Scotland fans who can't sing '500 Miles' properly, and sing the 'na na na' bit when it isn't sung in the song, after the first verse.2 points

The galling bit was the hypocrisy in not admitting Rangers to the SPL to avoid upsetting fans of the clubs there; but then putting SFL clubs under pressure to admit them in order to minimise any top flight pain. It was despicable.1 point

It's not just the results though, the football we've started to play has been given a spark of life. Slowly but surely we are starting to see a bit of a good atmosphere return to Starks Park. I've thoroughly enjoyed the last few outings to the football and it's been a long time since I've been able to say that.1 point

Yeah. I go to a few of their midweek games. A decent set up they`ve got. Just not the same though. My heart skips a beat every time I lay eyes on the corrugated sheet fence at the railway end1 point

Aye, if you're 14 or under as has already been stated. I took the kids a couple of years ago and it was embarrassing watching grown men in the crowd going nuts like the shit was real.1 point

A video popped up on my Facebook of a bit of the wrestling last night. It involved a guy walking backwards like a crab towards a guy apparently out cold, but who then woke up and started to get up (very slowly, he seemed quite old). The tag line to the video was something like "absolutely unbelievable, Wyatt can't intimidate Taker!". If there's one way to definitely not try to intimidate someone, I'd say it's walking backwards like a crab how can people seriously watch this stuff? The acting is utterly dreadful if that's what it's always like1 point

OK folks, a Q&A with Ian Murray, including questions submitted by the fans via social media, is now online. Read it all here: https://thedumbartonterrace.wordpress.com/2015/03/30/ian-murray-qa/1 point

Can't really be arsed going into it again but basically: went to the pub (was reasonably quiet) near my house just on the way back from somewhere, got a drink whilst watching part of a game. I finished mine before the end, couldn't be bothered getting another one as I was just going home as soon as the others were ready - barmaid was rude and threatened to throw us out. The woman got sacked later on and I have happily been in there since and spent a lot of money. I took the moral of the story to be that you shouldn't be rude to customers or you'll lose custom. A very inspiring story of triumph over an evil oppressor.1 point

Next Goal Wins Documentary film about the American Samoa football team. Once beaten 31-0 by Australia this film follows there progress in 2011 with Dutch Head Coach Thomas Rongen as they attempt to win there 1st ever competitive game. Was an enjoyable watch with everything from transgendered players to the story of the tsunami that hit the island a few years back. Football fans should enjoy it. 7.5/101 point

Barnes was a terrible manager, of that there is no doubt. But his point that other terrible managers seem to make a living from the game is a fair one. I doubt it is anything as overtly racist as skin colour but rather who their friends and contacts in the game are based upon where they grew up, and who they were pals with in their playing days. You would need to be pretty daft to see that we are now in an age where the law of averages would suggest we would see more black former players coming through into management and it doesn't seem to be happening.1 point

This is actually something more common now and pretty annoying. Folk who justify being a bit of a moron by putting "lad" after it. You're not a lad, you're a dick and nobody's impressed.1 point

Keith Jackson: None of this is the new owners' fault, all they're doing is trying to mop up the mess of the last three years' worth of spivs and charlatans.... It's all WH Ireland's fault too. So, if I've got this right, it isnae' Potless Paul and the convicted tax fraudster's fault (although both have previous high level involvement at the Rangers), it isnae' Charlie Green's fault - he blamed Craigie Boy Whyte, it isnae' Craigie boy's fault, he inherited Minty Moonbeam's mess, and Minty Moonbeams says it isnae' his fault, they were doing fine until Whyte duped him. So, it must be Mr Custard the Clown's fault. What a cnut.1 point

I think we should all start gratuitously dropping the age of our clubs into the conversation whenever we mention them, and throw in words like "tradition" just to see how odd it looks when any other club does it. e.g. I'm looking forward to watching 70 year old Stirling Albion, take on Forfar Athletic today. Hoping for three points so the Binos can return to our rightful place in mid-table of the 3rd tier of Scottish football. Because the fans have suffered enough these last few seasons and we deserve better, especially with all the traditions and stuff, and did I mention our proud 70 year history? I did? Good. We Are Also The People."1 point

I think Murray is being misquoted and he simply couldn't remember if their history is 1, 4, or 3 years.1 point

Looks like Riis has been sacked. Don't agree with Tinkov very often, but ridding the sport of Riis would be great. Vino next please.1 point
