  1. * Anyone attacking Rangers players should be jailed. * Anyone shoving Rangers players should be banned from football. * The Hibs fans who went all the way up to the edge of the stand to goad Rangers fans are almost certainly bellends, but they aren't going to be punished for goading. * There were only a handful of Hibs fans goading until Rangers fans decided to belt out the The Billy Boys. This brought hundreds more Hibees over to join in the goading. * I reckon hardly any Rangers fans were aware of any assaults on their players at the time. Unless they all happened to be looking at all Rangers players at all times. * Even if they were aware, the Rangers fans came onto the pitch considerably AFTER the players had left the pitch. Which makes the Rangers statement they were protecting their players an utter lie. * So the only reason Rangers fans came on was because they couldn't handle a good old fashioned goading, and they wanted a fight. * Any fan of either team caught throwing a punch or kicking on the pitch deserves jail (unless I'm self defence) - that includes the guy in a suit who swung a kick at the Hibs fan as he ran past in the dugout area. * Keith Jackson, Chick Young and James Traynor: GIRFUY. * The reaction to the whole episode by P&B Rangers fans is level-headed and mostly responsible - but Jesus Christ the majority of their support really are utter cretins with the emotional maturity of a 10 year old.

  2. I still do not get it. Your team lost, they were beaten in dramatic fashion and all you can see are opposition fans laughing their asses off at you. I can let you into a little secret, if you turn away from the pitch and look up there are signs marked 'EXIT' ideally located so when you get cuffed at Hampden you can quickly and easily stuff your scarf up your sleeve and slink off home or to the pub. I can show show you the way if you like and indeed recreate the torn face it is customary to adopt in such circumstances, I have plenty of experience. To not do that and get on the pitch to meet the opposition fans, after you lost is bizarre, scumbag behaviour of the worst order.

  3. This is an incredibly long post about the scenes after the final whistle. I want to vent a tiny bit of frustration before I start bouncing off the walls and post about everything else!

  6. Thank you Hibs, genuinely. From the comedy of hibsing it throughout the season, to the cup final itself, to THAT david gray goal, to the pitch invasion, to the scenes, to sunshine on leith, to absolutely breaking rangers, to the glory that is this thread, to martin boyles 72 hour bender (at least), to the videos doing the rounds, thank you, thank you, thank you.

  9. The Hibs pitch invasion was inevitable. If it was Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts, Dundee, United etc. they would have done it because they've ended the hoodoo that has been hanging over them for so long. The violence to the players is obviously deplorable but I don't believe any of the Hibs support entered the field of play in order to cause trouble, they did it to celebrate, but when the opportunity arose to rub it in the Rangers' players and fans faces, unfortunately a few took it. The normal cup final defeat protocol is to immediately head for the exits. Thousands of Rangers fans disregarded this and valiantly defended the players, women and children went down to the front of the stand whilst belting our their anti-Catholic party tunes before spilling onto the pitch leading to violent clashes and child abduction attempts. No other club in Scotland would have reacted like this under these circumstances but Rangers obviously can't handle it when things don't go their way.

  10. Not only that but Kenny Shiels said last night on the radio that no one physically assaulted his lad either (although some fanny did take a swing at him). But the scum like the Record have no interest in the truth. They have no interest in news either. All they care about it money, and they will print any old bollocks and blatant lies, no matter the consequences, to make more money. They and their ilk spend their time on Earth making it a worse place.

  11. Right 2 days later and in a reflective mood. I'm 35 and in that time I have seen Hibs win 2 trophies, until the weekend. I was at the 6-2 game, yes I was at the 5-1 final but not the other preferable 5-1 final. Seen us scudded by celtic in two other finals, beaten by Livi and humped 7-0 by Malmo, f**k I was at the 6-6 Well game ffs. My point is I have seen some really good highs, beating Hearts, the OF etc and some utter pumpings. I have not been able to get the smile off of my face yet, truly it kinda hurts a wee bit. If there was one team other than Hearts I would have loved to have won the big cup against it would be Rangers or mk2 Rangers. The second Grey scored the winner I screamed at the utter top of my lungs, I roared and I have no shame in saying I fucking cried like a wee girl. I embraced and hugged every person around me and I wish I could put into words the sheer emotion I felt. Fans of big teams will never ever come close to that feeling of utter euphoria. I ran on the pitch I screamed and cheered my lungs out. I still can't fathom the joy I feel.

  13. Given the various banners and songs sung by the Sevco fans, it wouldn't be a huge leap to suggest many are affiliated with comically backward bollocks like the Orange Order, who every year parade around the streets of Scotland being highly provocative (indeed it's the only reason for their marches). These cretins dress like wankers and bang big drums to make loads of noise, and are often followed by hideous wee bigots with Sevco tops and Union Jack flags. So provocation is nothing new to the majority of Sevco fans surely? And the vast majority of people somehow manage to not get involved with the arseholes marching, which they do severely and over a prolonged period of time. Just how does the vast majority of Scotland manage to restrain themselves in face of such provocation?

  17. Yes we did have every right to go on and celebrate. No matter what an irrelevant bitter *** like yourself tries to suggest. Show me the proof that Rangers players were attacked or spat on. Lying about things like that is disgusting but no less than can be expected from someone like yourself. "Our national stadium" Scottish when it suits. I'm surprised you can hear anything over your bigoted fans vile sectarian songs. Which were aired in full for the whole world to hear. I wonder how much you'll be fined for that, your fans attacking Hibs fans and bringing the game into disrepute through your clubs laughable statements.

  20. Just caught up on the thread All the goading patter and Stranger Dangers were particular highlights. Good statement from Hibs too. Without fear or favour I've rewatched the winning goal so many times and i'll never get sick of it. Will never have a feeling like that again for the rest of my days. What a fucking moment. Hibs can do what they want now. Some club.

  22. There was still a lot wrong with the second statement though, and your club still ignore any wrong doing whatsoever. I'd still maintain that Hibs will get a bigger punishment, and that will be absolutely deserved by them. Your own club have been nothing short of a disgrace through this though and your deflection doesn't do anything to detract from this.

  23. Hibs are fucking magic club. The statement to the media shows them to be a true class act. The Stranger Dangers on the other hand. .......What a shower of shite they are. Still at least at this stage of "the Journey", just when we feared it was going to be business as usual and a return to the dark old days, they provide even more LOLs to keep us, the good guys, going. Hahahahahaha!!

  28. Pretty sure Higginbotham has signed up for at least one more year at Killie. I'd translate 'willing to consider offers for' as "can't/won't pay this guy off but if anyone wants to take him off our hands we would be very grateful.'

  29. On the videos I've seen, the Hibs fans are stood giving it the 'get it up ye' etc. Obviously wrong abd should be punished, but to suggest they were going to go into the stands and 'attack' is nonsense. Also alot of revisionism going on about Fir Park and 'attacking' fans, when the footage clearly shows a large group of teenagers stood around the level of the penalty spot doing zombie dances. Again, should be dealt with appropriately, but exaggerating and fabricating helps absolutely nothing.

There's then clear footage of him in several videos walking down beside the Sevco fans. I saw him get walked off the pitch as well. No one laid a finger on him.

  33. Balls to the club. The fans are mind cripples. On the facebook page the same people moaning about it not being hoops are creaming themselves over that stripey number that, even if we didn't traditionally wear hopes, looks fucking horrid

  34. I don't think Gray or McGinn lost a 50-50 battle all day. Actually, 50-50's not an entirely accurate description, many times they came out with the ball against 2 or more opponents. So, they were more like "33-67" or "25-75" balls! Sevco were arrogant going into the final from fans to management to players. They went into the final thinking all they had to do was show up to collect the cup and Hibs would roll over to have their bellies tickled, and they weren't ready for the battle.

  35. If Fury and Joshua fought just now it would be the equivalent of a 6th year boy (Fury) palming off the forehead of a 1st year boy (Joshua) furiously trying to get at him, swinging his arms and hitting air while all the bigger boys laugh. Fury would box rings around him.

  39. A fantastic day at Beechwood yesterday against the Legends team. Raised around £600 for the team to help us in our travels in the British Cup next season. Graeme Lafferty from the advertiser is doing a double page spread on the match in this weeks paper. Photos can be found on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/AlloaAthSFC/ I'm also thrilled to announce that McBookie.com are joining The Station as team sponsors for next season and have supplied us with fantastic polo shirts to make us look the part in a match day.

  43. The BBC (online) match preview for Aberdeen v County gave a decent chunk of attention to the 'fact' that Jim McIntyre won manager of the year. Worse than that though, every single match report I have read says County went on to win 4-0, which, according to the Aberdeen manager and all of their fans, was never the case.
