Abiding memory from Perth High is of a wooden toby (lesson about johnnies) being produced from out of a polly bag. Said banger then rolled off the desk and clattered on the floor. Whole class turned to see what the noise was. Inevitable screams and hilarity.2 points

Nice and easy parkrun on Saturday, didn't push too hard, other than a sprint finish with someone else! Grangemouth 10k this morning, and I'm happy with how that went - 39:24 for a 35 second PB! Delighted with that. Perfect course for it, almost perfectly flat and no scenery to distract!2 points

Think you'll find that clinching the Scottish Cup is the biggest ever result for The Famous: not beating second-tier dross like yourselves. Of course, lifting that major trophy is something that has surely been achieved by Hibs many times in the last centur... oh.2 points

You lot can hardly talk, your away support wore hawaiian gear to Firhill a couple of years ago. Shameful.2 points

Agreed and I love the way language changes and evolves with every generation. That said I still think anyone who uses "should of" instead of "should have" should have their existence terminated with extreme prejudice.2 points

The money arguments are more to do with drawing a team like Krasnodar. If you are getting papped out in a qualifier by an oligarch funded team you want to make some money out of it.That's where the qualifiers should be regionalised. It's not a glamour tie if it costs more to play it than you make from it.2 points

Aye, I'm the same with the uphill/downhill thing. I'm not quite equal pace on the two, but in races I pretty much always go past folk going uphill and get caught on the way down. It always annoys me as well. Nice parkrun in Kirkcaldy yesterday. One of our regulars, who was there most weeks running or volunteering almost to the end, died last week. She was well known for her bright gear, so in tribute a lot of folk ran yesterday in stuff as bright and garish as they could find, including the guy who's the main organiser running in a pink tutu! I was timekeeping rather than running, but nice to be there regardless. Good luck everyone with the marathons coming up in the next few weeks.2 points

Some of our fans are unbelievable. I'm not exactly Mr Happy Clappy but who the hell complains about finishing top 6 or getting a European spot? I actually feel sorry for those fans of ours that can't even enjoy the limited success we have. Supporting the team must be like some kind of perpetual Malpas season for them.2 points

2 for 6 now. Brechin the obvious losers on the OP's original forecast, Forfar the big winners with 4 points from the expected 0, Cowden also up on the prediction. Stenny are now officially back in the broon stuff.2 points

Dreadful performance. To think that some of our fans had the nerve to sing 'boring, boring County'. We didn't create a single meaningful chance. If I hear another person say 'Pogba gives us something different', I think I'll cry. It becomes all the more staggering each week that this imposter and wage theif keeps club legend and our best striker out of the team. Best of luck to County for the rest of the season.2 points

the OP is a Dunfermline fan and presumably a Fifer. Presumably the only sex education they get there is "run faster than your sister"...1 point

It was a public domain crowd-funding project with £9k already raised before this 'information'. So on the basis that you've put forward, no he didn't inform everyone. We'll await 'honest' answers from the poster in question before making judgement though.1 point

Yeah, this season should work out with every team playing 19 home and 19 away games. The Beginning Stages of... The Polyphonic Spree. Just an absolute nothing album. The lead vocals are awful, half the songs are identical and it ends with 36 (THIRTY-SIX) minutes of looped vocals. Gimmicky pish. I know they're meant to be fantastic live though so maybe it just doesn't come across on the record.1 point
