  1. Indeed they do not, and neither do deluded zombie scum fans of the tax dodging, creditor dodging, cheating b*****d of a club formerly known as Rangers FC.

  2. How people can defend Punk is beyond me. Some guy heckles him, perhaps crosses the line by putting his hands on him, fair enough, I can accept that. Punk turns round and swings at the first guy he sees? How is that OK? If the guy had actually landed proper punches on him, then I'd probably say I can see why Punk reacted this way. From the footage I have seen, his reaction was way over the top and was unnecessary, even if he had landed shots on the right guy.

  5. I only get a few full Saturdays off every year so I'll definitely be making the most of this. A question for Subcrawl veterans. How much money is it best to take? Any cheap boozers on the way round or are they all about the same?

  6. Social media is rapidly become a means with which the stupid and ignorant expose themselves. Supporting the death penalty? Supporting TORTURING people? That's a damning indictment of our education system. Or humanity as a whole. But definitely one or the other.

  8. It doesn't matter what proof you put in front of rangers fans they will still deny and deflect and continue this stupidity that NUFF n HELPS sold Green the club and the holding company is being liquidated. Now historically this is the first account of any company that is to be liquidated that apparently seems to have avoided it's debt and carried on as before !. The BDO have a dilemma on their hands with the newco masquerading as the oldco in every manner as Green is adamant that they are in fact the old club period ? or has Green managed to manipulate the wording so as to be deliberately misleading ?. Green quotes that "The Rangers are a continuance of Rangers football club" but he never actually says we are in fact the club Rangers that won all them titles and cups. Throw into the mixer as well that Green has actively used one of the oldco's trading names as well "The Glasgow Rangers Football Club LTD" He managed to convince the administrators to allow him to use this trading name ! WHY ? when the old club is soon to be killed off by lethal liquidation and all it's trading names and history soon to be resigned into the history books !. I think D&P will be questioned for sure on their handling of Rangers administration because they ran up debts whilst in admin when admin was supposed to save as much money for the creditors pot.D&P should have sacked the most expensive players from the club almost straight away and that would have saved millions long before the players agreed a wage cut.Why keep the club competitive in the league when they had just about lost the league anyway with a 10 point deduction ?.D&P have probably the only ever administration that never cut jobs during admin for what reason ? ASSET VALUE ? Why bother when the players could leave at any time ? This whole Rangers saga is a clusterfuck of fuckups from day one since Feb 14th resulting in creditors being shafted from any possible maximum amount of money they could have received. We still have all these rumours as well surrounding the club with Whyte,D&P,Green and other characters involved in some way to get money out of the cash cow of a club. BRING ON THE BDO

  9. I started drinking a coffee downstairs, it was a particularly nice mug of joe, however I went upstairs (taking my coffee with me) and ate a ginger snap. Now my coffee tastes boggin, so my question is, is it the ginger snap to blame for ruining my coffee or is it the change in altitude? I could run some tests but it would take several mugs of coffee and as many trips up and down the stairs.

  10. I thinks the point Rangers fans are missing that if the "leaks" at HMRC are found or are even true This makes no difference to what the club done or the punishment It's whataboutery from VG Bears, just trying to take the attention away from the non payment of taxes trying (again) to paint someone else as the bad guy and clear Rangers of all responsibility. If only they spent as much time looking into what's been happening at the club as to looking to blame other.

  11. Ruby Sparks Trailers gave me an impression that this film would be a bit pretentious and take itself too seriously, but actually it's a very playful fantasy fairy tale, with a little twist which carries some genuine insight into the fun opening. Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Farris have probably had scripts thrown at them left, right and centre for the last five years so it's interesting that the one they went for was written by lead actress, granddaughter of Elia Kazan and girlfriend of Paul Dano, Zoe Kazan. It doesn't measure up to Little Miss Sunshine as a film, but it's great work, excellently played and worked by the team. With these directors you get to know the characters very well, and the resulting empathy makes the action very exciting. As I mentioned, the players really make it what it is: I like Paul Dano rather a lot, his elastic range is ever-growing, and herein lies one of his most testing roles. The couple play off each other very naturally which is great, Miss Kazan wrote herself a great role and she's well worth it- she got herself down to a tee! Great contributions from the satellite cast too, including Antonio Banderas, Annette Bening, Steve Coogan and Elliott Gould. With a cult following it could be this generation's Groundhog Day, but I didn't like it nearly as much. Very charming and lovely fun, everyone will have their own idea about it, so see for yourself! Demands a rewatch, but on first reflection: 7/10

