A quick query of my mine folks. During the 6 o'clock news on STV, when it goes to the regional bit (East/West), why does it vary between the two for where I stay? I ain't moved.

The rugby is imminent on BBC1 and someone's car alarm has just gone off in the road next to mine. It's not a siren type "wooh-wooh-wooh", the monotone whine of which is fairly easy to blank out of the background noise, oh no. It's one of those old-fashioned (I assume) ones linked to the car horn. So all I hear is: "Honk-honk-honk-honk-honk-honk-honk-honk-honk-honk-..... tremulous silence and momentary relief that the owner has turned up and switched it off, when..... honk-honk-honk-honk-honk-honk-honk-honk-honk-honk-....."

I know! I forgot James telling us last week to tune in at 9am this Saturday as well. The only plus side is that Cumbrae is nearer to me than Stornoway and as it's smaller, the cars take less time to go round it!

Can you get old episodes of the World football phone-in anywhere online? If not does anyone still have them on their ipod?
