  1. Into December we will be 3rd, only 2 points off second and 5 off the top - not bad at all.

  2. Actually, it was a fairly accurate reflection of the sub-human, social underclass which followed Rangers and now follows the tribute act. Someone post the photo of the dog chewing that c**t's leg please. It never gets old.

  5. There is no flaw or contradiction - the same knuckledraggers moved over to swallow swallow the clone rangers after the original club was liquidated.

  6. Dafuq did I just read ? Tinfoil hats at the ready for that one. Looking at religious numbers in a census to ascertain its 'RCs' bringing the rangers down. Not paying bills and sitting online coming up with daft theories instead of saving their team had nothing to do with it, it was all down to an increase in Catholics in Glasgow over a ten year period

  9. Yeah, you are correct. All these clubs should be honest with themselves and their fans. I doubt most people will let it bother them. I still shout for Caley you know? Caley died in 1994, it's just a part of my sports supporting history. My sports supporting history is the only important history to me. Your personal history may have seen a club you support win nine in a row but I have had the pleasure of supporting Scotland's true world record holders when they won 20 in a row in the top division. Which of us has seen more success? You are desperate to claim history which you were not even alive to witness, that is quite sad really. You should try to live life for the present and the future rather than trying to live off others' past achivements.

  14. As an occasional watcher my problem with Doctor Who is that it so often slides into a panto tone with constant knowing winks to the audience and hamming it up. Watching that episode tonight I thought there were some great ideas in there e.g. that a picture may contain a frozen world, but there was too much silliness to establish any proper dramatic tension. I suppose that is a bit harsh given that it's a kids show, but I still don't think that's an excuse for overdoing the comedic at the expense of the dramatic. Maybe Capaldi will help - should be miles better than Matt Smith who was shown up by Hurt and Tennant.

  15. Right. To get this thread back onto decent topics like quality tobacco. This week, I have some Peter Stokkebye Balkan tobacco, which is completely different to any of the normal Virginia lighter tobaccos we are used to here. Its an acquired taste but it is actually lovely. Probably a Marmite effort, youll either like it or hate it. It was £4.25 for 25grams (an ounce) I also bought a tobacco called Mac Baren silver cube, and if anyone likes the flavoured stuff then Id recommend this. The smell alone is incredible, its really fruity and it tastes unbelievable. Ive never smelled an aromatic tobacco as beautiful as that before. My stock tobacco is still Pueblo although I have been buying the new Pueblo blue which is a bit milder than the yellow original. I also bought a zig zag rolling machine for about a pound which is quite good if you want to roll up a batch if your going out or something and dont want to look like a fucking jake. And again, I must emphasise just how much real tobacco doesnt stink like that shit they put into factory cigarettes. It just doesnt linger at all. I cant believe I wasted s0o much time buying utter garbage. And with the fire safety pish coming in then factory cigs are going to become worse and worse. I have also noticed that many of these brands are now bringing out loose tobacco to di into what will become a much bigger part of the tobacco market. There's nothing like Tobacco: it's the passion of decent folk, and whoever lives without tobacco doesn't deserve to live. Moliere

  18. That's right because there is no difference between 6 guys getting lifted for fighting in Amsterdam and thousands of fans of the club formerly known as rangers trying to destroy a city.

  21. Keep dreaming Monkey. Any incarnation of Rangers cannot function without the support of such mind cripples inflating their attendances, so they will never do anything meaningful to rid their fanbase of them, in fact they are far more likely to pander to them than anything else.

  28. Oh-kay, so I'm out of sync with the general mood here? I thought it was a waste of John Hurt, I didn't like the resolution, the whole "last of the timelords" thing has been undone, and that "Doctor they never talked about" turned out to be no big deal after all. Furthermore, how on earth did they manage to kill every single Dalek just with crossfire? Did none of the Daleks have somewhere else to be at that time? The more I think about it, the more disappointed and angry I am about how they wasted it. ETA, clearly though, its worked for everyone else so far!

  30. Hard to say as i'll be mostly guessing. We know that he turned down Green 3 or 4 times previously, so i reckon we can say that he had doubts. Has he went in for what he believed to be the good of the club, to try to keep an eye on things (some of the CF stuff would back this up). (yes i know i've been critical of CF) Did he realise he was out of his depth with the sharks and conmen, yes. We all make mistakes and i think he made one here but did rectify it slightly by resigning. I don't think he should have touched the position with a barge pole and yes i'dl ove to know his reasons for doing so. Edit - It's also been suggested by sections of the media that he came in to support Ally when things weren't going to go good for him on the pitch.

  32. The 'Sink us and we'll sink you' part really does sum up why so many of us are delighted about what happened to that club. No humility, no contrition, just impotent threats.

  33. The looks on both of thier faces had me laughing for 15 minutes straight. But seriously, what the f**k was the second one when it was presumably alive at some point, and did it die being flattened by steamroller? I want to say duckbill platypus minus the duckbill, but if so, it's wrong on so many levels Tho, looking at it again, it may have spent it's life as a sevco fan who loved the sunbeds.

  35. Do you actually believe there wasn't a break in the time line or there weren't two clubs at the same time do you ????. Lord Nimmo Smith ruled that Rangers FC ceased to be a club on 3rd of August 2012 as stated in the SPL commission, but another club claiming to be Rangers Football Club Ltd played it's first ever fixture against Brechin a week before Rangers FC were formally declared no longer a football club. Which club would that be then Bendarroch ? . It would appear that the time line overlaps between these two clubs and that a seamless transition between the mythical companies does not actually exist does it .
