  1. The clock is ticking. I have until June 30th to renew my season ticket to catch the early bird price. It's not going to happen. I can't be true to myself if I renew in the current situation I find myself in. I don't ask for much. 45 years of winning nothing may seem like self-inflicted torture but I still have the same level of commitment to my club that I had in 1967 when I first attended a match at Somerset Park. During this time I have been enthralled by some of the great matches, the skill, the endeavour, the outrageous incidents, the humour, the banter, the passion, the joy and the sadness. However, it's now 2012 and the one thing that I could add to that list is to be torn from my grasp. Despite the empty trophy cabinet, one thing that I've always had is.............hope. But the football authorities have decided that I am no longer entitled to hope. It's to be confiscated. With the release of the new proposals for Scottish football, SFL teams have been handed an ultimatum. They have been told to ratify the inclusion of Sevco in the first division. They have been told to sanction rule-breaking. They have been told to reward cheating, theft, bigotry, arrogance and bullying. I use the word 'told' to emphasise my point. The SFL clubs have not been given a choice in the matter. They must agree to the new proposals..............or else ! There has been a direct threat to clubs who vote against Sevco's inclusion in the first division. If my club participate in blocking this proposal, SPL 2 will apparently be created and my club will be consigned to the wilderness and the flame inside me, that I described as hope, will have been extinguished. The truth is, Ayr United could go another 45 years without winning anything of note but I would still have been there, supporting my team, with my mates, my voice, my money and, of course, my hope. That's to be taken away from me now though. The powers-that-be in scottish football have colluded to present a new beginning for football in this country. They are not concerned about the views of the paying public, they don't care if the fans are against their new plans and they don't mind that every right-thinking football supporter is appalled by the reward being given to the biggest cheats in scottish football history. So, what did I do wrong ? What offence did my team commit ? How could me, or my club, have avoided this catastrophe ? Everyone connected with Rangers was complicit in their wrongdoing. The Board, the management, the players, the staff and the supporters. They are all guilty by association. Nevertheless, it is the supporters of every other team who will be sentenced in the next few days. That's justice................scottish football style. For years we've been calling for league reconstruction and now it's being thrust upon us. It looks nothing like what we have been asking for but the clever people have decided what we, the fools, will get. We will be given what's best for Sevco because that, sadly, is the immediate priority for scottish football. Everything else and everyone else is secondary. It's with a heavy heart that, should these proposals come to fruition, I'll be turning my back on scottish football. I will no longer stand at the Somerset Road end of the ground, shouting on my team, urging them to produce their best and win the match. These corrupt individuals will have taken from me something that I can't afford to lose......................hope.

  3. Sevco Info Pack: Dear SFA, Hi there. We are Sevco. Do not confuse us with Costco. That's a cash and carry in the Springburn area of Glasgow. Anyway, sorry we haven't had much time to work on this, but here's the deal. We are the people, and the big house must stay open. PS. We know where you live. Yours, Sevco.

  4. Copy of an e-mail I sent to enquries@scotprem.com; I thought that I should contact you, to let you know about a document that has reportedly been sent from your organisation. After reading the document , I believe that someone in your offices has obviously taken their child/children into work, and whilst they were there, they have managed to get onto one of your computers, write this report, and somehow e-mail it to everyone. I know its not really the child's fault, but the report that was sent by them, could cause your organisation a lot of embarrassment. I am sure you will be able to find out the source of the report and you will be able to let everyone concerned, know that it has been a mistake. I hope I have managed to help you. Just waiting now to see if I get a reply.

