  6. It's taken about 15 months but I'm starting to really hate everyone else at my work. They are all female and they all hate men (or probably just me). The biggest thing that pissed me off was that one of them said to me infront of a group that "I don't talk much". Which can be true to an extent, but the fucking cringey small talk and conversation is unbearabe. Forgive me for not jumping into conversations about pregnancy, hen do's or your decrepit maws health because I really don't give a f**k. I can't make it obvious enough that all I want to do is go to work, do said work and go home. I think I need a new job. that's another thing; at every point in the year about 10% of the staff are off either on the sick or maternaty leave, yet they moaned and groaned when I had the cheek to ask for a day off because I had an emergancy dentist appointment as I'd been up the whole night with tooth ache. Just so it happened to be on my birthday, they conveniently brought that up as well. Clamped when I showed them the reciept which was satisfying.

  7. Does the appointment of Smith really matter that much to non-Rangers fans? It's probably a fairly sensible move I'd have thought. Smith is a figurehead who people trust, he won't be setting budgets and carving out marketing strategies.

  16. I think Vigurs is definitely my favourite County player since Franck Escalon. Not only does he saunter through games with a care free attitude, he also looks to saunter through contract negotiations with the same wild abandon. If I was Roy, I would phone him up offer him a two year contract and see if Vigurs will saunter down to sign it.

  18. I'm currently sitting on 22 points in division 1 on seasons. 2 games to play, need one point to finally get a league title. We all know what's going to happen next........... I'm actually scared to play these games because I just know I'm going to break lots of things.

  19. You couldn't be more wrong if you tried. If you are going to argue the case for and against quantum theoretical physics then you need to put it in a frame of reference. It's not something new, if we consider Max Planck as the origin, and was being discussed before the 1st world war. We were theorising about sub atomic particles when the most advanced weaponry was a rifle and a bayonet while charging across a muddy field on horseback. At that time almost everything was theoretical because we had not developed ways of testing and observing the results. As time has passed the simplest theories have been observed, documented then used to build further theories. Essentially this is why places like CERN exist, because the theories need vast amounts of energy to do the tests necessary. However when achieved this technology is providing evidence for theories that were devised 50 or 60 years ago. The Higgs Boson is a prime example of this. The Standard Model (which, to put it in it's most simplest of terms is effectively 'E=mc2 for the quantum world') defines the particles at a sub atomic level. As part of this we realised that there was a problem in terms of mass and how it is generated the subatomic particles in the Standard Model didn't have the properties to provide it and as we all know everything must have a mass, no matter how minuscule in size. The Higgs sat there being theorised since the mid 60's with people claiming it a flight of fantasy, or that it was (as your argument suggests) there to make up the numbers. It wasn't until we had the capability to perform experiments with extreme levels of energy, the LHC, that was started to see results that would hint towards the existence of the Higgs. What's interesting is that the observations matched the maths, but not quite in the way expected. I had argued for some time that there was likely to be more than just one type of Higgs (this is not some massive leap on my own, it was a recognised viewpoint within the field) and this has come to fruition it seems, at least with the data we have now, as there seems to be a Higgs field rather than a single boson (a boson is just a subatomic particle type) and we will see what the results are when the LHC is revamped and provided with more power. There are certain scientific criteria that need to be met in order to officially announce something as "real" or "true" and that hasn't quite been matched with the Higgs. Not officially. The mass (no pun intended) of evidence behind it though will mean that the revamped LHC will probably tick that off the list sometime in the next couple of years. However the theories and the mathematics to back them up was solid, and the results were as expected it's just that as an analogy we've theorised where in the haystack there is a needle, we've then found that location but it turns out to be a pin. Both meet the criteria of what was needed; metal, sharp, tiny, surrounded by lots of hay, etc. That example shows us that theoretical physics is built up on a base of a multitude of other results, theories and observations. It's simply not possible to come out with a credible theory just by saying "Well we need a value of 4 at the end of this and if we somehow squeeze these two 2's into the other side of the equation then we're sorted". These things are studied intensely and built on (as well as dismissed - I am in no way suggesting that every new theory is valid and just waiting confirmation) until we get to a point where we can actually do some sort of experiment to provide observations and results to back the theory up. TL;DR: It's totally incorrect to suggest modern quantum theories such as Dark Matter are somehow scribbled on the back of a fag packet, and is fine so long as the numbers add up.

