You know how Rangers fans like to accuse us of jealousy, well right now, I'll admit to some. I'm genuinely a wee bit envious of people who happen to come from Kirkcaldy and have backed their team for good or ill and turned over a trump card today. Well done lads - it looked wonderful. They earned today's triumph, they value it and they won't forget it. It's possible to envy people the immediacy of their triumph, yet have a vicarious share.2 points

Me too. A few more performances like that and he'll have a few of us eating humble pie. It seems he gave his medal to McGurn as well. Top gesture.1 point

Wings Over Scotland is the work of a very strange and twisted individual. Some of its output is interesting and gives an alternative perspective on things, but it certainly can't be considered a credible source given the amount of absolute shite that comes out of it.1 point

Agreed I slated Lee Robinson after the Hamilton game but yesterday he was excellent and made me eat my words two fantastic saves well done Lee1 point

Hope that isn't Dougie Hills season over, thought he was immense yesterday. Understandable that he is injured really though, can't be easy lugging big fat Jon Daly round in your pocket for 120 minutes.1 point

Monkey Tennis - you're a moaning, miserable git (and that's me being kind). As for your constant whinging about McIntyre for God's sake give it a break.1 point

Hearty congratulations to Raith Rovers. Well done. Because of commitments at the Paul Burns Testimonial I missed the whole 90 mins but I saw the extra time. Great way to win it. Enjoy your night / week.1 point

Alright bears, never mind the technicalities and pedantic tittle tattle. How can you watch that and pretend it's Rangers? It must be tearing you apart knowing that when you were SFA members the first time around everyone went up against you with trepidation in their hearts, that can safely be replaced with expectation. The name Rangers used to be revered in the world of football, now it's laughed at. How does that make you feel? Do you think the club holding the current SFA membership deserve to display the badge?1 point

Absolutely delighted! 20 years on from the Coca Cola cup win and I celebrated the win today every bit as much as I did back then. Ok, the Ramsdens Cup maybe isn't as prestigious as the league cup, especially back then, and today I was watching on telly instead of being there in the flesh, but today I got to watch and share the win with my old man, something I didn't do back in '94 and have regretted ever since. Aye, I've had a bit to drink today too!1 point

It is just a marketing thing imo. You don't need anything but water unless you are doing over 10k. Even then it is best to restrict that to a minimal amount. New course pb at Pollok Park for me this morning. 18 mins 30 secs - so a new pb by 8 seconds. Well pleased with that!1 point

We are, and in modern times always have been, a yo-yo club. 12th club in Scotland is round about our historical average I believe? We are underperforming for the last few years due to financial constraints, but not hugely. And we are slowly improving. Last year we got from 5th to 3rd by a series of chance results on the last day, and never threatened the top. This year we are comfortably third and have an outside chance of automatic promotion - and that's without the star strikers we had for the last two years (Loy is great but he's not as prolific a goals corer as Taylor or Farid). The usual response to that is "aye, but the standard of the league has fallen". It's really not. The part time teams are better than they've ever been in the past because better players are staying part time now - they can make more money than being full time. People say the standard of the league has fallen every year - in 2004, people looked back to 1997 and so on. It's not all rosy by any means - there have been some really poor games - but there always is. I genuinely believe the directors are doing the best for the club, the pitch being the prime example. As for the fans representation, I really don't care about it. As soon as anyone gets close to the board they change their way of thinking, so I just don't think it works.1 point

I signed up but the lack of seedy chat is quite disappointing. I've swiped right at every single person too. Some right ugly folk.1 point

Give it 5 minutes and they'll all be on. Why the new Daario Naharis by the way? Not complaining, the other one reminded me of Andy Carroll a bit too much.0 points

Typical of this thread, no comment at all when polls are poor for pro-indy, but when they are better, suddenly the thread comes alive, selective or what?-1 points