  6. Ok, here's some food for thought - Below are the current world rankings for the homeless World Cup. 1 Brazil 2 Mexico 3 Scotland 4 Ukraine 5 Chile 6 Russia 7 Ireland 8 Portugal 9 Poland 10 Kenya Do these mean that we have a homeless population similar to those in the top 5? Don't think so. So what does this tell us about our attitude towards the game? Even when we're at rock bottom, soaked in our own blood and pish and trying to grow a sleeping bag from our chin, we still want to play. What's more we seem to fare better. No money, no assistance, no problem. The game just could not die in Scotland regardless of what the MSM and the ruling bodies tell us. It doesn't need an ex-politician writing a 2 year report to help it either, it needs less involvement from those with only an academic or financial interest. Sport and business are uneasy bedfellows at the best of times but what we're witnessing now from our "leaders" is just naked avarice. There will undoubtedly be many innocent casualties from a drastic shake-up to the game but it seems so corrupt that something has to give. I've never really bothered with forums before but the thought of the buns just strong-arming their way back into the top flight led me here. I honestly thought I would be in a hated minority but in 2 weeks I've been amazed at the breadth of knowledge and passion still out there, and not from just a hardy few. Fucking magic. Now's a time for change, don't let this momentum lead to nothing. Keep the inboxes of your chairmen and the SPL/SFL/SFA groaning with the weight of opinion against this shite - donkey-jackets and braziers optional. Cheers

  8. For every SFL club that stands firm against this outrageous SPL bullying, I'm gonna buy a bit of their merchandise. Won't be much - a hat, a mug, a scarf - but if everyone who is opposed to this nonsense does the same, it might make a bit of difference. Plus of course I'll take in a game at their ground. Kind of like a reverse boycott. Groundhopping with honour. Could be fun.

  9. For any Sevco5088 fans who wish to exercise their democratic mandate, but have forgotten their Rangers Number, allow me to assist. It is a nine digit number, not starting at 000000000, but with a 5 as the indicator. For example 500000001 is valid, 000000001 is not. Check your number is valid using the following site: http://test.rangers....rolled/faq.aspx If you get the response: "The password entered is incorrect.", then the number is valid, and will be accepted by the RFFS site: https://www.research...angersFanSurvey Happy to help.

  10. All along, a large contingent of our support has been against Sevco being admitted to the SPL, but because of the unique situation we are in with this being our first ever shot at the top tier, no fans were threatening to walk away over it. That said however, this new blackmailing attempt of the SFL has finally broken some, with arguably some of our most staunch supporters seriously questioning whether they want to continue supporting football in this country. The wind has definitely changed direction on even OverTheBridge. I admit, I was annoyed at the prospect of them getting back into the SPL before, but I am furious about the prospect of what they are trying to do now. If this goes ahead, battle lines will have been drawn, and I fully expect that fans threats of walking away from football altogether will come to fruition. If it doesn't come through, I fully expect/demand the resignations/dismissal of the conspiritors responsible: Topping, Doncaster, Reagan and Longmuir. This is in addition to the obvious resignation of Ogilvie, which should have been accepted long ago. We're at a tipping point here, and nearing the end game. The very future of our national sport depends on it.

  11. I think that's an excellent sentence and one that reflects the views of lots of us. Other 'bears' have posted saying the same. For me, personally, I think finding a backdoor via SFL1 is utterly unacceptable. We fucked up big style and we all are culpable - fans as well. I'd say we apply for SF3 and (if accepted) rebuild ourselves as a club. I live around London and if we did get accepted to SFL3 then I'd buy 4 season tickets - for me and my 3 weans - even if we can only go to a couple of games. If the whoring plans are accepted I'd not spend a single pound.

  12. he's getting to that age (just turned 7) he's now taking an interest in football, and the problem is he has grown up with a rangers fan and a celtic fan as parents poor bugger.. certainly there was no danger i was exposing him to the crap that gets flung around either of their grounds, With my recent unhappiness at the way my club has behaved I think the time might be here to try and tempt him with a diddy team™ absolutely gutting but this is one rangers fan walking away - from bigotry cheating and the tripe attached to my club firhill is just up the road, might have to try and persuade him

