  4. Nice one the_craig! I'm 16 weeks today and after being a wee bit concerned earlier today that I hadn't felt any movement yet (which I know is crazy, but after a miscarriage, I think I'm allowed to be a wee bit of a paranoid mentalist), I've been sitting feeling loads of wee kicks for the last ten mins. Fantastic

  5. Not when you have an SPL that had a pre-ordained punishment on the club to strip 5 titles and 4 Scottish Cups as a condition of acceptance to the first division without first hearing the findings of an independent panel to ascertain guilt or innocence on the whole situation. That comes across as a finding of guilt before trial, something that is fundamentally against the principles of law. It seems that the SPL have shown a biased attitude by trying to impose punishment against the club before hearing any defence from the club.

  6. Rangers fans sat back and done nothing when Murray was in charge, despite people known about the financial troubles away back when McLeish took over Rangers fans did nothing when Whyte was in charge, despite everyone screaming the truth about CW Rangers fans despite the club being in admin and on its knees chased away Bill Miller Throughout this sorry story Rangers fans have done nothing but point the finger at everyone else, when in reality they are just to blame as much as Murray or Whyte for letting the club die. Even now they still refuse to accept any responsibility, they treat guys like Jardine as a hero for his stance against the SFA when he was one of the guys in the boardroom who sat back and done nothing! Even the so called greatest ever Ranger done nothing while in the boardroom, as soon as things started to go public and the clubs fate was sealed. What did he do? Walked away And to this day he hasn't said a word. Maybe because he's ashamed for milking the club for so long until it was dead Good old Rangers fans, even under Charles Green, you still play the blame game. Just simply doing sweet FA to safeguard the future of Sevco

  7. Simply brilliant, a Sevco fan trying to mock another club with claims of "tainted titles" No wonder Rangers died, you are so far up your own arse. You refuse to accept or see anything wrong at Ibrox, anyone questions the club and instantly you either start blaming everyone else for your failings as a club or try to deflect it onto another subject

  10. As far as I know, we missed the deadline for the accounts. Don't think we can submit them at or near the end of the old company's administration with this year's European competition well under way.

  11. Beer: Ayr Brewing Co. Rabbie's Porte Abv: 4.3% Style: Porter Aromas: malt and chocolate Taste: Little sweet notes, bitter chocolate taste Overall: This is a delicious porter! I can honestly say it's one of the best I've had for a while. The aroma gives away the chocolate, but when you taste it, the chocolate is bitter, so it doesn't come in until after the initial porter taste of malt. It's really lovely, and tastes lighter than 4.3%. Usually you'd want a porter to be a satisfying winter beer, but this is a pub beer, a beer you can drink hard all day with your mates. The first thing I got when I poured it was the scent of the old man's pub, the spit 'n' sawdust, the ancient yellowing telly with the races on, the auld guys with the whisky noses counting out change for their hauf and haufs. Rabbie would have loved this - braw! 7.5/10

  12. Hey DhenBhoy, Bendarroch, Annoni, Parp: http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php/forum/36-rangers-v-celtic-celtic-v-rangers/ This is the forum you are looking for. Your tiresome petty back-and-forth is ruining this once-legendary thread. You can indulge in sniping and personal attacks to your heart's content over in the RvC forum.

  13. The club I follow has existed since 1903. The club you choose to follow has existed since June 2012. The club you used to follow (assumed) is a completely separate entity, and one currently undergoing the liquidation process, following which it will cease to be. I know it's tough for you to swallow swallow, and I make allowances for your clear lack of intellect, but you need to get over this. It's the way it is. No matter how much you and your fellow Newco fans choose to delude themselves over it.

  14. Looks like your getting your excuses in early. Desperation in hanging onto a few cups won by a defunct club so your new resurrection can claim them. They don't belong to Sevco and the if they are found they were won by the use of illegally registered players you still want to lay claim to them. It is pretty distasteful

  15. Excellent news. The leaks regarding (previously denied) pre-ordained title striping punishments has hit the presses. Happy days - what now for their 'independent' commission. And, soon come, the public shaming of the lawyer with no control over his temper and even less over his mouth. As the old saying goes - loose lips sink ships. We'll see them in court

  16. Hey that's an outrageous slur. I well remember their banners about deserving better. Surely that was a protest against Murray's calamitous over-spending and morally repugnant attempts to duck tax obligations, both destined to kill their club? It was, wasn't it - must have been.

