  1. Not really, if someone has been fucked over by a customer then they may find that they do not have the money to pay their taxes. This possibly happened to some of the Rangers' suppliers when they were shafted by your old company/club. What Rangers did was wilfully withhold payments due to meet running costs. This is not the same thing. Go away and hae a read of this http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/helpsheets/vas-factsheet.pdf and then tell me that you are not posting pish about HMRC and CVAs instead of trying to pull me up with utter nonsense. One of the first conditions, and one that Rangers failed would be:

  2. Its good to see that you've taken the descent down the leagues well. Winning a derby is always good, and to do so while winning a league in the process would've been nice. However, it would have absolutely ruined our club in terms of finances due to the infrastructural costs from the SPL and their requirements. Instead, we carried on plugging away maintaining the status quo until Rangers went tits up and our chairman managed to lead the way for change. Regardless of how you look at it, we've come out stronger than before. Unlike yourselves, we've managed to maintain our dignity while reducing our debt. You might have won the league, but I'm sure any Rovers fans would say that things have worked out in our favour. I'm sure that winning that game was good for you. But for us, beating Sevco to send the likes of McCoist, Mohsni and McCulloch away greeting alongside 16,000 of their horde enraged was something else. I won't speak for anybody else, but I'm far happier that we won that game than the derby. Regardless...

  3. I don't feel any of the dread I felt before the semi - The fear that Rangers might beat us if we played as shite as we have several times this season. I'm really looking forward to the Final. It's wide open. One minute I feel Saints will win given that they really have the measure of us this season and have pumped us twice and won a third game. Our worst performances this season have been against Saints and a lot of that is because they stopped United playing. The next minute, I'm confident that we can beat anybody on the day, and that the slick, professional United will turn up for the occasion. Either way, I'm going to enjoy it. Obviously I'll be gutted if United lose, but in all honesty, I'd be happy to see St Johnstone win. It would be great for Perth, and one in the eye for all these crowd wankers who bleat about our wee fan bases. I think the atmosphere in Glasgow will be great, much like the 2010 final against Ross County. No trouble, no animosity, just a bunch of football fans having a bloody good day. Despite all that though......... MON THE SHED!!!!

  4. ^ ^ ^ Desperate rewriting of history. Rangers fans embraced the SFL 3rd division when it came apparent that they were not getting rid of what Tedi deemed as an illegal transfer embargo, Rangers fans unlike the Hearts fans couldn't face supporting a severely weakened squad of players in the SPL and realistically facing relegation like Hearts have suffered through admin. Rangers fans embraced the SFL 3rd division because they thought that the SPL Armageddon was imminent without a Rangers club in the SPL, they were rubbing their hands and smiling gleefully at the peddled demise of around 5 or 6 SPL clubs and desperately wanted other clubs to suffer death by liquidation even though the stupid cnuts believed that only Rangers could survive liquidation. And if needed I could dig up No8's rant about it's the SPL without sanctions or we are off to the SFL 3rd division and fcuk you all.

  5. I thought Davidson was absolutely diabolical on every occasion I saw him this season (only twice, in fairness). An absolute liability, playing centre back. Should've been sent off in the game we lost the unbeaten record. We don't want him and he doesn't want us. Absolutely delighted if that's the situation. An absolute fud of a man.

  6. In general, not you specifically, the Hearts fans have handled their insolvency event with far more class imo. Would the Rangers fans have embraced a season of guaranteed failure the way the Hearts fans have? I severely doubt it, it's not the Rangers way. I would go so far as to say that a great deal of Rangers fans are part of the problem, not the solution. I agree with most of your other points especially the neutral administrators being vital, but I don't remember any Rangers fans complaining when you were snapping up a load of then SPL players it was pretty obvious you could ill afford. In fact I think the general consensus was GIRFUY.

  7. The last couple of weeks have been a bit crazy for me. My little band (acoustic duo) have recorded St Johnstone's Scottish Cup Final song and we've been receiving a fair amount of media attention - interviews with STV, Radio Tay, The Courier and Perthshire Advertiser, as well as articles in the Scotsman and the Daily Record. Definitely not used to this kind of exposure, but it's been brilliant. This is spam, but you can listen to the track here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSAiEALN4eY I definitely took a gamble when I wrote it, as it's nothing like your usual cup final songs. However, I've been relieved to see that the general reception has been really good. Anyway, apologies if you hate it. If you do like it, please feel free to download/share the song (even if you're not a Saints fan.) After the first day of sales, we were at #3 in the Amazon Folk Charts and just outside the top 100 in the iTunes Pop Charts (ahead of recent hits by Miley Cyrus and Pharrell). Not so 'Happy' now, are you Pharrell?! Classic banter.. Anyway, hope you like it.