  13. Proposed plan to re-organise Scottish football on the STV website. Even if half of whats written is true I cannot believe that the SFA is going to rubber stamp this. This is nothing but a cop out. For months this situation has been allowed to drag on. What has been shown is that the leadership of the SFA / SPL governing bodies are incapable of fairness, thought or decisive action. All we hear is that it is a very complex problem and is not easy to sort out. Well gentlemen thats exactly what you get paid big salaries to do - sort out problems. This has demonstrated that the leadership of the SFA / SPL governing bodies are spineless and have been promoted into jobs far above their capabilities. We are the laughing stock of football. The basic problem is simple :- 1.The Newco is a new club and should apply in the normal way for membership of the SFA and if approved should start in the 3rd division. 2. If Elgin City or Huntly wanted to join the SFA, thats exactly what they would have to do. They would not expect to join division 1. ANY other scenerio indicates that the rules governing all other clubs in the SFA do NOT apply to one of the big Glasgow two. If that is the case there is no point in going on. Secondary problem - The Financial Implications :- 3. With the loss of Rangers from the SPL there is a financial implication. Excluding the easy option of item 2 above, what other avenues have been explored by the SFA / SPL governing bodies to mitigate this loss? 4. The proposed parachuting of Sevco into the first division is an insult, and a disgrace to the hardworking and rule abiding clubs from the SFL. The current plan is for them to be financially bribed to allow Sevco into the first division. If that doesn't work the SPL are bullying them to accept or they will be excluded from a proposed new SPL 2. 5. I sincerely hope that the SFL tell the SFA / SPL to take a hike. They have never shown any interest in the status or welfare of the lower division clubs. Now that they are in trouble they are turning to the SFL with a combination of bribery and bullying tactics to achieve what they want. Not a good combination for trying to obtaining a result. The SFA did not show any interest when Livingston were relegated for merely going into administration, so why are they inventing rules "on the hoof" to accommodate Rangers / Sevco who just about broke every rule in the book? When Rangers (and Celtic) made serious noises over the years about quitting Scotland for the English leagues, they were not in the slightest bit interested in the financial state of Scottish football they would leave behind. So why are we bothered about Sevco. Surely we would be in the same position now as then. To the suits of the SFA grasp the moment and develop some backbone. This is a one off chance to sort out and cleanse Scottish football once and for all. Get on with it. Bite the bullet, take the pain (and there will be pain) and get re-organised into a fairer league set up with equal voting rights for all. One governing body to run it , with play offs and a fairer distribution of money. Never again must we be in a position where two clubs call the shots in Scottish football.

  15. I have been giving this some thought as you can probably imagine. The drip drip drip affect of negative news has taken its toll on the support as has the infighting. It is time to put an end to it all...That time is in fact long over due. If John Brown has a consortium there...Make Green an offer. If it is rejected move aside and shut the f**k up!! As far as i can see only Non Rangers people have been able to put a deal together. OK they will in all probability leave after making a tidy profit but as long as the Club (not the oldco) are there at the end i have no problem with that. Rangers men such as King,McColl and Park had years to put together a deal when SDM was selling. They didn't want to know. They could easily have come up with a better offer than Whyte..They didn't want to know..Now the Oldco are dead..gone..they are all of a sudden concerned. Piss Off!! You had your chance and you sat on your hands while we watched the prolonged and agonising death of our club. Now we have been rejected from the SPL Rangers have to do the honourable thing (for once) and apply to the SFL 3. It will help to build bridges with some of the clubs who feel cheated by what has gone on in the past. It is time to draw a line under it and start again. I believe this is a unique opportunity to re-shape Scottish Football from the bottom to the very top. The added revenue The Rangers will generate as they move up through the divisions has got to be good for the long term future of the lower league clubs. The Rangers will have seen to be punished severly and hopefully it will be a tough lesson learned for all. If a few over spending SPL clubs get into financial trouble...Sorry but i have very little sympathy for them as things stand and they have nobody to blame but themself

