  1. Dens, America, Camperdown; we play where we want.

  3. I would personally prefer a redevelopment of Dens... primarily because I'd miss that honest, fuzzy feeling when you leave the Derry, glance up North Isla Street and think 'thank f**k I'm not an Arab.'

  4. Was The_Kincardigan actually trying to blame the 'diddy' supporters for the shameful manoeuvres that the 'diddy' chairmen and owners tried to get away with - just to quickly gloss over that little local difficulty in 2012? Really? A new low, even taking into account his normal lunacy.... If the likes of Stewart Milne and ALL OTHER top league power brokers had got their disgraceful way, the currant Team/Club/Companies/Basket of Assets,Dressed In Blue Playing Out Of Ibrox Stadium would have started the 2012-13 season with a cosy 10 point penalty - and the bears would still have been squealing injustice. The Diddy Revolt beat any pathetic posturing protests and marches on Hampden / BBC by a factor of about a thousand. Please - Die Again You Arseholes. Give us a laugh with Version 3. On Topic - that Doncaster 'interview' was - even at this stage of the journey - the most boak inducing pile of nonsense offered during the entire clusterfuck

  6. I think that was me tbh. Minters all round. Were you not the guy who said you'd want him to sign for Dundee so you can see some seething Pars fans? You have been by far the biggest mess on this thread, sore one.

  8. Won't be 15,000 - would be pointless as we'd never fill it (apart from derbies obv) It's not in camperdown, it's alongside the current leisure park and access will be via the kingsway as well as the retail park so traffic shouldn't be a huge issue. Parking will obviously be easier as well, big old car park already there with more to be added. Bar in the stadium, retail outlets (food most likely) as part of the development and jobs a good un. I'll fucking miss Dens but progress is required at Dundee. Years of poor product have eroded our support and as much as I love the stadium the facilities are less than ideal in parts of the ground. A new stadium will create a buzz and maybe bring some fans back.

  9. I'm surprised Bonner knows we even exist going by his insightful analysis of 'that player there' and 'number 8' anytime any team who aren't Celtic are on Sportscene.

Scotland - 2.375 - 16.925 - 2/4 - Celtic, Aberdeen24. Azerbaijan - 2.125 - 15.625 - 2/4 - Qarabag, Qabala Celtic's late winner in normal time really helped the coefficent and has made sure Scotland has European representation until Christmas. With Legia winning, it means that even if Aberdeen win and Zagleibie lose Scotland could not catch Poland until the Play-off round. Legia and Celtic will be seeded but could face tough opposition with the likes of Copenhagen, Ludogrets and Dinamo Zagreb all on the unseeded side of the draw. Norway lost Rosenborg from the CL last night and could lose all representatives before the group stages. Rosenborg will most likely be unseeded, which helps Scotland's chances of catching Norway as if Celtic were to qualify for the GS of the CL then the bonus point would put us ahead. Elsewhere: FC Kobenhavn defeated Astra and have secured at worst a EL Group stage berth for Denmark. Red Bull Salzburg defeated some Albanian outfit 3-0 on aggregate and will be seeded in the play-off round. Admira Wacker are out of the Europa league (def. 4-1 by Slovan Liberic) . A mixed night for Romania as champions Astra were humbled 3-0 (4-1agg) in the Danish capital whilst Steaua were able to win 2-0 at home (3-1agg) to last year's Europa League Quarter-finalists Sparta Prague. Astra will be unseeded in EL and Steaua will be seeded in the CL. Greece's Champions league campaign is over with both sides falling at the first hurdle to the mighty Hapoel Be'eer shava (def. Olympiacos 1-0) and rather ironically Ajax (def. PAOK 3-2 Agg). So their European campaign could be in tatters before the end of August. Games to look out for tomorrow night: Aggregate score included Vorskla Poltava (Ukr) 0-0 Lokomitiva (Cro) Rijeka 0-0 Istanbul Basaksehir (Tur) Hajduk Split 3-0 FC Oleksandriya (Ukr) AEK (Gre) 0-0 Saint-Ettiane (Fra) PAS 0-1 AZ Alkmaar (Ned) AIK Solna (Swe) 0-1 Panathinikos FC Arouca (Por) 1-1 Heracles (Ned) Maccabai Tel-Aviv (Isr) 3-1 Pandurii Targu Jiu (Rom) Viitorul Constanta 0-5 Gent (Bel) Rapid Wien (Aut) 0-0 Torpedo Zhodino (Blr) Spartak Trnava (Svk) 1-0 Austria Wien Dinamo Minsk (Blr) 1-1 Vojovidina (Srb) HJK (Fin) 2-1 IFK Goteborg (Swe) SonderjyskE (Den) 2-1 Zaglebie Lubin (Pol) Midtjylland 1-0 Videoton (***) Brondby 0-1 Hertha BSC (Ger) NK Maribor (Slo) 1-1 Aberdeen (Sco) Qabala (Aze) 1-1 Lille (Fra)

  14. No, it won't just be you. I'd imagine it's nagging at the back of lots of our minds. The excitement today overrides such doubts though. It's not just that he was so effective before; it's that he was such a joy to watch. It does remain to be seen whether he can have the impact we all hope for, but even if he has half of it, he'll be strengthening our team massively.

  19. He could possibly be past it, he might not live up to the expectation but for this moment of delight from seeing a legend come home after a successful career for him is totally worth it. Very rarely does a signing this big, come totally out of the blue and just lifts everything about the club.

  26. If this actually happens it will be great news for Dundee's wee club. Over the years Dundee fans have had to endure a string of con men, charlatans, spivs and fantasists - the guys in charge now look like the real deal and if they're prepared to make an investment of this magnitude it suggests that they're in this for the long haul.

  31. As with the podcasts, the amount of work that went into the Five Things and the quarterly report cards was unreal. For the former, I was basically sacrificing almost every Sunday to watch highlights, read match reports, write copy, edit copy, format content etc. Sometimes I didn't get to my bed until 3am. As for the report cards, I would take the week off work to get them done. They were really tricky to do, especially for League 2 teams like Annan Athletic and Montrose, teams without decent highlights packages. It's nice to read that people liked our work and appreciated the effort. I'm pretty proud at what we achieved between 2012 and 2015. As for the latest podcasts, I'm just crossing some ts and dotting some is but once they're done we'll be back in action.

  40. Utterly bonkers. Fans aren't entitled to moan about Doncaster's performance because he was put in place largely by the boards of the clubs we support? That really is the height of what you're saying, isn't it, despite the fact that it's been acknowledged from the outset? What a fool you've made of yourself here. Pick your battles in future, or more specifically, pick your battlegrounds.

  46. It's typical right wing shite from people who think that just because they were able to get a decent life for themselves that anyone else should. In their eyes everyone is responsible for their own lives which is fair enough to some underachievers but for too many people out there the psychological damage can be inflicted with an unhappy childhood and impossible to shake off and seek decent employment just like that.

  47. The problem with saying "folk should go out and work" is a bit simplistic when you factor in how many people are simply unemployable. They've scraped through school, bailed out at the minimum age, find it hard to interact socially with people outwith their small sphere. They've probably been the victim of their own parents' (or lack of parents) lack of guidance and it becomes a vicious circle of generations of living on benefits. f**k knows how to sort all that out.