  15. Cheers MB Funeral was yesterday and was attended by around 300 people. I never fully appreciated how highly he had been regarded in Scottish / UK cycling circles and there were some really top guys there past and present champions, including a chap who'd flown over from Arizona, just to attend the funeral.it was a great celebration of the mans life and a fitting tribute to such a top bloke. They collected over £2,100 which is going to be used to start up a trust fund helping out under privelaged kids get their first taste of cycling and develop their progress Although tragic, its drawn us all closer together as a club and the "family" spirit has been amazing. Hopefully I'll be back out tonight for the first of the nightime sessions in the dark

  19. Just finished reading 11.22.63 by Stephen King. It's a what if/time travel bookset in the years leading up to the Kennedy Assasination. This is the best Stephen King book I have read in YEARS, and there's not a wise old negro or mystical retard in sight. 10/10.

  21. The away one looks better IMO. I've seen the ones that the kids in soccer camp were getting yesterday. I think you are right that the sponsor makes a big difference. The original intention was for the shorts to be red but as I understood at the back end of last season there was a problem getting an exactly matching shade of red for the shorts and, as a result, it was intended to use black instead. However, that was a few months ago and I haven't heard anything since. Not sure what was finally decided. Personally I'd prefer black.

  22. As I said on the squad thread, it's a slightly surprising signing. The squad will be thin enough without signing another version of McKenna and Simmons who already fll the central midfield role. Can't really see where the three are going to fit in the same team and that's before mentioning Johnston who played centrally last season but might play wider I suppose. And as you say, without McGuffie either, although I'd guess he's predominantly seen as a defender rather than a midfielder. I don't know if it means he's given up on McGuffie making his mind up or not.

  23. Very impressive. Particularly on the No 3. I didn't even have his surname, though I knew his first name and where he came from so I'd have found it. I also don't know who the sub keeper was. Know that one?

  24. He was training with us for a while but was down South somewhere last week. Since he said on Twitter on Friday he was playing in a bounce game with us on Saturday though I guess he's back. I'd be surprised but pleased if he was involved tomorrow.

  25. I haven't bothered to research back but I suspect I was probably one of them. I'm not sure when you said it though? I think it was maybe not long after McMenamin arrived and certainly for me at that point Holmes was still a major contributor even if he wasn't scoring. He got steadily worse as the season wore on though. Also I've tended to believe that Weatherston was better out wide than he ever looked through the middle. I did change my mind a little in the last month or two of the season though when he had several decent outings as a striker and looked a good partner with McMenamin.

  26. Not sure about Holmes. He's a bit of a lumbering lump but he does have ability on the ball and although he was never expected to be an out and out goalscorer for us, he did really well in his first season, the highlight being that "perfect" hat-trick up at Inverness. I think there were at least four other managers in the division who made it clear two seasons ago they would take him for their side in a heartbeat. However it just didn't happen for him last season. Missed a penalty on the opening league day and was dropped from duty taking those and in the end only managed what, two league goals all season, both of which were against Cowdenbeath. Initially even when not scoring he was still bringing lots to the team but I think after Xmas, whether down to playing with an injury (which he unquestionably was) or just loss of form, he wasn't adding a lot. I'd think if Weatherston hadn't also gotten himself injured we'd have seen the Weatherston / McMenamin combination used a lot more. Though certainly Holmes is much more a Brannigan player than Weatherston is. He probably would still be very effective a season down but to be honest I suspect he might well still be effective at this level and I'm relatively surprised he hasn't been at least looked at by a bigger side than Airdrie.

  27. Forgot about Barnard. Yes, fair point. He came and took everything too, though he did occasionally miss completely much as Robinson did.

  28. Very few keepers at this level come off their line to claim a ball and even fewer manage to do it successfully almost all the time. Rab Douglas is very much an exception in that respect. He does it all the time. As far as Queens are concerned Roy did it generally in his brief spell as first choice, Robinson tried to do it but fumbled the ball too often and Goram did it, though he tended to punch the ball when he got there rather than try to catch. Pretty much everyone else we've had since promotion has been rooted to their line most of the time. Scott however got away with it better than most because he had the likes of Thomson and Reid sitting in front of him who dealt with absolutely everything in the air for him. Hutton was never blessed with dominating centre halves like that.

  29. People who go on about 'our troops' being heroes and how they should earn huge amounts of money get instantly removed from me. Since when did they achieve this god like status? It's a job that they have chosen to do, and they are not heroes (unless they do something heroic by going above and beyond the call of duty - which I'm sure many do, but just being a soldier does not make you a hero).