  8. Bump!! I bought a Boardman and I'm really impressed. Been out almost every day since I got it and I'm finding longer journeys are very easy. Going out for my longest ride ever tomorrow - Kilmarnock to Kilbirnie via Kilwinning and back to Kilmarnock via Stewarton.

  10. This will be the last time on here til after the final due to a manic week ahead with work so just want to wish United all the best, hope the fans enjoy the day BUT I want Saints to win and our fans to have an even better day! The Sunday after will be my daughters 1st birthday (she was born after the Motherwell game, the wife went into labour as I was on the pitch at Mcd, so a mad rush back to Nairn for the birth) I'm very nervous as it's unchartered territory for me. I don't see either team as the underdog, two pretty well matched teams that will be followed by tremendous support. What's not to look forward to?!

  12. ^^^ This. One of 'Rangers' main problems had been the fans and the 'clubs' unwillingness to accept their current predicament. Well done on Hearts for doing it right.

  15. I support Saints but live in Dunbartonshire (a Paisley exile). I have followed Dumbarton's progress with interest since settling in this neck of the woods, and it has been great to see them coming on in the manner that they have under Murray. Indeed, my better half supports a couple of guys with learning disabilities who have STs for the Sons, so she has been to a good few matches this season, and has (somewhat grudgingly, it has to be said) started taking an interest in how they are getting on. I would rather Murray stays where he is, as I think that would be the best outcome for all interested parties - including St Mirren. I'm not suggesting that he wouldn't be able to do a job for us, but there would be a pile of pressure on him before he even crossed the threshold of St Mirren Park. A sizeable number of Saints fans don't really feel that it is the right time to replace Danny, so they would - quite reasonably - be looking on with a keen interest as to what extent Murray would be able to kick us on. As a rule, we are a shower of greeting faced b*****ds as a support, so he'd need to have a very thick skin. He would also be faced with a significant re-building job amidst the uncertainty surrounding the sale of the majority shareholding of the club. At least Danny kens the score on that front. Nah, not for me. Poor timing, and I remain to be convinced that letting Danny go is the best way forward for Saints just now. Murray should get another year under his belt at Dumbarton, and take things from there.

  16. LEST WE FORGET 3 Clyde Football Club Statement: Voting Intentions Fri, 13th Jul 2012 9:14am The proposals to change the league structure, its governance and distribution model are indeed for the good of the game. What is not for the good of the game are the circumstances in which it has been proposed. It is only on the table for short-term financial reasons. Neil Doncaster told the SFL clubs that the SPL would not allow Rangers to join the Third Division as the loss of £16m would not be countenanced, he is also on record as having said that a 16 team league would cost £20m, therefore we can hardly have confidence that the focus on finance will allow these proposals to come to life. What is also not for the good of the game is 30 clubs being asked to vote knowing that a vote for Resolution 1 has a very high chance of being ignored by the SFA attempting to avoid any suggestion of what they perceive to be a dereliction of their duty. Such statements undermine basic democracy. Equally, voting blind to admit an organisation who has no membership of the SFA at a time when there is no vacancy in the SFL is not for the good of the game. Almost everything about this long run process is not for the good of the game. It would not be for the good of the game to compound the problems of a club by refusing entry to the SFL for Rangers Football Club. We will therefore take that leap of faith and vote in favour of Resolution 1 despite not a single word of reasoning having been provided to support the Resolution. On the basis that short-term financial drivers have not been for the good of the game in the past, then we will not support Resolution 2. It has unfortunately enmeshed positive change for the game with a proposal to admit Sevco Scotland Ltd to the First Division for the purposes of shoring up the short-term financial model which has to date failed The Game. The interests of the game will be served by decisions being made genuinely for the long-term benefit of the whole of Scottish Football, and not short term benefit for a few clubs. Our decision has at times had to defy logic and question our own short term interests as others focus on theirs. Given that the SPL and SFA have signalled a clear intention to act against any decision that might result in Sevco Scotland Ltd being admitted to the Third Division, then the limited logic left in this process points to them as believing they have the monopoly of wisdom on what is good for the game. We can expect that, no matter what the SFL clubs decide, Sevco Scotland will not be playing in the Third Division in the coming season. How more short-termism can be for the good of the game really does defy logic. When the dust settles on this affair, it would be good to think that we can all get back to watching football. Sadly, no matter how it turns out today, some will not return to our game.