  16. I genuinely think this is a last desperate gamble by Doncaster, Topping and Green. They know they are losing the SPL vote and are trying to desperately blackmail the SFL into ignoring their own rules. My feeling is that they have played this card a couple of days too early. The shady closed door meetings between Sevco's "owner" and manager, and other SPL chairmen, added to Celtic's own sinister role in this, really do stink very badly. Only the SFA has the power to impose this move unilaterally. The SPL can try and start SPL2, but if they are met with a united opposition from the SFL then they can form whatever league they like, no-one will join (other than Sevco themselves). The noises from at least half of next season's first division clubs have been very encouraging and I would expect more statements of opposition in the next few days. I can understand the angry reaction but, consistently, this has been a story where its foolish to react emotionally and on the spur of the moment. Rather than being the death knell of the game, I can see this move 1. accelerating the end of the SPL as a separate body, having been shown to be thoroughly corrupt and lacking in any kind of credibility and 2. making it far more difficult for Sevco to win election to Division 3 when that comes around. Just as their taking of the SFA to the court of session was a major factor in their losing of support amongst fellow SPL chairmen, so this crude and clumsy attempt at coercion may well sink their ambitions to re-start in SFL 3. Blackmailing an organisation whom you are attempting to join is hardly a risk-free strategy. Just as the Zombie Rangers just will not lie down and die, so too this story will simply not reach an end. Just when you think that the story is finally winding down, another twist comes along to change the picture completely. There will be a couple more twists to come yet in the next fortnight, but I'd expect the story to be finally ending around then- with the collapse of the SPL and Sevco desperately trying to persuade the clubs that they have threatened and blackmailed so obviously, to be allowed to join their ranks. IMO they have just made the task much, much more difficult. To be honest I have struggled to understand Rangers' strategy throughout the whole crisis. Instead of emollience, admitting to their guilt, offering an apology and indicating a willingness to accept whatever punishment was meted out by the authorities, they have chosen confrontation, self-lacerating legal cases, one of the most shambolic and wonky administrations in the history of insolvency practice, a fetid cake garnished with self-pity, victimhood, and a few hallucinogenic vermecelli from the Papist conspiracy jar. I actually was pretty content with the idea of Sevco starting again in SFL3- it's a severe punishment fitting their crimes. However, after today's farcical outburst from the SPL, I really hope they die and that Spartans, Cove or one of the country's top junior sides fills the SFL3 vacancy for the start of the new season. What. A. Mess.

  18. Sent to SPL and SFA. I implore both the SPL and SFA to reconsider the current restructuring proposals being put to member clubs at the moment. These are being viewed as completely unacceptable. They seem to be for the benefit of the club formerly known as Rangers as opposed to proposals for the good of all Scottish clubs. I refer in particular to the proposal to have the Newco Sevco 5008 club immediately placed in the SFL First Division. This proposal appears to have upset SPL fans, SFL fans and fans of the club formerly known as Rangers. Well done that is some feat. You are supposed to be custodians of the GAME of FOOTBALL at a senior level in Scotland please act accordingly and do the thing that we all know to be correct and have any new club enter at the level of SFL Division 3 in competition with other applicants. Otherwise I think you will find fans like me who have supported their clubs in my case for forty fours years will "just do walking away" FOREVER!

  20. Sent to SFA Dear Sirs/Madams Could I just remind you of the most important value of UEFA from its Eleven Points: In everything that we do, football must always be the first and most important element that we take into consideration. Football is a game before being a product, a sport before being a market, a show before being a business. When does an inducement as put out by the SPL become a breach of the Bribery Act 2010? Speaking as a fan ( Dundee FC) that is what this plan amounts to, intimidation laced with open bribery. Seldom in my life have I been ashamed to call my self Scottish but the actions shown by those running football in this country have however shamed football, shamed the country and above all else has shown complete disregard for the opinions of your customers, namely me and fellow football fans. It also shows complete disregard for your own objects as to why you were established in the first place as laid out in 3 (2) of your Memorandum of Association. May I suggest you read 1 Timothy 6:10: "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." In the case of Scottish football never has a truer word been spoken. I regret to inform you that if this proposal goes forward then I will turn my back on Scottish football which is not something I want to do but principals and integrity are paramount, everyone has their own line in the sand, with me this has crossed.