  17. I doubt that this will make me popular but then I'm here to post my views rather than be popular. This thread used to be excellent. It had wit, wisdom and insight. Guys posted funny, knowledgeable and acerbic comments here. Not always enjoyable to read for me as a Rangers' fan but I respected the intelligence of the posters. Had there been some sort of Oscars for football forums then this thread would have won it hands down. However, it has become tired, sad, predictable and prosaic this past couple of months.

  21. I went along and watched this amazing and thoroughly enjoyable game. Which concluded with a historical result for Queen of the South?. Your team was terrific showing great energy with their pressing and closing down which never give Rangers time to settle on the ball. Your fans looked and sounded very enthusiastic and everyone involved in the club should be very proud of their achievements so far. Although not a follower of either club I was keen to see how both Daniel Carmichael and Gavin Reilly had progressed and how they would perform on a bigger stage. Boy was I impressed, not just with them but the Queens team as a whole. I always thought those two were something special when they played in the EoS and they are now showing what they are capable of. Without being disrespectful to your club I think they will soon both go on to bigger things. Congratulations on a truly wonderful performance and good luck for the rest of the season. I will definitely be trying to see other Queen Of The South games in the coming months.

  22. Like him or loathe him as a player - and very much the latter for me - one thing about Pressley's time as captain at Tynecastle I reluctantly had to admit was the drive and commitment he instilled in their team, and the pace at which Hearts played; he constantly gee'd them on to be direct, aggressive, and pressurising the opposition; and playing with pace when on the ball, and their movement off the ball. Stuff like that, y'know... the stuff that makes it entertaining to watch. All in all, the exact polar opposite of how he sets us out now he's a manager. That's the real problem for me. As many have said already - win or lose, at the very least let's see the effort. Change the tactics; change the formation; and change the attitude. The young lads will get a bit of slack from the fans if there's something - anything - to indicate that Pressley's increasingly unjustifiable mantra of progress had any real substance. The first 6 months of last season look more and more like a fluke; its been painful to watch us deteriorate so badly under his stewardship. I just don't get how he thinks he's making progress. We're clearly not, and although we do have some genuinely decent players we're clearly toiling this season. The Sevco debacle and our BOD's sucking at their teats is the biggest embarrassment in all my years as a Bairn, but Pressley appearing to be intent on coaching out the evident talent from the likes of Sibbald, Duffie and Murdoch, forcing them to conform with his square-ba', half-paced, one-dimensional 'meister-plan', is criminal. Not happy.

  24. I think you might be under the impression that supporters of The Rangers give a flying f**k about what some no-mark plastic on a fitba board thinks Diddy clubbers and their pet plastics - wtf are the like? Perhaps you would be better saving your energy for more important platics battles. And I will confess that I am looking forward to the upcoming plastics vs diddy clubs battle for cash. But, will they pay attention to Liewell's instruction? "There is no point in weakening Celtic." "The pot just gets smaller and that could potentially happen." "So while I can understand clubs wanting to change it, I don't agree with it. "The focus shouldn't be on redistribution." No doubt that Liewell knows what's coming his way. PS: He has not voting veto any more. Whoops!

  26. Probably true given you track record. Your track record: Perhaps we'll see Greenock boy Millar at the Krankiedome, wearing some St Mirren merchandise. That would put the seal on things. My brain hurts.

  28. One of the very few intelligent posts on this thread before today, though i wouldn't be so harsh as to use the term "murderers" to describe those most at fault on the day of the tragedy. I see some fools are continuing to post drivel today/tonight in light of the news today. There is an old wise saying that many of you should take heed of - "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt." The saying today should be changed for internet forums to... Better to not post a foolish comment on an internet message/discussion board and not be thought of at all, than to post a foolish comment and expose yourself as the fool that you so obviously are. Those of you that i am referring to know precisely who you are as does everyone else who reads this thread from start to finish.

  30. Just the same as a racist always claims to have black friends. It's pretty obvious that you do have a problem with gays, no skin of my nose just cut out the moral high ground stuff in future. You're no better or no worse than anyone else.

  33. It's been mentioned many times on here and everytime it gets changed ever so slightly, hence why you wrongly claimed that i was going to resign from this thread. Atleast young Dhenseboy seems to be settling in nicely under your wing, looks like you're stuck with the wee rascal.

  34. The sellik-minded giro-grabbing culture extends all the to your boardroom, that's why. An entirely shameless club, with an already severely tainted history, such as yours would know no better. It's your way. And it's worth repeating that we'll take no morality lessons from a club with your line of ne'erdowell's and their evil.
