  1. I see this thread's gone downhill in the last 24 hours ..we've sneaked into sellic/sevco religious pish again. Fuck off to the rangers-celtic forum with this childish, never-ending, tedious, only-a-fucking-idiot would argue about shite. PLEASE.

  3. Then I am sorry but that does make it significant in relation to sectarianism. Your failure to accept that and by bringing in references from wider society are completely red herrings. Tim Minchin made a song about the pope or whatever but the same guy would have written a song about the queen or King Billy or Rangers, the orange lodge if he wished to raise an issue of that organisation. Now you either want to stamp this crap out or you don't , if it takes this sort of intervention to halt/ reduce/ eradicate this stigma from our society then action has to be taken. You will commend the football clubs for their efforts but if you want to stamp it out then it has to be persued and not allowed to fester either at football matches or online. This was flagged up and action taken, maybe it will deter others from posting similar. I don't think you can honestly say that you are impartial in your stance and that Orc is a reference to Mordor with reference to the facia at Ibrox it has not got a religious connotation as far as i am aware if so please enlighten us.

  4. You are an out and out liar stating this. I can assure you and everyone else that Everton fans have never sung any song of this sort since the tragedy took place. Never have they demeaned the memory of these 96 victims as many of them were their friends, cousins and siblings. Everton fans have taken part in many memorials to the 96 in many different ways and have given unstinting support to the Hillsborough Justice Campaign. People can have their own opinion on Hillsborough, that's their right, but don't put up out and out blatant lies about it. I'm saying this as someone who lives not too far from the city and has experienced the depth of loss sustained by one family who lost their 14 year old son in the tragedy. This lad that i'm speaking of has got family that are Evertonians and for you to state such a thing is reprehensible. Also as a fan of a club who lost 66 fans in a similar tragedy you really should take a good look at yourself. There is a non-league club in the city,AFC Liverpool that carries a banner in remembrance of the victims of both disasters to every game they play so shame on you.

  5. Why is it that the Sevco fans on here constantly deflect things away from the topic in hand, RFC's decades of cheating & debt dodging, & consistantly drag things into some sort of rant against the other half of the divide? By Christ, I hope they're deid soon.

  7. Firstly, I know there's a multitude of threads running - many of which now only exist for our amusement, posting of 'pleasing' gifs, and general 'let's all laugh and point at Rangers' merriment.... The more I'm hearing though, the more I'm looking towards the actual end game here, and would like to gauge reaction as to where we will be a year, two years, however many years down the line. For as long as i remember I have personally felt disgusted by the way football clubs play fast and loose in a manner no 'normal' business can ever hope to get away with. I see this going the same way as so many clubs before them. They'll dodge the big one by playing the administration card. They won't be the first, they won't be the last. So, what's your prediction for the actual end to this? To my eyes it's all set up with Whyte knowing all along that he would decide when to play the administration joker card to position himself as main creditor. I genuinely believe some sort of deal will grudgingly be accepted by HMRC. There will be pain for Rangers - but they will indeed dodge the big hammer blow. Short term pain, longer term, they'll weasel a way to rise phoenix-like from administration, as I say, like so many morally bankrupt cheating football clubs before them. Thoughts? Hopefully not just of a 'LOL' nature! Really looking to see what you guys seriously see the end of this actually being when the dust settles.

I'm a terribly unambitious person and quite frankly am just happy to be making enough to live a reasonably happy life. I couldn't really care less what anyone else does with themself.

  10. Where did you get that 6th sense one? Want it. Got and/or tasted all the rest, also have the Willy Nilly one with Dylan Thomas on the label ready for slurping. If you're in the area of a Sainsbury's again get this Manchester Star Ale, it's magnificent. Oh, and Screech Owl too. I'm in full agreement, quality beer is the zeitgeist.

  11. Beer: Manchester Star Ale Abv: 7.3% Style: Original Bitter Aromas: Chocolate and spice Taste: Seriously smooth and strong. Sweet aftertaste Overall: This is superb! Honestly, I'll be like a burst couch tomorrow with the strength of this, but it's so much more complex than just abv. The chocolate gives it a smooth sweetness that offsets the obvious bitterness from the abv. This is a proper winter beer, comforting and warm, with a little hint of spice. JW Lees is a renowned Mancunian brewery, and their Brewers dark is a CAMRA award winner (as Mild beers go, it's really good). This was brewed after someone at JW Lees found a 100 year old recipe by accident. Bit of luck! This is definitely NOT a session beer, but if you see this, get one - it's a joy. Note that the JW Lees website says 6.5% abv but the label on the bottle says 7.3%. My guess is the label is correct. 8/10

  17. It's typical Sevconian deflection, when their rhetoric about continuation meets with some big blockades like UEFA viewing the oldc as Rangers then they have to dramatically change the direction of the conversation. They need fret though because it will be dugup again and again.

  18. The problem with Winters is his timing , so there is mitigating circumstances i.e. posting those statements directly after a football match that has a history of religious intolerance, so while it does not offend me there is a realisation that it is inflammatory and made due to the result of a football match. This is where it does differ from Tim Minchin , Frankie Boyle or anyone else, it is the context from which the FTP was posted.