  25. Nothing to do with that BP,it's more the it's OK Walter is the new NEC. Walter is complicit in killing the old club and ran away before it died pocketing how much from the club ?,plus he won titles and trophies with a squad that I could have won trophies with because they spent so much on wages. Walter is not he is cracked up to be by the support and if anything he is a shark lining his own pockets from the blind loyalty of your support. Plus he was fucking shite as a manager at Everton and got the sack he couldn't even make a club that was run properly financially be successful if he was so good a manager. Walter has been bought by Green and now used by the Rangers board to pamper to the support and that is it in a nutshell.Smith will walk away when shit hits the fan saying there is or was feck all he could do about it but will help the Ver 3 Rangers get to where they belong at a cost of course .

  26. So Walter the cardigan is the new NEC of The Clone Rangers and according to the orcs everything will turn out rosy so we will buy ST's now ? This is the manager who lead Rangers with PLG's squad after he got the boot to a UEFA final. Also used EBT's at Rangers which effectively killed them off and I may add he actually increased their usage during the cardigans reign to lure in players. The manager who managed a squad who's overall wage budget if it was by the books legally would see them top Celtic's wage budget by at least £10 million but the orcs insist they did it on a lower budget. The manager who seen the Tsunami coming years ahead and decided to step down the season before Rangers went bust. I could list more but this guy is only in it for the money and because he won titles and trophies for Rangers on hugely inflated budgets the support feel he is a legend even when this man used EBT's to the extent it killed the club in the first place ?. Walter Smith will let the fans down big time when he fucks off again if he sees another financial Tsumani heading for Ibrox.Rangers need a financial bandage with splinters to stabilise the the blood cash flow and what did they get ? a plaster that everyone likes the look of ! . You got to hand it to the Clone Rangers boardroom they know the orc mentality and how to get the daft b@stards to buy into the dream .

  29. I don't think he'll get much more than Moyes would. If anything I'd imagine Martinez will work under a sell to buy system like we have done before. And yes I am concerned Mo will take these players, more so Baines because Leighton Baines is a wonderful player and the coolest guy in football. I will be gutted if he goes. Fellaini not so much, but would still be disappointed. A top half finish would suffice. I agree with this. Some Wigan players however I would be happy to see join the club, Mcmanaman and Maloney for example.

  31. Scanning the BDO initial report into the former RFC (http://static.bdo.uk.com/assets/documents/2013/05/RFC_Report_to_Creditors_22_May_2013.pdf) This jumps out; 'We can advise that the right to the 2011/12 SPL prize money was sold to the Newco as part of the assets of the Oldco.' What an absolute pigging joke. It’s not enough that they funded their standing and league position by refusing to pay tax and debts, then died and the assets themselves were sold at a massive discount, but that the debts that were collectible (for the benefit of creditors) were sold as well e.g. SPL Prize Money 2011/12 Season and similarly Jelavic transfer monies. Out fricking rageous.

  32. Yes. As detailed in section 19, page 36, of the CONGU Unified Handicapping System 2012-2015 book. Edit; every golfer should have a read of this book. http://www.scottishgolf.org/files/CONGU_UHS_2012-20153.pdf The amount of incorrect info given around handicapping would be greatly reduced if everyone read it.

  35. Your adjusted score was 98 net 71, right in buffer zone, see below. I have put in the putts column what it comes to after stableford par adjustment. You get two shots on the 6th so your worst score is 4 over to make it a net double bogey, and you get one shot on the 18th so your worst score is 3 over to make it net double bogey.

Grainy malts, mild bitterness Overall: Doesn't taste as dark as it looks. It reminds me of another strong ale, perhaps Riggwelter or Hobgoblin, I think this would be a good accompaniment to a roast dinner or at least something with a rich gravy. 7/10
