  1. Tell you what, why don't you ask us nicely? Rather than firing the indiscriminate bigot machine gun at all and sundry because you've been so arrogant as to decide what we mean, ask. Dear Scottish Football, I hope this finds you well? As you are no doubt aware, we're having an absolute mare at the moment and we would really much rather that you didn't use your favoured term for us. as it is our turn to play the victim just now. We recognise that you do not attach any sectarian value to the term in question, but we do, and we are an awfully sensitive lot and will do absolutely anything to drag a foreign conflict into the otherwise beautiful game of association football. We're dicks like that. As a bit of a quid pro quo we promise to stop singing about the walls in Ireland, bathing in catholics blood and throwing coins at the away support. Further we admit that we're cheats, a new club and that Ian Durrant dived just to slur the good name of one of the finest footballers in Scottish history. We look forward to proceeding on this new and productive basis and wish you all the very best for the coming season. Lots of love Team Sevco x

  2. Screw that, that's a great poll for Yes, on a traditionally bad methodology for yes, No ahead by a literal bawhair, a weke to go and with the onslaught of the last week, the Yes vote held up.

  3. Some of them were total fannies but between that Big Debate thingy and the wee C4 news Youzef/Marra segment, it struck me that the 16 year olds were no less knowledgable or articulate than the people you get on any political audience participation thing. If anything they came across much better than your average old, simpleton fucker on Question Time or any of these shows. Regardless of how they vote next week, I think it's right that they can. Let's face it, young people are amongst the most undeservedly shafted in the fallout of the crash. The fact that seemingly vindictive, entitled old people hold so much power has worked against youngsters massively. A younger vote would be healthy.

  4. Many of them know as much, if not more about politics and the economy than a lot of the adults who will be voting. They are far more switched on to new media and can research far more than the majority of those in the 60+ bracket. They will also be affected by this decision far more than the majority of the electorate. Regardless of which decision is taken, it is absolutely right that they lowered the voting age as much as is practically possible.

  5. Just saw this car for sale. I could cope with the fact that it is left hand drive but there is something else about it that I could never buy it because of this. Can you see the problem?

  6. I was in Asda there, while at the self-checkouts I noticed a member of the staff with only one arm picking up dumped baskets. Seeing him struggling with lifting and collecting the baskets, I decided to ask him if he needed any help. Instead of asking him this, I went for the first thing that came to my head with: 'Do you need a hand?' followed by ' I couldn't even handle them with two arms', without realising. When I fingered out what I said I quickly made my way out of Asda before anyone noticed what I had said. Much to the glaring stares from two old woman, who look at me as if I chopped off the guys arm. Safe to say I won't be going back into Asda in Glasgow again for a while.

  7. There's nothing wrong with this. I'd say the electorate is more informed about this than any other vote in the last 100 years. Not that this is saying much, but I think a lot of people are giving it a go that would previously not have even looked at a manifesto. I've been pleasantly surprised by the chat I've heard at work. It's been good natured and a pretty good grasp of the issues from most people.

  9. Hmmm. Where to start? Seeking investment from Interpol's most wanted. Begging for operating capital to get you through the next couple of weeks. Voting to boycott games (after buying season tickets). Managed by a mercenary, money grabber. Board pursuing multiple, competing agendas. Sold (gave away) your club shops. Attendances below break even. Sold the naming rights to your ground for a pound. Only 2 home league games between now and the end of October. (Some) fans actively campaigning for the removal of members of the board. I wouldn't say you were on the up quite yet...but you may soon get to a point where the only way is up. Or it could mean another untimely death in The Rangers family of clubs.

  11. Rangers creditors got funk all. Pars creditors got funk all. Rangers got liquidated. Pars exited administration. Rangers assets got bought by asset stripping spivs who milked the fans for millions. Pars are a community owned club, committed to living within our means. The Rangers spunked absurd wages on average players to win lower league titles. Pars have a team full of young players that the fans are right behind. In short...Rangers died. The Pars survived. I'd prefer it if we had not adopted the same business model as Rangers (RIP) and left many local businesses to pick up the tab for our board's greed and deceit. However, I'd rather be where we are today than trying to pretend that I'm not financing a massive, ongoing, fraudulent, lining of spiv pockets every week.

  19. It strikes me as a very Scottish characteristic to naturally not believe in ourselves but as soon as someone says we can't do something, to think "well f**k you then, we can do it". Hopefully the DK's are a natural response to being bombarded with talk of an apocalypse and by next week many will have calmed down and decided to vote Yes. ^^^ Knowingly clutching at straws with the DK figure.

  20. Well, there has been a year long hunt for 'shy no' by the pollsters, of which the Kellner correction is the obvious example. There is not even any real anecdotal evidence to suggest it either - it's your opinion that it favours Yes and you could well be right, at the same time the sheer weight of negative press Yes gets and particularly in the last couple of weeks could easily make folk shy about admitting a yes vote in the face of being told they don't love their families or they are voting for a financial basket case. Not saying your wrong, just saying that there is perfectly legitimate arguments for why it might favour the other way as well.

  21. I'll be honest, on green issues I'm in the tinfoil hat wearing side alongside Reynard and yet I find even the chance that we could produce all our electricty from renewables an exciting prospect, I've openly stated that I've voted Tory since 97 but I realise that when I've listened to speakers talking about poverty and foodbanks my subconcious mind forces me to look downward in shame, effectively I'm taking part of the blame on my own shoulders without realising it at the time. I hope that regardless of outcome this vote acts as a catalyst for a new vision that the majority of us can fall behind, I believe our youth holds the key to that and they are now engaged.

  23. Even if there is a no, I think the blatant bullying will guarantee a referendum II in 5-10 years. I think it is a phyrric victory if they win. A year ago, independence was a vague aspiration except for a committed minority, now it is a passionate desire by a much larger body of people.

  27. It's aw their fault ? bah haa Text book standard wummery Benny if I do say so. The standard format for your mob, derail and deflect at anything you can turn into an argument about something else to score some brownie points. Tactic two, pick on one poster in particular in numbers and veraciously attack their person till back up arrives and then attack them by claiming they posted something Rangers fans take offence too. Tactic three, just ignore all the difficult questions by avoiding an answer because it's a fucking trap that will make you look stoopid. therefore post a funny gif or say what you had for a meal. Tactic four, suggest in a post something that is a complete no go but word it carefully to get out of any infringement and watch the P&D's go ballistic while The Rangers fans claim innocence. Tactic five, if all else fails log into an alias and dish out as many red dots as possible.

The desperate actions and scrapping of the barrel by a fud making a huge arse out of himself by posting unfounded accusations at me, AND ! couldn't fucking help his mental state of mind once again making a sentence out of something that is far far worse than being called the "H" word when I asked him not too because I do find the way you crow on about offensive as fcuk to me.

  36. And you can take that pish, and get it the f**k out of my football. What really underpins my utter disdain for any old firm fan is that they tie themselves to an organisation that promotes the very thing that has absolutely no place in sport; racial, religious or political rivalry. You get all uppity because you don't like your nickname and yet you give your money to a club that promotes this rivalry shamelessly and is now linked to both local and international organised crime. If you had a shred of decency or credibility you wouldn't call yourself a 'Rangers' fan, you'd be too ashamed.