  24. Normally I pine for August but this summer I don't want the close season to end - its provided far more excitement than any football I've watched in recent years. And when the new season eventually does come around, whatever happens with SEVCO5088 or whatever they're called, 3rd, 1st or nowhere, there's going to be the most almighty bun-fight between fans, clubs and the football authorities. If justice is not done, I can see myself and others walking onto the NDP turf, stopping a game with a peaceful protest and, probably, getting a lifetime ban. And what's more, I couldn't care because I'd want nothing to do with the corrupt, threatening, sycophantic entity that is Scottish Football. There must be thousands like me and, unless everyone involved in Scottish Football suddenly grows a pair, they won't be seeing these customers again.

  26. if you want to really go by the rules then yes perhaps Newco Rangers shouldn't even get in Division 3. although I believe 3 years of financial accounts etc - this is guidance. at the end of the day if they have the stadium and even if they only have 1/10th of the fans of the old Rangers they would be bringing 5000 fans to games. i think saying they shouldn't even be in Division 3 is taking things too far. Div3 is where rangers should go for the crimes committed. they should attempt to work their way up through the leagues. this appears to be what 90%+ of fans including Rangers want. why this has sickened me is the following. this (laughable) "document" has been out for well over a day now. just because St.Johnstone Chairman Steve Brown wasnt there at the meeting it doesn't mean it doesn't have Saints support. it wasnae me i was at McDiarmid Park all day will not wash. the longer that time goes on and Saints dont distance themselves from the document then the more and more one has to believe they are a backer of the document. ( and the same goes for other chairman of the other clubs) Brown is on the SPL board and is the chairman of one of the SPL clubs. If this released without his knowledge in a last ditch desperate attempt by Doncaster/Longmuir etc then he should come out and say so ???? lets not forget that this document is effectively BLACKMAILING the SFL clubs. The same SFL that the SPL at ever opportunity in the past has shown 2 fingers to from the moment the SPL was formed in order for the top clubs to keep a bigger share of the pie. SO. if the SFL clubs are brave and stick together and make Rangers start in division 3 I will of got what I believed to be justice. HOWEVER. How can I continue to support Saints if I believe they have been a part of this blackmail plot to stick Rangers in SFL1 (in the hope they bounce back in a year) and by threatening the SFL1 clubs that if they dont support it they will break away and form an SPL2. IT IS OUTRAGEOUS. Also , this isnt the time for "oh well we tried our best, lets get back to supporting Saints" . This is the time for one final push as these decisions at SFL/SPL are being made next week and fans uproar / outrage needs to be at its loudest on the days leading up to these decisions. As an article from the States said today Scottish Soccer is dead if these proposals go through. What you will be spending your hard earned money on is SOCCERTAINMENT. a RIGGED game ( not sport ) where everything is done to ensure the top two are always Rangers and Celtic.

Simple; it's all the Old Firms fault. They have a vested interest in not allowing chickens to cross roads because it suits their bigotted agendas. I can't wait for the Old Firm to die, so that the sectarian agenda set by Rangers and their bigoted brothers Celtic leaves poultry free to cross whatever roads they please and the whole world will be a far better place!

