  8. Go to your local bike shop and ask if they have any boxes that bikes were delivered in, as they just chuck them A couple of guys did this when we went to Majorca last year and it worked a treat Go to your local Wickes,Homebase,B&Q etc, buy some of this, split it and fit it round the frame & forks for added protection http://www.wickes.co.uk/Pipe-Insulation-Byelaw-15mmx1m-PK3/p/210010

  18. The amount of people who don't realise that we're offering Spence a contract because if anyone wants to take him they'll need to pay us a fee is startling. It won't be much, but it'll definitely be something.

  19. Guilty pleasure of mine is when someone emails you with a read receipt attached. I always click no. It pisses off one particular person in my office, even though she can see me from my desk.

  20. If a Hibs fan wants to give us money so that they can watch a high class side, then fair enough - if it means they get to see Man City as well, that's probably a bonus.

  22. Really thought Mullen would be a useful guy to have in our squad this season to play in either full-back position and centre mid. Wouldn't think he'd be expensive either.

  23. Watching 'Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled' last night, and he told a story about years ago when he was working catering at Wimbledon, and he worked for 2 weeks pretty much solely with an Irish guy name Jim Byrne. He talked about how they laughed for basically 2 weeks solid, and that the guy was one of the funniest guys he has to this day met. They went their separate ways once Wimbledon was finished and years later he got a letter from the guy's girlfriend telling him that he had died. He was visibly getting choked up speaking about him, and just mentioned about how, even before getting that letter, he would think about Jim and the impact he had on his life despite only knowing him for 2 weeks. Aaaaanyway... it got me thinking about people who've impacted my life who i'm no longer in contact with. In my first job, i was 17 and it was a nightshift warehouse job. Easy enough, but really mind-numbing if you were working with guys who weren't interested in talking. There were a lot of good guys in that job, but there was one in particular, Davie, who still is the funniest guy i've ever met in my life. You know that way when you laugh until you're genuinely struggling for breath? He had hundreds of stories and his patter was just class. A squad of us from the work would go to Oban for the weekend every year, and they were some of the best times of my life. I worked in that job for 7 years when they announced that they were relocating to Paisley which made it impossible for me to get to at the time, so i had to leave. That was about 3 years ago and i've lost contact with everyone from that work, though last i heard only a handful of guys i worked with moved to the new location. As soppy as it sounds, every now and then i still think about Davie. Would love to meet him again.

  27. Sorry I forgot how important (precious) you are.Quite sad how eager you are to bend over and touch your toes for 1 of the glasgae teams. Would at least be better if yous saved the money for a season when you have even the slightest chance of promotion. Thundermonkey = helmet.

  34. i'm thinking of getting a huge phallus on the side of my face. the idea is for the balls to start just to the side of my ear, with the shaft linking the balls to the tip, which would be located just at the corner of my mouth:
