Munich - 8 / 10 - Brilliant film - I certainly believe this is up there with Spielbergs bests. One scene in this sums up the story perfectly and it is perfectly executed. Good performances all round and the lovely Ayelet Zurer as the protagonists wife.2 points

For Children in Need, me and a few friends are going to dress up as women and go out in the town. I have no idea how this will raise money, but it will raise a few laughs.1 point

I've had two punctures in two nights one front and one back, while the bike has been in my shed or in my G/f garge. I thought the first one was just bad luck but now there are two i'm beggining to wonder. I just fitted schwalbe R1 folding tyres and use continental tubes (well not anymore) the tyres say they can take up to 145psi, I had them up at about 125psi I was sure the tubes could have taken this as thats what they were at when my original Kendal tyres were on it. On the plus side I got my stuff in for PFS, think i'll stop at lithgie for the free food and then right to the finish, maybe even cycle home to Bonnybridge if its a decent day and i'm feeling ok after the 47.3 miles Edit - maybe the numbers are in alphabetical order?1 point

Nope. There was no means testing for my bursary. It was provided by the EPSRC. There were 8 of us on the course and 7 of us were fully funded with bursaries around £900 per month. The eighth guy was from India and was paid by his employer. You just need to be studying something that people are willing to pay for.1 point

If someone posted that on my wall I would start a vicious rumour about them being a cross-dresser who listens to Maroon 5.1 point

It's the law that when Pat Clarke's name is brought up in a Raith thread, someone must come along and state he was never given a chance under Dalziel, and that they would happily have him back at Starks. Sadly, I'm not that guy - I've never been impressed when he's played against us, and would rate him as average at best.1 point

The French connection 1 and The French Connection 2 I seen these years ago and watched them both last night. Very enjoyable movies. Hackman, Scheider and Fresson are superb. A solid 8 for both of them.1 point

Cinderella man - The acting was great. The camera angles were great. I just can't stand movies which are based on real people totally lie about what is factually correct. It shows a great boxer in a terrible light and is untrue. 4 / 10 but had the potential to be a very good film1 point

Xmen first class - was really good. Thoroughly enjoyed it - 8 / 101 point

Absolute Power - 6 / 10 The three main male characters are all great actors and play their parts very well. Good storyline but one very big f**k up in the story which happens near the end to spoil it a bit.1 point

Stephen King - The Stand 8/10 a man made disease wipes out most of the population leaving the goodies and the baddies fighting it out for survival Borrowed the dvd of a mate at work so I'll be spending the weekend watching it, it's on for 6 hour1 point

Any chance somebody could start a Falkirk Spam thread? I'm just amazed FalkirkShop hasn't worked out how to spam attack OneF yet. Must be the only one.-1 points

Considering that someone has kindly opened a seperate thread entitled "Falkirk e-bay Store", on OneF, I thought it only sensible to ask for the same here on P&B. Then those that want to peruse such items can do so, whilst those that don't, wont have to wade through acres of these item descriptions.-1 points

I should maybe have slated your fundraising attempts as well, as you'll not save many children for £85. Considering your name is Cumming, I'd be surprised if you could raise a hard on. Then again, they were probably too busy spending their cash on those 'hotcakes' you call T-shirts from your shameless link. It's puzzles me though, considering your sales claims, how I've never seen a single one on display at the Bairnabeu?-2 points
