  3. I'd swap my Netflix for Scottish Fitba Telly. Some programmes which could be used as filler - Coisty's Calamity: a fun filled hour of own goals and gaffes presented by everyone's favourite jovial ex-Rangers manager. Get Fit with John Collins: instructional Pilates and yoga with the shirtless Adonis. Motivational talks during the warm-down. Bazza's Kitchen: Barry Ferguson doing cookery classes, cooking favourites such as the Monster Munch sandwich and the Chips 'n' Red Sauce.

  7. People in town/city centres here in Scotland having anti Trump protests/rallies, what a bunch of losers, he won fair and square. It's absolutely f**k all to do with anyone here it was Americas decision and the main thing, nobody cares. This is the kind of shite social media is bad for, it's created these reactions. A wee gathering with a load of people trying to show how much they care and outraged they are, few photos and uploaded to social media. That's really what it's all about. These people not got anything better to be doing ffs.

  12. I was at the playpark earlier with my daughter and was pushing her on the swings when a boy of a similar age came over to the next swing with his mother. The Mum was about early 40s and probably semi decent in her day. Anyway, the wee boy kept shouting to be pushed higher which the Mum duly did. My wee one asked to do the same but I said no as he was going pretty high. The mum then said to me, its because he's a little wild before catching my eye and saying "Just like his Mum" they then stopped and left. I don't know if she was making a joke or if she's not the Mum or maybe if I've been reading the MILF thread for too long. All I know is I'm going back the same time next week.

  14. Hoping to actually making it along to a game, assume we still line up? Prunty Walker Lamont Nicoll Agnew Gilhaney Creaney Lithgow Graham Nugent Grindlay Shay to be awful at crosses, Creaney to knock it long, Aggie with a 35 yard free kick that Beckham would be proud of, Walker to work all day, Prunts with an overhead kick and Nicoll to absolutely ragdoll the Queens midfield. #CSE

  20. Remarkable that he played over 40 first team games for Queens under a couple of different managers without ever remotely resembling a footballer. Naysmith appears to be clear-sighted and decisive, bordering on ruthless. Just what was needed.

  26. Unless they've been invited down by BT on a freebee, why on earth does it need 'a host' of these buffoons to go to London? Having Doncaster and Regan represent the Scottish game is bad enough but when BT meet the actual clowns in charge of the clubs any chance of a decent deal will be gone. You can imagine them all on the trip south. 'Peter, Peter, can we go to Madame Tussauds?' 'But I want to go on the London Eye Peter' 'Let's go to the zoo. Can we Peter, can we?'

  31. I still remember how good it was getting 5 minutes of highlights on YouTube a couple of years ago and how pissed it made me when they took it away. Frankly, I don't know how lucky we'll get. The biggest issue is this is still three years away, so we're stuck with them for now. I think personally, we've never had less to lose with most of our houses in order and a reliance on fans instead of TV revenue, now would be the time to try a SPFL TV seeing as technology has caught up to the ambitions from 10 years ago. Something similar to a smaller scale of what WWE or MLB do now. Do I think we'd make as much money right away? Probably not, but we would be at least able to put into the hands of people that could really give the attention it deserves, and make it enticing and build the subscription base. Better build ups and after game looks, more coverage of the lower divisions and analysis shows similar to MNF. I feel like it's got to be worth giving it a shot (even if I'm being incredibly idealistic about what it could be), but it's got to be better than settling for the status quo again.

  33. Any sort of strict liability would need to command the confidence of the clubs and (more importantly,) the supporters that it will be applied consistently - and that is where it will ultimately fall down. Everyone that goes to games in Scotland knows that a different style of policing/stewarding exists where Rangers and Celtic are involved and no-one would have any confidence that the same wouldn't apply here. We all know that something that isn't a big deal at an OF match from a policing point of view, would have the police horses and riot shields out at smaller fixtures. If 20 people at a Motherwell vs Killie game stood up and sang a sectarian song, it would be mentioned in the papers, on the BBC, etc, etc and sanctions would follow but if the same happened at the next OF game, it would be called "a largely well behaved crowd" by the police and everyone would move on. Without real consistency, this is a non-starter.

  36. There has to be an over reaching future strategy (ie developing youth players and keeping to a sensible budget) but that has to be balanced against finishing as high up the league as possible in any given season because if we are relegated then that future plan is suddenly in serious danger. So there is absolutely nothing wrong with bringing in loan players as long as they improve the squad and don't hamper the development of youth players. In case people have forgotten we are a club who is going to have to battle very very hard to stay in the top division, this season and probably even more so in the foreseeable future, and if we can bring in a bit of extra quality for 6 months going into the business end of the season then I don't see where the problem is.

  38. Are we not all singing from the same hymn sheet. I am sure we all think that we have a great bunch of guys with a great team spirit. We are not thinking that we can afford to sign top class players to replac any of the current players, all we are looking for is a squad that is strong enough to cope with injuries and suspensions in the run in to assure us a place in League 1 next season. Obviously if there are a couple of players in the manager's radar it would be unreasonable to expect names but to kno that there are one or two enquirers going on would I am sure give supporters a little boost.

  42. Presume you are someone who accepts payment then or has done in the past? I am certainly not jealous. I am heavily involved with a club at junior level and don't take any payment. I have no interest in taking payment for a sport I love....my point is amateur footballers should not be paid end off. It happens, we all know it does but it's not right.
