Jesus H fvkkin Christ, did PlasticPaul really say that? Get with the programme Paul. The club has nothing to do with the P&L, THAT'S THE COMPANY! I expect a lot of greenies from the PlasticBares fans for correcting such an error. Yours, ever helpful. aDONis3 points

Scottish football needs a strong sense of hard work, honesty, traditional values and a wee sprinkling of that establishment Protestant 'thing' IMHO. We've really, really, missed not having that around since the Sevco picked up the baton that was so sensationally dropped by Mike Ashley. No, sorry, Charles Green. Fcuk. I meant Craig Whyte. No, erm, was it Sir Minty, the big hoose guy, Shooders the Keyboard, Mr Custard the bluenose clown?..... Some daft cnut threw away all that tradition, honesty, hard-working value and 'Proddy thing'. Tragedy, an absolute tragedy. Puts my own club's current relegation woes into perspective.3 points

Jackson Irvine started for the Olyroos in 5-1 win over Myanmar tonight. They've qualified for the next stage in Qatar during Jan 2016. ETA: Irvine was made Captain for the game and played the full 90 mins. Burgess was an unused sub.2 points

Football is an entertainment it has nothing to do with imaginary deities of any kind anyway aren't you the equivalent of the Judian Popular Front of some Abrahamic religion offshoot ? You can't hold morality from a book packed with genocide and land grabbing or are you more on the guy and the end bit he wasn't to keen on tax collectors that . The reformation brought forward education the ability to read and write and with that greater understanding, critical awareness something that is sadly lacking in the Sevconian mindset. You seemed to have missed the Scottish enlightenment, Voltaire will be spinning in his coffin at how some of us have regressed. As for sitting on the fence you do know the term is in reference to those not willing to offer an opinion. I said that somethings are best unsaid when it is either offensive, as in the Chris Graham debacle or makes you look like a nutter as it this case.2 points

Well Poz, thing is, with the mighty the the Rangers having 40,000 season ticket holders and a fan base of 500 million worldwide, you'd maybe be justified in saying that you'll find more students, luvvies and junkies heading for Ibrox Subway station 25 minutes before full time on a Saturday after Alloa's winner went in than you'll find at Firhill or St Mirren Park.2 points

Very honourable, but ultimately a meaningless exultation of a culture that never existed in the first place and has been resolutely forgotten since. If such a culture was so strong in the foundations of Rangers then other supporters would give some sort of credit for it; it is, however, little more than cringeworthy lip-service to somehow justify the more unsavoury behaviours of your wider support.2 points

The galling bit was the hypocrisy in not admitting Rangers to the SPL to avoid upsetting fans of the clubs there; but then putting SFL clubs under pressure to admit them in order to minimise any top flight pain. It was despicable.2 points

Mrs last night, just before we headed out for dinner: "Let's take my car and I'll drive as I don't want to wreck your new car". (she has a tendency to ram into stuff) One minute later we're in her car and she's annoyed at me as I "tut" as she kerbs one of her wheels reversing out of a space. The reversing sensors start to beep but she keeps going until she has rammed the front of my new car (innocently parked across the street, minding its own business). Good work. Had it a week and needs a new front bumper.2 points

Whit? The show was pretty terrible when they were hanging about Hershel's farm. This has been comfortably the most complete and entertaining series and the show is going from strength to strength rather than getting weaker imo. There might not have been a big climactic face off but still plenty to like in that episode and we're nicely set up for next series.1 point

He meant "here comes Rusev", meaning that he was assuming he was coming out. Can't believe so many are having difficulty with that.1 point

The best person for the job is almost always a middle aged white man who went to private school? Gender is not as big an issue in your chances of getting a top job as "class" or where you are from. People get into the good industries by contacts and knowing where to get internships, then how to go about climbing the ladder. Race is a pretty big handicap. Id say race > class > gender. Woman from a posh school that gets into a Russel Group uni is miles ahead of a guy from a low performing school, which is much more likely to be in a low income area.1 point

