I guess he might be stepping into a coaching role at the club rather then be released.2 points

I believe Leyton Orient once had a fanzine called "Brian Moore's Head Looks Uncannily Like London Planetarium", which sounds like a Half Man Half Biscuit song title. And I'm not going to explain any of those names - go and Google them, you young whippersnappers.2 points

So from what I've been told, we have 50 or so SPH's for the Video Stream which can only be viewed if you're out with the UK. We also get on average 10 paying customers from overseas buying the Video Stream on an individual game basis. In terms of the Audio Stream, we have 2 SPH's this season for that service, with virtually nobody buying the Audio on a match day. Since we have reduced the price to free, we've seen a remarkable increase in traffic on the Audio stream, with the majority being from within the UK. I hope this helps. Any more queries, feel free fl get in touch.2 points

If he's going to be the press secretary for the leader of the free world he needs to make sure of his sources before he opens his mouth. Incorrect data from an unreliable source is not using "available facts"; its either deliberate deception or a massive error of judgement.2 points

Have to say if I'd was alang I'd be putting a complaint in to some dead tribunal of Raith Rovers officials. The question was quite clear in stating that metres were required, nothing else, and WhiteRoseKillie fucked it up by being poncy with his nautical terminology. Disgraceful decision.2 points