  33. Not sure if anyone is interested but this is the mail I hacve sent out to the footballing authorities, i am totally disgusted. Dear Sirs, A copy of this has been sent to SPL, SFL, SFA and my clubs Board of Directors. Today's developments as reported both by the BBC and STV regarding the former club (Rangers) and it's latest incarnation Sevco5088, if true, are the most blatant piece of corruption that our game has ever seen – and yes, I include the whole sorry saga that has brought us to this position, in fact it will make Rangers alleged cheating look like a slightly dodgy penalty decision as the custodians of our game break into the stadium and steal the trophy as the game goes on! I really was beginning to think that as the SPL chairmen made their various announcements last week that we were seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and Sevco5088 would be given the opportunity to build a reputation and proceed through the leagues were their team good enough to gain promotion season upon season. This "plan" to parachute Sevco5088 into the second tier of Scottish football is nothing short of disgraceful, the SFA has stated that the worst offence to be committed in football is match fixing, well this goes WAY beyond that, what we are talking here is wholesale league fixing and I for one will not be part of it. I would rather watch my team (Dundee United) playing in a public park in the Sunday Welfare league than pay money to watch them in the top tier of Scottish football if this proposal turns out to be true, whether approved by the clubs or not the very notion that SPL / SFL clubs would be complicit in such an underhand manoeuvre fills me with anger. UEFA states that "In everything that we do, football must always be the first and most important element that we take into consideration. Football is a game before being a product, a sport before being a market, a show before being a business." Please could someone explain which part of this proposal even comes anywhere near this sentiment? If this transpires then all I can say is that I am finished with Scottish senior football and this includes the national team, you have burst the ball and the game is over. I know that I am far from being the only fan with these feelings and wonder where your precious commercial benefits and TV deals will be as blameless teams play infront of empty or near empty stadiums next season, please think long and hard before you destroy our game completely. The only option is Sevco5088 in Div 3 providing they meet all criteria and are seen as the preferred option (other applications not withstanding). I look forward to your replies. Regards (Name and address supplied)

  34. Not me. If Rangers come back in any shape or form in any division in senior football in Scotland then I will never set foot in a Scottish football ground ever again. I want Rangers dead and buried. I want to shine my shoes and dance all over their grave. I want their disgusting supporters to feel the pain and to never darken the doorstep of another Scottish football ground. Nothing less than the end of the Old Firm this summer will do for me.

  35. Also, if the majority of SFL clubs, and i do hope it is the majority, object to Rangers going anywhere but the 4th division then what kind of set up would "SPL2" have? About 6 clubs in it? Why does scottish football have to accomodate a club that doesnt even have a name just now and is involved in the most vicious of infighting? Why cant the leagues change FOR THE BENEFIT OF SCOTTISH FOOTBALL also - of note, i see that they are saying the game will not survive if Rangers dont continue. That is absolute horseshit. The new Rangers will not have half the support they used to have after a season of mixed results on the park, IF they even get on the park next year. They are doing a bloody good job of ensuring that they never re-emerge from what I can see. ALSO - HAS CHAZ GREEN PUT HIS DOCUMENTS INTO SFL YET (DEADLINE DAY TODAY REMEMBER) OR IS THIS ANOTHER "FINAL FINAL DEADLINE" SCENARIO HAPPENING?

  36. It looks like something cobbled together in a hurry, the kind of thing posted on this board as a spoof. It's full of typos and logical or grammatical errors: 1. "Rangers have no where to go". It's 'nowhere', you clots. And there is no 'Rangers' any more, because the did have somewhere to go - the grave. 2. "Takes approximately £16 million out of the game". But that £16M was mostly going to Rangers so the majority of teams aren't much worse off - especially not the SFL clubs that this missive is aimed at. 3. "Commercial partners walk away and seek compensation". Proof? Scare-mongering tactics. 4. "The settlement agreement becomes a major risk", What 'settlement agreement'? What is this? 5. "The sporting opportunity is quashed for other clubs". Not enough info in that bullet point to work out what they mean. If they mean that no Rangers means no chance to beat or be beaten by Rangers, I'd propose that honour would transfer to whichever club takes their place. 6. Section 3, "Rangers to SFL1", is crazy. For example, the first bullet says "Reduces SPL income by approximately 30%" but that applies to every option other than 'Rangers voted into SPL' so why only state it here. It's also nothing to do with the SFL clubs being addressed. 7. More of the same... Ach, I've lost the will to go any further. The whole document is unstructured and illogical, full of non sequitors and doesn't properly address its target audience. Why, if I didn't know better, I'd say that it might have been written by someone who wasn't actually part of the SFL set-up. But that couldn't be the case. Could it?