I agree. Was always impressed that Rovers competed with our side and led them for most of the season. We totally outspent them and I believe they were part time and full time. If anything they always looked fitter and more organised and it was a good counter to our footballing side with two wingers. We simply couldn't handle their route one stuff or set pieces and if it wasn't for his crazy decision to drop McGurn they might have hung on. I'd rather have seen 11 tough to beat cloggers this season than the utter failure on the park. Murray to an extent is still copying his formula at raith and he's doing ok. To be honest I thought JJ would have set us up in a similar mould and have been very surprised to see a lightweight side under his stewardship. Sometimes you just need to make the best of what you have and McGlynn always did that.1 point

It's not just the results though, the football we've started to play has been given a spark of life. Slowly but surely we are starting to see a bit of a good atmosphere return to Starks Park. I've thoroughly enjoyed the last few outings to the football and it's been a long time since I've been able to say that.1 point

Was at the meeting at St Mirren Park too. It was fckin embarrassing to hear him. Sadly, I sat n watched him, knowing full well it would have been the same shite David Beattie would have spouted had he had the balls to meet the fans at Firhill.1 point

lest we forget, your self destruction should serve as a warning to all, killed by your own hubris. The fact that after 3 years having spent £70 million on putting the other uber diddy teams to the sword with a few lolfests on the way you are now in the red, not only that, the self inflicted wounds and so many laughathons along the way yet at no pint is there ever an admission of we are collectively dicks, who have fallen for the same trick over and over again. The vacuous emblems and claims to keep you subservient to another bunch of dubious character over the last 25 years has been enthralling. Come see who is running Sevco now and the regurgitating the same claims is hilarious yet here we go round again, someone one has to say they have deep pockets and you turn into some pre teenage girl at a one Direction gig. Nice deflection but if you and your ilk had more critical awareness about those you claim are the 'good guys' or have wealth off the radar then these threads wouldn't be the schadenfraude voyuerism fests they are. So to highlight my interest in the solution to the dog shit filled pavement of an organisation you were and have rejuvenated into the Minty daydream was a series of flecing supporters, other peoples money and the banks basically a ponsi scheme and as soon as someone said I want my money back it was exposed, agree or are we just going induce the usual amnesia, prior to that you had Lawrence Marlborough who again just ran out of money, his own, in his defence but then you weren't exactly attracting full houses as you weren't throwing money you didn't have on Tore Andre Flo it was more Colin Jackson and Gregor Stevens. Craig Whyte was the Lee Harvey Oswald, Sir Dave done what every egotist will do is throw the woman and children out of the lifeboat just so they can have their personal space, he got rid to save himself. The others that have followed Chucky could smell a quick buck to be made and with no concern other than that brought out the same empty phrasebook to entice the gullible keeping the Salary on and playing the victim card. The response of the hordes to those players who refuse to TUPE over was and still is disgusting but displays the mentality of the average supporter and Green's reson d'être was to get the £ rolling in as it would be soon gone. When they brought MA and started to sell the off the trinkets like the merchandising in order to keep the facade you were cash rich. The last honest guy to walk through the doors at Ibrox was the american guy Murray who within days, (see the difference between honesty and duplicity) that the original Rangers had a £30 million blackhole and you chased him. in stark contrast DK is still reviewing the financial situation after 3 weeks, you would have to be pretty niave to digest that one. So now another regime promising a return to the Minty era using your wallets utilising the same tried and tested methods of previous who either to fleece yous or financially ruined the club or themselves. So DK is so respectful of the SFA rulesI wonder what the SARS thinks of this road to demascus change. You concentrate and attack those who comment and leave the governance of your 2nd version to Paul Murray, I wonder who will pointing and laughing loudest and you are again skint after the next share issue that will keep you running for another year. I fully admit to rubbernecking at carcrashclusterfuck FC 2012, it may make me a bad person but thankfully not gullible.1 point