  19. When you're challenging for a league title towards the end of the season in Football Manager and go a goal down to some hideously dreadful team with some shite no-mark scoring his first goal of the season. I mean, going a goal down against any pish team is bad enough, but it's the first goal of the season part that really makes me want to end it all via defenestration.

  20. #14 Beer: Broughton Old Jock Ale Abv: 6.7% Style: Wee Heavy Aromas: Initially smells quite boozy, almost a hint of a tangy white wine aroma, tangy fruit, faint hops, raisins Taste: quite sweet, caramel maltiness, hops are quite faint but still give a bit of kick, roasted malt barley Overall: Strong flavours but surprisingly light and drinkable considering the abv. If anyone has had McEwans Champion, this isn't a million miles away but is probably the more drinkable beer. 7/10

  25. Tonight I'm having a couple of the Inveralmond Brewery's Ossian. I found this after the brewery decided to follow me on twitter and I kept a look out for it. I found it in my local Tesco. A gold coloured ale that goes down rather well chilled and has a lovely zesty aftertaste. Quite light as well so you could drink it all night. 8/10

  26. I've been reading the whole report during the night at work this week, and what is abundantly clear is that the levels of incompetence from various agencies before, during and immediately after the event are truly horrifying. I can only think that there are a lot of posters on here who have never actually been in a large crowd in an old terraced stadium.

  29. I always find it odd how the four major disasters in British football, Ibrox, Bradford, Hillsborough and Heysel are each viewed. It is accepted by almost all that Ibrox and Bradford were tragic accidents, whereas with the latter two many apportion blame to Liverpool fans. For me, fundamentally the blame for each of the four incidents lies solely in the poor selection or design of stadium and poor organisation that was simply taken as being acceptable at the time. It comes across as being endemic in the game at the time and this attitude contributed to each of them more than any fan behaviour on the day. Some of the views in this thread have been bizarre, they sound like they come from folk who haven't been to a game of football.

  30. This is very tiring also. This debate continues to be laughable. Me - "The behaviour of a minority of Liverpool fans was a contributory factor to the disaster" Others - "No it wasn't" Me - "Yes it was. Quite clearly. Look at the evidence" Others "Yeah, but it was only a few" Me - "Yes granted, but these few behaved like absolute arseholes" Others "No, but that didn't cause the crush" Me - "No, but it made it worse" Others - "Yeah, but it wasn't a significant factor and there were other more important factors." Me - "Yes, that's fair enough". Others - "See, so the fans are blameless" Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh... No. They. Are. Not.

  32. Yes you have quoted one line from Taylors report totally out of context, he later goes on to say that the behaviour and actions of the fans played NO part in the ensuing tragedy. Despite the findings of various reports and all the documents and statements that came out yesterday you it would seem are among the trolling minority who want to villify and slander the survivors and the dead. Away and read your Sun ya fucking walloper.