  37. Well said Bob. That's what I was getting at in my email to Scot. TV money shouldn't be allowed to be spent on players wages and running costs. It should be spent on building up the value of the clubs assets. It's training facilities, youth programs and reserve teams. Currently, clubs like Dundee and soon to be Rangers, have been stripped of all assets. They're worth nothing on paper and are completely unviable because there has been no investment into bricks and mortar assets only on prima donna players by boards chasing the dream. This is an opportunity for all teams to get together and say they've had enough. It's time to build self-sustaining clubs of value and rebuild the Scottish game from top to bottom.

  38. This may seem off topic but bear with me please - Was reading tonight's BBC piece where Shearer basically said England have no chance in the 2014 WC. Now a couple of years ago the average Engerland fan would've kicked up merry hell upon hearing such sedition. The MSM would've stoked the flames for days, spinning a pretty dull pundit's honest opinion into a vital question on modern identity, and making pointless comparisons between EPL players from different countries. But tonight's comments on the article are surprising because the vast majority are in agreement with Shearer. TBH I was pretty wary of this new found "modesty" that the whole England camp - players, supporters, pundits etc - seemed to be portraying lately, and thought it was just for show. You see there is, imo, a striking similarity between England and TCFKAR fans. They both expect to win all the time and this is fuelled by a misplaced sense of historical superiority. However, on this evening's evidence I think I've done the England support a mis-service. They seem to be grasping the nettle somewhat regarding some of their own fans' behaviour and are also beginning to look at the bigger picture more realistically. If only the penny was dropping for their Scottish counter-parts... But this wasn't really the reason for the post. You see, I saw a fair few were picking up on the Sky angle and realising the harm that it's actually causing their game. Lots of valid points were raised and many of them can be related to the stooshie currently happening up here. Don't know whether it's the Leveson enquiry making people more sceptical of the influence of the MSM or not, but there's a real feeling that wall-to-wall weekend "packaged" football is not the future. Since the TV money entered our game the sharks have come circling. Sure Murray and Whyte have been caught, and some more will be spotted in the coming months, but many will slip through the net and this situation will probably just repeat itself. The saving grace is actually such a hated team becoming the first to fall foul of the money; without them going through such shit just now fans would remain divided and nothing would change. So we should use this period of heightened activity throughout the community to not only tell the h*ns to retire to their tiny bedrooms in their maw's flat and do one, but also to say to Sky TV with its Mengele-like attempts to shoehorn cold business ethics into our national sport, that they can f**k off too.

  40. You really have to congratulate the ****, not content with making a mess of their own bigot filled cess pit of a club, they have now managed to take the rest of Scottish football with them. Im aware our own clubs seem to be assuming the position but i absolutely hate you, bunch of buckie drinking, fake gold wearing, thinking shell suits are a fashion statement, sport socks two for a pound selling, whiney nasal talking, watch your car mister saying, no toothed, scurvy ridden, wearing a cap on the peak of your head, chippy every night for your tea, work shy, benefit cheating, bassas