  17. I made my position perfectly clear two days after administration .... Rangers should have been relegated to the sfl3 for the behavior of then chairman Craig Whyte. You keep casting up a drunken rant when i had had enough of half wits like you talking utter nonsense. I am sure you will find my original post if you look hard enough...it was posted in the 16th of February . I might be wrong but i believe only Bendarroch has openly enjoyed Killie..Hearts and Dunfermline suffering. I take absolutely zero comfort from it and wish them all the best. I would wish what we have suffered on no other Scottish club.

  19. Not having a go here as you clearly sound more balanced than many bears, but I do believe the willingness to go to SFL3 was mainly down to (1) the prospect of a transfer ban meaning they were facing a season of being beaten as often as they won, (2) a willingness to say GIRUY to any of the chairmen who wanted RFC in the SPL for financial reasons. Neither of the above motivations was particularly noble.

  22. "Embraced" is hardly the apt word. They said it through spite. They mistakenly believed it would harm the SPL and Scottish football in general.

  23. You know i do admire your perseverance but you'll never get the response's that you're after, you're just too likeable and i can't bring myself to do my usual.... There's a bit myth growen about how Rangers fans handled admin/liquidation, sadly too many people take it for granted now. Around £6m wages and nearly £70m spent in 18 months, the SPL players the club signed were not the issue here (assumning you're talking about players signed in the last 2 seasons)

  24. Ann Budge at Hearts continuing to do today, what every owner/chairman/director at Rangers should have done on must be now 3 opportunities when they have failed to structure the company and the works team and build a well structured fully functioning football club with a long term strategy. Everyone of them has failed to be ruthless when it has come to the club structure and the football team.

  37. I opted to have a wee read and it is quite a cool story tbf. Not at all sure whether I readily accept it as 100% true but there is no denying that in the main, the jambos appear to have handled their admin event - at all levels - with a bit more, dare I say, dignity. Moving to Edinburgh soon and this latest pish going on, which is clearly dividing the Rangers support like never before, has got me wondering what the fk I'm actually giving my support to. It's an absolute mess, I don't trust the current board but when I see some of the pish spouted by DK and try to weigh it all up, well, I'm no convinced by him either. As I said moving to Edinburgh, so I'm thinking, why the fk not? Hearts look like they are going to be a proper fans' club and after supporting such a big club as Rangers, I don't think I could realistically expect to get much of a hit from going to watch a proper diddy level club. It'd have to a club with a decent size of support and reasonable chance of winning something, so it's with a heavy Heart (scuse pun) I'm going to watch The Hearts next season. It could be tough going to the away end at Ibrox and I may give the Rangers games - home & away - a miss initially, couldn't risk jumping up to cheer a Rangers goal Anyway, next season - my team:- Hearts. I'll always have a soft spot and will have many great memories but everything is just getting more and more tarnished. My new girl's family are all jambos and I've been dreading the ribbing, she's not yet mentioned I'm a Ger and I'll tell her to leave it that way. I guess I'm just punch drunk. I've told my family and mates of my intention - it's only really my young brother and 2x pals I go to games with anyway - everyone's cool with it, though I'm not sure they believe I can do it, maybe I can't. That's it though, can't see me giving any more to the parasites that have ruined a great football club.

Andre Agassi once dropped outside the top 100 in the world after being world no.1 only to come back and reclaim the no.1 spot again. Form is temporary, class is permanent. Once he gets his new coach, you will see the old Murray in time for the grass court season.

  43. Betterbathrooms.com advert. First with the sniveling, snorting kid messing up his hair. f**k off. Second there's the fat old guy taking a dump searching for toilet paper. I'm trying to finish off my apple pie and custard here ffs. Third is that fat old lady in the bath who suggestively looks at you as she turns away *shudders* Finally there's the guy with the dodgy accent and terrible acting at the end. Comes across as an utter simpleton. All in all a truly shite advert that has left me a little angry. So when it comes down to me, Better Bathrooms.com have ultimately succeeded with their advertising style. Well done you c***s.