  33. Maybe I'll help you a little !. Feb 2012 Rangers the football club went into admin, companies house registration No SC004276 July 2012 Rangers the football club couldn't honour their debts caused by Whyte through a CVA proposed by Charles Green because no-one else would touch Rangers with a shitty stick to pay their enormous outstanding debts including the impending big tax case & dual contracts investigation. July 2012 The administrators sold only the assets of Rangers football club to Green to help increase creditors pot ! now the important thing here is that Rangers companies house registration No SC004276 is still the real Rangers football club legally and Green has only the stadium and training facilities as well as "replica cups = the history" but he does not own a football club yet !. July 2012 The assets only of Rangers football club 1872 "SC004276" have been moved to a company called sevco 5088 and is quickly moved to a company called sevco Scotland companies house No SC425159 ! there is still the real Rangers football club 1872 but it does not own any stadium or training facilities because they were sold to clear debt but has staff & players on their books and also owns the SFA & SPL licences of Rangers football club 1872. Now at this point in time the team you support now is not actually a football club other than buildings and furniture and has been named legally property of sevco Scotland. Green also has been bullying Rangers football club PLC players to TUPE over to his new club currently called sevco Scotland ! WHY ? because Rangers football club PLC 1872 companies house registration No SC004276 is still THE REAL RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB & PLC and still employs the staff & players but sold it's assets to pay debt. July 2012 Some of the Rangers football club TUPE over to what is legally named at the moment sevco Scotland but some do not.Rangers fans start to get behind Green to support his new club he calls THE RANGERS but in reality it's a company called sevco Scotland BUT ! he is trading under the name of Rangers football club ltd even though the company he owns is called sevco Scotland. July 2012 The Administrators do a deal with Green to change the name of Rangers football club PLC ! still the club and company of Rangers that won them titles ! to RFC 2012.This is to allow Green the opportunity to rename sevco Scotland "The Rangers Football Club LTD" and the deal is done. Note here at this point there is only one football club and it is now called RFC 2012 because Green has no licences ! that is because they still belong to the club & company that won them titles & cups. July 2012 Green has applied to the SPL to take the vacant place of the soon to be liquidated club RFC 2012 formerly known as Rangers Football Club PLC 1872,this is because RFC 2012 has no stadium or players but is still a member and still a football club in the SPL & SFA and Rangers football club ltd is not.A vote will take place as to whether to allow Green's new club straight into the SPL. Note here there is 2 clubs & companies one is still a member SPL & SFA club RFC 2012 and one wants to be one ! Green's team. July 2012 The SPL vote does not allow Green's newly formed club straight into the SPL ! also I'd like to point out to you that RFC 2012 the Rangers PLC that won them cups n titles has not been relegated to the 3rd division and neither is Green's club as Green's new club has never been a club in any league at this moment in time.RFC 2012 is still the club & company with membership licences and voted on Green's SPL parachute ? yes RFC 2012 is still the member club that won them cups n titles and Green still only has the assets and some staff !. At this point Rangers fans begin to now believe Green owns the club that is about to be killed by liquidation ? it is not ! it is the assets of the club trying to be a clone football club in the Scottish leagues through another company because the real Rangers club and company 54 titles WATP RFC 2012 is dying !. Aug 2012 The SFL vote on whether or not to allow Green's new club called The Rangers Football Club LTD straight into the 1st division ! it is a resounding NOOOOOO and another vote takes place to allow them entry into the 3rd division.RFC 2012 is still a club within the SPL & SFA and is still recognised by UEFA as the club that won them cups n titles !. Note at this point on entry into the 3rd division ! RFC 2012 companies house registration No SC004276 still has SPL & SFA membership licences and is still legally a club within the laws of the game and Green's team is not ! Can you see what's happening here ? Aug 2012 Green is trying to procure RFC 2012's SFA licence but the SFA demands Green only pay off the footballing debts but not the HMRC tax debts and take the punishments handed out by the SPL & SFA for sporting integrity reasons if he wants to bypass 3 years audited accounts mandates. This is the only way Green can field a team in the 3rd but he complains about the punishments as his club is a brand new club REMEMBER THAT !. Aug 2012 Green has been given a conditional licence so he can field a team in an upcoming cup fixture till RFC 2012's licence transfer is agreed by all parties. Note here that RFC 2012 still has the SPL & SFA membership licences ! but Green has been given a conditional one ! WE NOW HAVE 2 CLUBS in existence and one has won 54 titles and one has not even kicked a ball in any competitive fixture even though it's players TUPED from RFC 2012 formerly known as Rangers football Club PLC !. Aug 2012 The deal is done and the SFA membership licence held by the club & company that won all them cups n titles is transferred over to Green's team ! Note here that the licence has been moved from one club to another club ! not the history ! just a licence to play football in the Scottish Leagues ! it's only the licence ! You can buy certain kinds of licences or inherit them like Green did from owners but you can't say you was the original owner can you ! This was to bypass the 3 years audited accounts just so you fuckers can have a team to follow and the SFA can milk the udders of the cloned cash cow called Rangers Football Club Ltd for money out of having your clone team in the leagues ? or most likely so you won't cause riots on an apocalyptic scale because yer team died !. Now we still have the club & company in admin soon to be liquidated that won all them cups n titles STILL ALIVE RFC 2012 FKATCCRFC plc,but it sold all it's assets let go of it's staff & changed it's name and passed on it's SFA membership licence to Green's new club, you know the assets that Green bought for sevco 5088 then moved to sevco Scotland then hired some staff then changed it's name to Rangers Football Club Ltd then took it up the arse for a used licence from RFC 2012. Your team you support now in chronological order was first a stadium & facilities under the ownership of sevco 5088 then sevco Scotland ,,,, then hired some staff from a dying club ,,,,,, then got permission to enter the SFL 3rd division ! no demotion there ! ,,,, changed it's name from sevco Scotland to "Rangers Football Club Ltd" ,,,,, then got a used tainted licence from another club to be able to concede goals in competitive fixtures ! What's so hard to understand that then .

  34. I must be one of those 'twisted p***ks with a hidden agenda' then because Liverpool fans have done nothing but disgrace themselves time and time again. As the whole Suarez thing and the racist chanting at the young lad from Northampton(?) at the start of the year proved. Also 99% of Liverpool fans I have met have been complete arseholes as well.

  41. None of these are actual punishments though, much as they might feel that way to you. Take them one at a time: 1. The loss of the playing squad - this is just a consequence of the liquidation and newco formation, employees are within their rights not to accept the transfer of their contracts. Nobody took the players away. 2. Starting at the bottom tier - again, not a punishment, the rules were bent to allow a new company into the league. Always going to hapen due to the size of the fanbase, but starting at the bottom would be standard procedure for anyone else in the same position. 3. European "ban" - again, a consequence of liquidation, UEFA don't accept newcos for three years. Nobody banned you 4. Ok, the fine and transfer ban are punishments, granted, but you've read the list of charges, you've seen the "one step short of match fixing" report, a lot of clubs would have been booted, or at least suspended in the same circumstances. But a fine of 160k to a club with Rangers' turnover should be pennies, and the transfer ban was watered down so you could still outspend everyone this summer. Even then, with a decent manager you could still have walked the third with a good youth team and done the country a long term good by blooding a generation of youngsters.
