  7. There are a couple things really bugging me about this forum at the moment... Firstly, the use of the words "wedge" and "score", when talking about money. I really, really particularly hate the word "wedge". Its such an ugly, classless word, and it cheapens any sentence it is used in. Secondly, those fucking rage comics and troll face things. I really, really hate that badly drawn shit, and it really fucking irritates me. Its not funny, its not clever, its badly drawn, overused, offensive to my eyes shite. Why can't we stick with lolcats? Lolcats were good! I appreciate that I've set myself up for a million of those fucking images, but I don't care.

  8. I just don't think he'll have deserved another chance to stay at the helm as he would have taken us back where we started without any discernible sense of evolution. He hasn't given us a bunch of youths to look to the future with; he hasn't given us half-decent football to watch; he chose a full time squad whilst getting shot of perfectly good players because his head was turned by a 2nd placed finish so instead of a middling 1st division club with healthy mix of f/t & p/t we'll be entirely p/t again; his booklet of tactics seems to be laminated so predictable is our play; and we are poor relations to a whole heap of shit clubs in this league. That to me especially is starting to hit home now as week after week teams barely break sweat to outplay us. These are all laid at his door as far as I'm concerned (and I'm hugely concerned!) Think of a favourite player from his time at the club (one of our players please) - was he skilful or just a trier? He made the team in his image - hard-working, honest graft, but ultimately limited. Do we really want any potential time back in the 2nd Division to be a chore? Can't we take a punt on someone who could potentially reinvigorate our stagnant club? I will reiterate though, that I hope it doesn't come down to this. Hopefully we can turn this godawful season around and find some inspiration somewhere. I appreciate his qualities and what he has given us these past 5 years, and I don't wish to appear disloyal to a good man, but time and circumstances are moving fast.

  10. We'll see, and when Y2J does show on the 2nd of January and starts feuding with CM Punk leading up to a match at WrestleMania the smugness that will be shown will be off the charts and we'll soon see about reasoning. - Also the girl doesn't even need to be a tangible person, she's probably just representing the WWE as a whole. IMO they're putting more emphasis on the girl now to make people think otherwise. Again, it's funny how people in this thread think they're some sort of fountain of wrestling knowledge.

  14. I think that's true of most First Division clubs. Look at Morton this season from fans feeling hopeful about a return to the SPL to in danger of getting dragged into the relegation batte if recent form continues. Or Falkirk from the misery of last season to a cup semi-final and second in the league. Or Lennon at Celtic from another Kilmarnock goal away from the sack to back to being the Messiah. The reality was the last third of last season we were playing only slightly better than we were now. Tade and a slightly more solid defence made the difference in games. There will always be ups and downs at clubs, ebbs and flows. The reason we're not used to it the last five years is because it's been pretty much an upward trajectory under McGlynn. Maybe we've gone soft or maybe I'm just an age where I'm used to the disappointment. There's still all to play for. Assuming we're as good as relegated is as daft as the Morton fans already looking forward to the SPL earlier in the season. Keep the faith!

It's a pretty big difference between winning and losing, quite possibly the biggest difference in football. Rovers were never renowned for playing attractive football, but it was a brand of football from which they got results, now they are not getting them what do you have left? I know, I mean how can home defeats to the teams which just came up change your mind Oh dear.
