  1. I like how you emphasise the disparity in opinions among Rangers fans before immediately following up with a bigoted sweeping generalisation about another group - a group which is larger and more disparate than Rangers fans. Seems to be a daily occurrence for you. For a self-styled intellectual you really are a bit of a thick cúnt.

  8. That's the one. A beautiful through ball, after he'd danced through their midfield. The irony being we had to sell Harkins to pay our tax bill.

  12. Not on this season's evidence they're not Moonster. After a long spell of inactivity Ewings performed very well with three consecutive shutouts followed by a blameless performance at Cappielow, yet he was dropped at Paisley - f****** unbelievable. And dropped for a serial offender too; the shitty Waghorn daisycutter, the fumbled Lyle header versus Queens, the horrendous Morton winner - that's just a start on the home games alone, I've not got time or space for the rest. No, fans are falling for the 'Well, he's played at some big name clubs so he must be OK' schtick, despite the mounting catalogue of evidence before their eyes. And Stevie Aitken appears to suffering from the same blindspot.

  17. Have to say I feel a little bit sorry for Loy. His running last night against Dumbarton was exceptional. Witness a couple of lung busters to cover at left back. Some of his problem could just be down to game time, some players DO lose sharpness when getting splinters sitting on the bench but there is absolutely nothing he can do about it as Hemmings and Stewart are on fire and deserve their berths. Similar to Holt I hope he is just taking a little time to adjust and I'm fairly confident that Pep knows best and in those two we've got it right. Perhaps some Dee's need to review their expectations, as someone posted earlier our results in 2016 have been little short of phenomenal. Sometimes the football has not been great but given where we were three seasons ago !

  19. See I felt the opposite. Nade made a huge difference, and we actually threatened a few times going forward. Unlike the other games however we looked very shaky at the back, and I hate to go back to it, the 'keeper has to take some flack for that. I thought last night we were up against a much, much better team, who comfortably disposed of us without breaking a sweat. The St Mirren game was hard to take, because we were up against a team who aren't any better than us and we never looked like threatening. The less said about the Morton game the better. It was as bad as we've been since the 0-5 Falkirk match. I said it leaving the ground, but if we don't score - never mind win - in any of next three games, Aitken will be in a very difficult position, under as much pressure as any Sons manager in a few years. 0-2/9 available points I reckon would see a lot of fans publically turn against him. He's clearly got the players on side, and playing very much for him, but he looks to be tactically weak and has squad building has been completely unbalanced.

  21. Can't comment. Not even with my £600 varifocals can I read it. However, if you, Ned, Wunf and Dave J think it's shite then it's bound to be something I endorse.Whatever it is.

  22. I like how the spelling of Warhol changes during the piece. I also like the focus on his background. These Vanguard Bears don't even pretend that it's not all about hating Catholics, do they? In fairness though, I don't think any Rangers fans on here would endorse that stuff. While it's entertaining to laugh at, putting it on here isn't really any more relevant than putting on stuff about Doleman or Phil appealing for donations.

  36. I was too. However when it was brought up to Kenny MacIntyre on Twitter he admitted that he hadn't even of heard the story, which is pretty poor from a journalist who should be doing his research. Calderwood is a fantasist, and his version of events now don't match up with what happened at the time. For example: on the Sportsound interview he claims that he went to Spain to await a job offer from Killie that eventually never came. He then apparently received a phone call from a journalist to say that we were to appoint Mixu the next day and that's the first he'd heard from the club. At the time though, he claimed that he turned the Killie job down because of financial constraints: "To be honest, it was more to do with the budget and Sandy offering to leave. To have a fighting chance of making the top half of the table, the budget wasn't enough. It would have made it very difficult to take the club to the next level." Mixu Paatelainen then led us to the top six, and Kenny Shiels won the cup the following year - both after more budget cuts. His win record at Killie was terrible too. When he took over we were in eleventh place, one point ahead of Falkirk. The results from Calderwood taking over until the end of the season were: P- 19, W- 5, D- 4, L- 11. The truth is we were saved by Falkirk's incompetence rather than anything Calderwood did. We finished the season eleventh place, two points ahead of Falkirk... We also scored three away goals during his whole time at Killie. Three. The fact he is lauded with saving Killie is laughable, considering almost any competent manager would have done the same. I'd even argue that Jefferies probably would have too had he stayed. His little anecdote about being at Fowler's do' and the Killie fans being all over him and egging him on to shout at the chairman is bollocks too. I was there, and he was going about telling anyone that would listen how "Emeranka widnae get in the team I was playing to build here" and other nonsense. He was a laughing stock for the entire night. I'm sure the County fans will confirm this too, but he supposedly only travelled up to Dingwall on Saturdays and his brother took most of the training, and that was as big a reason as any why he didn't stay. The O'Leary stuff alone should mean he never works again.

  42. Me and my Mrs were at her friends house and my Mrs was having a bit of a bad day. Sat down to dinner and my wife got a couple of words mixed up in a sentence and frustrated by her inability to get anything right that day came out with the single greatest line I have ever heard. Trying to say "ignore me I've had my head up my arse today / too many things on my mind" she came away with.............. "Just ignore me, I've had too many things up my arse today" Blood vessels were burst we laughed so hard.