  41. Dear Mr Lawrie I am writing to you about the current situation with the club currently being liquidated Rangers FC. I have been a Dumbarton fan for all of my life I have pictures of my great grandad rebuilding the wall at Boghead in the 1950,s I have pictures of my Grannies washing line with all the strips hanging out after she had washed them, something she did for a while In fact I was attending Boghead before I was born as both my mum and Auntie served in the snack bar on the end of the Turnberry stand. I attended with my brother from aged 8 on, I was there when Ian Wallace scored against Kilmarnock in ,76 went to Hampden for the cup semi final Attended every game through the ,84 promotion run to the top league There for the last game at Boghead , in fact got a piece of the pitch in the garden and some of the bricks from that wall my granda repaired There for the first game at the Rock, jumping up and down when we put 6 past Elgin to cap an amazing catch up of Cowdenbeath. My birthday present on my 40th was 300 shares in the club My daughter was taken along on her first birthday to experience what has brought me so much joy and satisfaction I am still in shock at us going up this year. However the situation with Sevco 5088 or TCFKAR is so iniquitous that it may well lead to me giving up on Dumbarton and Scottish football completely. The rules are clear Sevco must apply to the bottom rung of the league structure as any other prospective new club would Doesn't matter how many fans they have Doesn't matter what ground they have this is a club that has cheated every person in Scotland Cheated the normal hard working tax payers Cheated every league competition since 1998 at least Is home to significant amount of rabid sectarian hooligans Anything other than an insistence on applying to league 3 is craven cowardice or cheating itself by the footballing authorities I will not be party to this nor will any of my family I hope you are as disgusted as I am at the plan to parachute Sevco into the 1st division. I will be sending a copy Of this letter to the SFA which will also include details of my support of the national team I would be grateful for your thoughts on the matter Yours Sincerely Neil Sent from my iPad

  42. Neil Doncaster has been quiet because he is carefully considering all the best possible scenarios for Scottish football. Here's a quick guide to his thought process so far....

  43. Charles Green does not own Rangers Football Club. Rangers Football Club are still in administration and still being run by Duff and Phelps until such time as the court appointed liquidators step in to finally close them down. Rangers Football Club is dead. It still has its history but that history now has a line under it, it cannot be added to. Charles Green is the CEO of either Sevco 5088 or Sevco Scotland. He wont say which. One or possibly both of these companies have purchased the assets of Rangers Football Club. These assets consist of Ibrox stadium, Murray Park and the Albion car park. Sevco is not Rangers Football Club, has never been and can never be Rangers Football Club, it also cannot be The Rangers Football Club for the time being anyway. Sevco is not a football team. It is not registered with any Football Association nor does it have a league to play in. It does not hold the registration papers for any football players, neither can it hold the registration of any professional football player until it is a registered football team. Sevco has no automatic right to enter the professional game in Scotland. It is a newco, a new company and a new club. It has no history. It has no place in any league, therefore it cannot be 'relegated', it cannot be 'demoted' it can only be admitted. If Sevco is to be admitted to the professional game in Scotland then it must first apply to join the Scottish FA to become a member. It must then apply to enter the third division, the bottom tier of Scottish Football. This application process will be open to any club that wishes to participate, It is likely that there will be strong applications from Spartans FC, Cove Rangers FC and possibly some others. These clubs have been through this process before, they are aware of the necessary criteria for applying and they will meet this criteria by providing amongst other things three years accounts. Sevco cannot produce three years accounts therefore it fails to meet the necessary criteria for admittance to the SFL third Division. Any move to circumvent the already established process and criteria for entry into the professional game in Scotland in order to favour one hopeful club over another, will result in a legal challenge by the disaffected clubs, which will suspend the beginning of the Scottish season. Sevco are not banned from Europe for three years they are not permitted to play in European competitions because they are a new club and cannot provide three years audited accounts, unlike the SFA, UEFA will not bend nor ignore their rules just because it is Rangers. Another point to be noted, it will actually be four seasons before sevco can play in Europe because they have now missed the cut off point for submitting this years accounts. Because they are not banned from Europe the only punishment Rangers Football Club has so far received for their years of corrupting the Scottish game to their own advancement and financial gain has been to be deducted ten points, an automatic penalty for entering administration. They have also been fined a paltry £160,000, It is unclear if this fine remains with Rangers Football Club or is to be transferred to Sevco. So when you hear it said Rangers have been punished enough ask in what way have they been punished. They have not been banned from Europe, they have not been demoted, they have suffered no financial penalty of note. Everything that has happened to Rangers Football club has been their own doing, their own choice rather than pay off the debts that they accrued whilst attempting to be the most successful team in Scotland they chose administration, they chose liquidation, they chose to form a Newco.
