  5. With all the respect in the world, that's nonsense. By all means, if you really, really have to, then go 4-5-1 and sit deep and try to play out a 0-0, but foregoing strikers altogether and playing a 4-6-0 is a complete middle finger up to the entire sport. I'm not a massive Scotland fan, and certainly I wouldn't travel abroad to watch them play, but had I been at the game tonight, I would've been absolutely furious. Accepting that you'd be outclassed in an all-out attacking game is fine, but completely abandoning all hope of attacking before a ball is even kicked is shameful, especially against a fairly average team such as the Czech Republic. Any team that plays without strikers should be roundly shunned by everyone, no matter who it is or who they're playing.

  6. I don't understand why people are moaning about the tatics used tonight. Ask any Scotland fan and they would have took your hand off if offered a point away to the Czech Republic. The goal we conceded came from a corner, which was nothing to do with our formation. Levein's only fault tonight was not introducing Miller as soon as we went behind. Otherwise, he got it spot on.

  7. Thomas has finally started walking on his own this week at long last. It's brilliant seeing him wobbling along on two feet. Nearly 20 months old though. I think that's quite late to start.

  8. Absolutely; I didn't renew because of Massone and nothing to do with what the "Trust" may or may not have said. Actually going by the threads on Livilions the trust had little credibility with their "we've got a plan but we're not telling you" sort of stance. I'm afraid this sort of alienated many who saw it as a "we know best" sort of attitude. For Alex to suggest that the Trust's statements could have had a significant effect on whether or not people renewed their season tickets is really taking things too far. Personally all the court cases and liquidity problems (players not being paid, utilities being cut off, etc. etc.) had a far greater effect on my decision not to renew my season tickets at the time. Based on what I saw, not by what others told me, there is absolutely no chance the club would still be in existence with Massone in change; lodged accounts can present one figure but they do not represent true cash flow and liquidity month by month; likewise ongoing liability for season tickets etc. can be a little misleading. However the idea that he sold the "sell-on" clauses etc. because he was being force out by the trust is really a bit unrealistic. The trust never have that kind of power or influence, even under Flynn when they gave away £X000 for some paultry share value, and any other belief is frankly pie in the sky. Some saw it as the supporters mouthpiece but in reality only represented the members of the trust (however many that may be).

  9. Finally, 2 weeks late, and a labour lasting less than an hour little Chloe make her appearance. Mrs WB was in HDU for most of the day, so daddy has bonded and become totally smitten by his wee girl.
