  1. Mrs Mozam gave birth to our baby girl Grace at 12.56 today. 8 days early and arrived via C-section due to being breach, but she's still perfectly healthy - 6lbs 1.5 ozs. Faither and mother both ecstatic and knackered.

  4. Does anyone know who Foxbarton was or his whereabouts now ? He must be due a Pie and Bovril knighthood or MBE for that classic piece. I can see his offering written on a scroll in glass cabinet , mounted in a P +B museum one hundred years from now.

  5. In isolation, a draw at the league leaders and likely champions is a good result for the league's bottom side. It's just unfortunate that all of the other sides picked up equally impressive results simultaneously. There is always a great clamour to come on to this thread and make a glib remark when things take a bad turn for us. And that's fine, it's harmless. However, there should be the same eagerness to congratulate Jimmy Nicholl and Cowdenbeath as their recent results have been superb and they've shown a terrific resolve not to allow Morton any encouragement. Indeed, we're actually four games unbeaten but you'd never know it such has been the form of Cowdenbeath and that shouldn't be lost in all the pointing and laughing at us.

  6. Spot on. I was referring, in particular, to a terminal fucktard who appeared from between two parked cars yesterday on my way to the game, absolutely nowhere near a junction, and then sauntered very slowly across the road acting the hard man. I was referring, in general, to the hard of thinking who try to be cool/hard by doing this, proving their fully deserved lowly place on the evolutionary ladder.

  10. I hope that all of the West Teams are given the opportunity to vote on this and every one rejects this ill thought madness, if indeed there has been any thought. If supporters wanted the travel and expense they would follow a Senior team. This can only lead to lower attendances and lower Income. You can be home in an hour from any fixture in the West and watch your team every week. Meaningless games involving time consuming expensive travel will ultimately affect home attendances as well as away games as folk get out of the habit of going every week.

  14. The only difference is that the normal start is at the Burrell Collection carpark and we join the circuit after the downhill section about 800m in rather than at the s bend. You then do 2 rather than 2 and a bit laps of the circuit before the finish. The normal course is about 10-15 secs faster IMO as you don't have the additional uphill section at the start.

  15. 1. Club owes millions to the the company shareholders. 2. Company says 'we'll take Ibrox off your hands and, in exchange, we'll write off that debt". 3. Company now has Ibrox and can rent it back to the club. 4. Club is once again debt-free. Unfortunately it's also asset-free. Which of those 4 steps gives the club enough cash to see them through the next few months? [Edited for crap typing]

  19. It's all about opinions and thats whats so great about these threads, gettin to read what everyone else thinks the way forward is. If the SJFA embrace the pyramid then brilliant, but I think this is very doubtfull. They apear deadly serious about this East/West merger and that really worries me. Especially having an East/West 2nd tier, utter fucking madness if you ask me. Tayport v Largs as a 2nd tier fixture, c'mon now geez peace!! Think the best way forward for West clubs is the 16 team divisions, scrap the sectional cup and take it from there.

  21. Ad Lib speaks the truth on this subject, the SNP was indeed split in two camps. one pushing for devo max as a stepping stone to independence, and one pushing for full autonomy right now. The latter camp won the fight, and we will see if the gamble paid off in 8 months.

  30. I have a lot of respect for Galloway & at least he's now proven himself human, he's wrong on Scottish independence, simple as that really. I think he's been too long out of the country to feel the actual groundswell of the folk. It's not rocket science & surely he's aware that a motorbike has more seats than the conservatives up here. So why when given the chance to peacefully get shut of the tories would he want us to vote to keep them ruling our lives? RESPECT Grimbo

  32. The Onion's Tips For Not Accidentally Murdering Your Girlfriend In today’s fast-paced world, it seems like just about any guy can accidentally kill his girlfriend at virtually any time. Here are some easy strategies to avoid inadvertently murdering your significant other: Be sure to avoid firing a gun in the general direction of your girlfriend, regardless of the situation. Shy away from doing anything that may cause your girlfriend a massive amount of blood loss, such as beating her, stabbing her, or shooting her multiple times. Consider performing a task that has a low risk of accidentally murdering your girlfriend, like giving her flowers, taking her to dinner, or letting her continue living and breathing. Remain generally cognizant of the fact that three gunshots to the head and torso will, in most situations, fatally wound a person, and that this fact will, therefore, likely apply to your girlfriend as well. If there is a locked door in your home and there is even a remote possibility that the person you’re currently dating is behind that door and could be immediately killed by the bullets you fire at the door, try not to fire a gun directly at that door. In general, if there is something that you think might cause your girlfriend to stop living, don’t do that thing.

  33. I've stated before on here and elsewhere, that I was willing to accept a lower standard of player and a more austere approach to the financial governance of the club, whilst in the lower leagues. The facts are, the club chose a different path and we are where we are with a bloated squad of high earners and a useless management team, hey ho fk all we can do about that now, it would seem. The club chose to behave like we're still a top league side, in fact a top 2 of top league side and pissed away 'the inheritance' so to speak, so the fkg least we should expect is the performances and entertainment value to reflect this. So it is not acceptable to be struggling to see off part-timers, wearing them down with superior fitness levels and that failing, iffy penalties. It won't happen but if Raith aren't gubbed in the Ramsden's final Ally and his wise-cracking pals should be binned for serious ineptitude. As for any possibility of failing to gain successive promotions fk off!
